Dude, I'm always a cadet (that's what active duty means, brah) but I'm back to a classroom environment. We only do cool guy training during the summer. That's when I'm black for a month at a time, since I'm off fighting imaginary enemies in the mountains.

@Dinh AaronMk, I am guessing that his government is similar to America's government before it fell. The current party is Liberal (I think, correct me if I am wrong @deathkiller).

Segregation starting to end (Very slowly, and only a few states have actual proclaimed an end) But the government went to a full republic, so they don't elect the president directly. Only they elect there governor directly, and that governor is apart of the Council. The council its self can create laws, declare war, and declares what is constitutional, or not. They also elect the president, who, can break stalemate arguments {Except for what's constitutional or not} and acts as a diplomatic figure head. He can steer the council to push for certain laws. The presidents power is extremely limited.

So basically, the direct involvement of the people's voices in the electoral process of high-ranking office is removed; a privledge and power pretty well enjoyed by all demographics with power of suffrage since at least the turn of the century, if not earlier?

the lack of an agreed upon Point of Divergence AND non-existant rules of how to create an American nation. Not to mention that our GM is gone like the wind.


I think this something to consider. For many countries, the point of divergence will be the eve of the Great Crash but for some countries, I assume they're following the historical order of things. For example, I've decided the Japanese point of divergence was sometime in 1935, in which the ROC invaded Taiwan/Korea and kicked off this universe's Second Sino-Japanese War (@Doctoryzer, we should set a specific date for this).

As for the rules on American states, I think we shouldn't allow any more mega-states (encompassing 4 or more IRL states) to keep things open and more interesting. It might help if we made up some NPC nations in the remaining space and allow new players to join as them as opposed to allowing a big patch of empty land in the Midwest.

Most likely, if I plan the Third R.o.China being established in about, 1932, and spent the three years building up to fuel Korean insurgency and do military build up; at least with the strengthen to take back Taiwan, and liberate the Korean peninsula, leaving to the current 1935 ideal to maybe be set at lets say, March 5th; with the kick off of the plans of politically, militarily backing the Korean insurgency, and than also possible July 6th, the liberation of Taiwan; leaving to the current RL, North-South Korea, Armistices; even though both sides are playing it to build up encase a Third Sino-Japanese War sparks? That's just my theory of how we can pull it off.
