Well, I think that's been unanimously settled. Break it is!

I'm not going to make any promises on when the IC will start back up again, but I'll keep posting in the OOC to show how truly alive I am. Let's use this as a general hub for everything YGO for now, until we can all get our groove back.

So I was looking at the new cards more. Espirits seem fun as hell to brew around. Juunishishi aka Zodiac Beasts also seen fun to brew around. but my personal favourite. Foolish Burial with Belongings. It just seems fun to build a deck around.

I hate Zodiac beasts. When you can 1-card a Tierra with just Terrortop there's something wrong with the deck imo.

I've been trying out shiranui tonight. Seems like a solid deck but I can't seem to get the combos down besides the basic omega. I see omega and then I think: Well then what?

Also fucking bull shit today. Vanity's emptiness just happens to be drawn in a over 40 card red eyes deck? OK whatever. Fucking twin twister in satellars saves them from my necrovalley and if they drew it on their turn or went second I would've stardust roaded his ass. All sorts of BS. And lucky fucking blue eyes player happens to play 2 chaosmax on my utopias in a row. If I hadn't left Trickclown in def or he hadn't gotten the second chaos max off a trade in I would've won freaking EASY.

Speaking of which, I finally learned how to use DevPro. It's surprisingly easy, actually. Unfortunately, I only have a couple decks, but they're still fun.

Speaking of which, I finally learned how to use DevPro. It's surprisingly easy, actually. Unfortunately, I only have a couple decks, but they're still fun.

Yes, I am opposed to it. We don't need one, we have the ooc for that.

I was also told a story about a time when a Skype group was created for a similar reason, and the rp died in favor for that Skype group.

Gonna agree with Scurmifer over here, I don't like the idea of a skype and/or discord group. I want to ensure the attention is on this RP and stays on it too, so an active OOC will help with that.

A quick question for everyone. Is Red Resonator really worth running in fire fists? I don't believe it's recyclable or searchable so it leaves you with no synchro plays and you'd need to rock it off your rank 4's. I'm running a modified version of jeff jone's old deck to fit with the new times and I nearly beat a old style D/D/D player with it only losing because the damn game wouldn't let me get wolfbark's effect.

Technically Fire Fist does have 1 synchro monster, but I'm not entirely sure as to how Fire Fist work, not having played it myself.

Well, Fire Fists actually have two Synchro monsters, but only the Level 6 is ever worth using (it's the entire reason the 3-axis variant works). I'm guessing since Red Resonator is a Level 6 Synchro off of one Normal Summon, it's used primarily for Horse Prince.

I've only ever ran Fire Fists as a joke engine for Sacred Beasts, and I've certainly never tried Red Resonator in Fire Fists, but from my rather limited experience, I would say Red Resonator is just an inferior Spirit.

@AmmokkxAs the others say they have a level 6 and another tuner would help them go into trishula and other monsters. Firefists from my brief experience of them are a heavy control deck. My main gripe is they lack a power monsters so I tried to use Crystal Wing but it couldn't synchro with spirit. I've considered throwing in Hawk but I'm not sure it's worth it since it's so weak.

Feel pretty accomplished with the fire fists. Jeff Jone's deck is still pretty solid. Beat two anti-meta toadally awesome hero decks. Didn't let them get out the big toad with solemns or fiendish chains. Dark Hole came clutch as fuck. Besides them I defeated Ancient Gears (vanity's technically won that solemns also set not included), and lost to blackwings because the fucker opened up with two black whirlwinds and that ain't broken or anything.
