Jamie

@DustyOldCrow@canaryrose@Vas Khaleen@Kyrisse@Venku@King Tai@Gareth@Wick@dabombjk@BlackPanther@Ashevelendar@Shadow Daedalus

Jamie smiled at Razor as he approached, and laughed at his reaction to the, at the moment, essentially placid Romarod. "Yes yes, Gun'tar is an ass, but Romarod is quite a nice person. You don't need to worry with him. Hey, I have another rabbit. I didn't get much of the last one, maybe we could cook it up again, I'd really love to try those spices" as Elyra fell asleep, she decided that was her queue to leave. Leaning forward, she gently stroked her friends hair, and she grabbed her own blanket, wrapping it around Elyra gently, although she was sure Elyra would be warm enough, snuggled againsr Razor.

She rose, and stretched, "Now, if you excuse me, I have to go annoy Shadow Its been a few hours, he might start getting complacent" She chuckled, although the recent events had left her stomach a flutter with nerves, and worry that she might mess up whatever this was, and send Darius fleeing. She was quite interested to see what he meant by treating what they had as a special bond. Jamie, despite all her confidnece and her portrying of having been around the block a few times, she had absolutely no idea how to act in a relationship.

"Look after Elyra, for me, will you Razor? She's had a tough day" She said softly, kindly, concerned for her friend. Before approaching Darius on the other side of the fire, Jamie went to check on Wiliam, finding him awake, and seemed to have gotten into a little spat with Malcom and Salem. Deciding not to get involved in that, Jamie went back to the fire, and plopped herself down by Darius, she didn't say anything, deciding for the moment to let Darius lead things for the moment, she took out her whetstone, and began to care for her sword, which with everything she had let that lapse.

Elise & Vladimir

Figuring that Elise didn't want to wake up to a lot of people staring down at her, Vladimir decided not to take her back to where the others were. Instead, he made a fire, made sure that Elise was comfortable where she was and then resumed cleaning his armor. Several times he glanced towards her and he heard her mumble something that sounded like James' name in her sleep. The mage looked peaceful enough as she slept, her chest rising up and down with equal steady breaths. He thought back to her questions and her words earlier.

Who AM I? Before I was Elise Shadewater? ...There are memories in my head...memories that does not belong to me...What did they do to me?

And that clarity in her blue eyes.

My name. It's Athelia Westward.

"Athelia Westward," Vladimir repeated the name under his breath as he began putting on his newly cleaned armor. It wasn't an unfamiliar name. During one of their first few missions together, he had heard the mage speak it in her sleep. He thought it was the name of a relative or something and he didn't bother asking her about it. He dismissed it as insignificant since she never spoke the name again. Until now... Why now? What was its importance? She had always been Elise Shadewater to the Templar. Who was Athelia Westward? Was it her real name?

The Bandit Attack

collaboration with @king tai@caits@dabombjk

Darius was sitting in front of the campfire, eyes closed and mind calmed. He had, for the last small stretch of time, been going over what he had read in his small leather bound journal. He did not know if anyone else knew about it and for once he actually hoped they did not. Throughout this entire trip he had made no illusions of secrecy, or at least never out rightly lied. He may not have told the entire truth on some things and he may have refused to say some things but he never lied. Darius felt a small sense of pride on knowing he did not lie. He hoped he would not have to lie about his small leather bound journal because he would if someone asked about it. And what it said........Darius felt uneasy.

Darius felt the air slightly change when Jamie sat next to him. A useful skill he was taught, being able detect small changes in the air around him. He did not look over, but he could tell it was Jamie. From the small but light thud she made when she sat down, to the slight fragrance she carried on her person. The biggest give away though, was that she sat next to him. The only person who would sit next to him would be Jamie, the only person brave enough. Darius lifted his left hand and placed it on Jamies leg. He squeezed once and let go.

Darius tensed suddenly. There was a sudden nip in the air, and it made him uneasy. He had felt this before.....Darius opened his eyes and looked around. Why did he have such a bad feeling?

As silent as a nights breeze and as quick as the speed of light Darius reached out in front of his and Jamies face with both his hands and caught an arrow aimed right for their foreheads. He leaped up and tossed both arrows back in the direction they came from, landing with a slicing sound followed by two thuds as two bodies hit the ground. Darius unsheathed both blades from his person and yelled loud enough for the group to hear.

"EVERYONE TO YOUR FIGHTING STANCES! WE ARE BEING ATTACKED."

Darius looked over at Jamie.

All around The Shadow everyone had started to stir and started to defend themselves. Bandits, dressed head to toe in leather and other such materials, had started to appear almost put of the shadows it seemed like. But they did not fight like normal bandits. They had such skill, that everyone in the camp seemed to have trouble fending off the horde of attackers. They swarmed the caravan, the area around the camp, and the tents propped up.

As Darius tensed, Jamie put her whetstone down, holding her sword, glancing about. Out the corner of her eye, she saw the arrow coming, but couldn't do anything about it. Darius's lightening quick move stopped the arrow, and she quickly rose to her feet. Stationary for a moment as the bandits swarmed the camp, it seemed impossible to count their number, but it was clear they meant business. Even with their new numbers, Jamie figured they would struggle slightly against them. So, best to get to it. She glanced about, knowing she could do more damage with her bow, she searched for slightly higher ground, that would be easy to defend. Wondering why they had camped where they were, she sighed softly, catching Darius's glance, she gave him a smile.

"Lets go"

Then she was off, targeting a group of bandits, making her way towards the caravans.

Elyra had just started to relax when Razer jumped up and knocked her over in the process. As he moved her eyes opened and she saw masked men attacking the camp. Elyra looked to her gear and it was in the caravan. She pulled the slingshot out of her pocket and the dagger out of her skirt. Someone fell against her and she was sent sprawling. She lost her slingshot in the attempt to get under the caravan cart nearest her.

Maren and Aelar were in the tent and Elyra darted out dodging her companions as well as the enemy. She noticed that there were several gargantu among the bandits. One of the gargantu caught her as she ducked around a horse and she stabbed him in the neck. He dropped her with her at least four feet to the ground and she yelled. "MAREN, AELAR." She could hear them getting ready to come out. Maren poked her head out first and she shot an arrow at one of the gargantu's. When it missed, Elyra grabbed her and she pulled her into the forest. "Shh," Elyra said. "We can't fight hand to hand so we are staying safe." She whispered. "Let the fighters fight and we can work on them after. We aren't doing them any favors if they are trying to save us repeatedly."

Darius scanned the horde of bandits. He dodged and counter attacked as best as he could but he was having a hard time launching a full on assault. The skill the bandits showed was no joke, and their numbers made them disturbing. But there was something else. He kept looking backwards and keeping an eye on Jamie. Every so often when an enemy had gotten behind her he would leap backwards and take care of the bandit. But every time he did this it left him quite open.

As such, Darius's situation went south quickly. Darius quickly twirled around, blocking a blade from Jaimes neck, when an arrow suddenly protruded from the bottom left spot of Darius stomach. Darius was staggered, but quickly turned around and threw a knife at the archer, killing him.

Fighting was always chaotic, and yet it often had a clarity to it. Often about acting and reacting, Jamie tried not to keep herself exposed, but there were so many of the bandits, it was quite hard. She started to turn, as Darius blocked the blade that probably would have severed her neck, earning himself an arrow.

It caused Jamie to stop a moment, before she spun back around, slashing out with her blade, before slipping it back into her sheath, and bringing out her bow. Stepping back towards Darius, she began to rapidly fire arrows, not really stopping to aim, just seeking to take down as many as she could.

Romarod continued to sit at the campfire thinking about this music thing that was explained and demonstrated earlier by both Elyra and Jamie. It sounded nice but there had to be more. He wanted...more. Looking at the campfire as the flickering flame continued to hypnotize Romarod for a moment, his concentration was broken from Darius warning of an attack, looking up to the arrows being shot at some of his comrades.

He stood up as 3 bandits noticed him, aiming for the giant, shooting their arrows towards him as he brought his palm up pointing it towards the arrows as his force pushing magic deflected them, braking them into smaller sticks. The moment he did that he felt a blunt force from behind, as pain started to form on his back by the blindside hit he took from another Gargantu who used a war hammer, swinging it to smash into Romarod's back, causing the big guy to fall to one knee.

This was the opening the bandits needed as two rushed him and the third stayed behind to aim once again with his arrow. The first fight Romarod is in and already in a tight spot. He looked up and noticed he couldn't defend his front and rear at the same time without having to sacrifice another hit if he was to try and turn and pull a double force palm on each side. So, with his size, he knew he had the power but he wouldn't be fast enough to counter all of that but that would be if he was a non-magi.

Before the other gargantu could attack once again, Romarod used his kinetic acceleration to become a living cannonball/battering ram. Escaping the gargantu behind him with his propulsion, he shoulder blocking the three bandits in front of him knocking them down and possibly injuring them, taking them out of commission before getting hit with a countering punch while still in acceleration after taking down the bandits by another gargantu. Dazing Romarod and bringing him to his hands and knees, now...the gargantu magi had two from his own race to deal with.

Elyra saw her slingshot and told Maren to stay there. She darted out into the fray once again. Her dad gave her that and if he was really gone....she had to have it back. She kept low to the ground and ran as fast as she could. She just got her hands on it when someone grabbed her by her hair and hoisted her into the air. She shrieked and no matter how hard she kicked she couldn't get away and they were big enough to keep her from stabbing them with her dagger.

Maren saw Elyra hoisted into the air like a rag doll and she grabbed her bow and arrow and shot the gargantu in the shoulder. he turned around and as he did Elyra was flung around by her hair. The pain from her head was ridiculous and Maren decided that there had to be another way. She ran out to the fire. She picked up a branch out of the fire and she advanced on him burning him. Unfortunately, Maren set Elyra's dress on fire in the process. The gargantu threw Elyra when her dress caught fire. She rolled and put the dress out but her legs were burnt. Adrenaline made her get up and run. She grabbed Maren and back into the woods they went. Once out of sight Elyra raised what was left of the top skirt and took her shoes off. She quickly looked at her legs and assessed the situation. She decided they needed to stay hidden no matter what.

William , Gun'Tar , Malcolm , Salem

Collab with @BlackPanther

After getting over the incident with Salem and Malcolm, William went to continue testing another one of his theories about the bombs. Another failed attempt he thought but he had to try.
He went to his tent in the caravan and took another bowl of his own blood out to be tested. He concentrated on it and soon the blood started to vibrate a little. " Hmm...maybe more. " he said out loud. He continued his test again, this time taking more life force from the blood. As soon as he started to concentrate, the blood vibrated even harder but it was not enough. He was about to try again when Shadow's voice shattered the silence of the night. " Attack ? Fuck. ".

William went outside and almost collided with a bandit as he did. The bandit turned at him with his sword drawn and raised the sword to hit William.
William quickly put a hand on him and started draining the bandit's life force, faster than he usually did. Two more bandits jumped in to help their friend when William put a foot on the first bandit to continue to drink his life force and with his other two hands pointed at the other bandits and soon sores appeared on their skin and they fell to the ground, yelling in pain.

An arrow would end William's triumph in battle. The arrow hit William in the chest and soon blood started to pour out of the wound. William fell on the ground and put both of his hands on the first bandit to sustain his own fading life force.

A bandit approached to end William's life when Gun'Tar approached screaming and hit the bandit with his warhammer. The distinctive sound *crunch* could be heard when the hammer hit the bandit and it was sure that, that bandit won't get up ever.
Gun'Tar let out a warcry and yelled " Come out you bastands ! Fight like real men ! ".

Gun'tar picked up both William and the bandit he was taking his life force from in one hand with ease and in the other kept his warhammer at the ready.
Soon a few bandits swarmed over Gun'Tar. With one hand ready it was hard for him to defend himself but it was more than enough for the bandits to stop in their approach.

William was barely alive now and soon the others will start to feel the effect of the bombs ( a small pain in their chests that will increase as William is loosing blood ) but even in his damaged state he pointed a hand at the bandits and sores started to appear on them, the grass from around Gun'Tar started to fade away as it's life force was sucked by William.

Gun'Tar used that and ran towards the forest with William but soon fell on one knee as a pain in his chest started to become too strong to ignore.

Salem was carrying Malcolm with ease...though he wasn't super thrilled about it. He paused when he heard the shadows voice call out an attack. This caused him to drop Malcolm with a thud. Malcolm woke up and groaned. "Ow....that was very...what" he stood and looked the way Salem was. "....shit...." the cat shushed Malcolm and both made their way toward the fight. Salem blending in much easier then Malcolm.

Malcolm looked at a bandit and grinned. "So....you wouldn't hurt an unarmed guy would you?" the bandits advanced only for Malcolm to quickly grab two of them and start draining them as fast as he could. His eyes were almost neon as they started to glow. Salem then took out one trying to take advantage of Malcolm not paying attention. His claws making rather....gruesome work. Salem then made his way to the top of the caravan using the vantage point to start striking bandits with lightning for as long as he could. However he was interrupted when he was grabbed by the tail and yanked down. A yelp echoed from him and Malcolm dropped the now dead or unconscious bandits to try to help Salem who was now avoiding knives. Malcolm managed to take out one before he received a knife to the chest.

He stumbled before falling back. This caused fury to emit for Salem as he fought like a mad cat. He took most out and struck the other with what was left of his lightning. He made his way to Malcolm and crouched by him. Tail swishing ears back as he protected him. This seemed to be futile as Salem soon found himself being held by a bandits. They had a knife at his throat and things looked...bad to say the least.

Jamie

@DustyOldCrow@canaryrose@Vas Khaleen@Kyrisse@Venku@King Tai@Gareth@Wick@dabombjk@BlackPanther@Ashevelendar@Shadow Daedalus

"Elyra, go to William, now, I'll cover your retreat" Jamie et her voice echo across the camp, wishing there was another way, the tightening in her chest causing just a hit of panic to enter her voice. Or maybe that was the fact Darius was injuried. She glanced at Darius, but knew that she coulldn't spare much time other then to make sure he wasn't about to die.

Jamie's arrows flew with deadly accuracy as she began to fire again, twenty left... She knew she should be careful about what targets she took down, but there didn't seem to be any point. Her aim turned towards where Salam and Malcum were, and she began to take down the bandits attack them, soon aiming for the ones that held Salem.

No one was going to die if Jamie could help it. She liked living. And she liked most of her companions. She didn't even know where Elyra was, or even if ELyra had heard her call, but she still continued to take down bandits, constantly glancing about her, making sure that there were none trying to sneak up on her and Darius, and if any did, Jamie would pause a moment in her firing, pull out her blade, and slice them open, now fighting with a dedication that seemed to push her to her very limits. She was furious. Not just at the bandits, but at the fact Darius had gotten hurt, protecting her. Foolish, to have allowed that to happen.

And she was a litte scared, too. What if Darius decided he couldn't be with her, she was too much a distraction? So she fought with skill that defied her usual level, and when she ran out of Arrows, she slung her bow across one shoulder, and pulled out her knives. Jamie went towards the banditsstill standing close to her and Darius, and she began to fight, her aim deadly accurate as she would dart in, quick as a flash, stab some vital organ, or slash a neck, stab through an eye, and dance back away, gone before they knew they were dead,

When she'd hopefully given anyone she could a respite, she returned to Darius's side, breathing hard, hair in her eyes, she'd either popped the stitches on her arm fromt he arrow wound, or it had been sliced open again. She had a cut over one eye, the blood effecting her sight somewhat, and her hands, her knives, were stained with blood, guts, gore. She looked a little banged up, and she knew she was running out of stamina, but she wouldn't give up.

Adrian

The attack was sudden, and Adrian hated that. He knew nothing about his comrades, and most of them wouldn't recognize him except, if he was particularly unlucky, as one of the Citadel guard. Nobody was going to listen to him here, not yet, and he knew that. It irritated him, as he threw himself off his unnamed horse and seized his sword and shield from the side of the saddle. His arm slipped through the straps on the steel kite easily enough, and he turned as gracefully as he could towards the nearest bandit, who'd gotten a lot closer in that brief instant than Adrian was quite ready for. He noted that the man was swinging a mace and braced himself for the strike. It clanged against the shield like a gong, making Adrian's arm go numb as his sword lashed out. The sound of tearing cloth indicated a hit, but the lack of blood on his blade said otherwise. A close dodge, but still a dodge. "Damn." Adrian fell back towards the main press of the camp, spotting Salem by virtue of a lightning strike. The momentary distraction allowed a bandit arrow to slip through his guard and strike him in the shoulder.

His arm felt like it was filled with fire as he posted his sword to snap the shaft of the arrow off. He let out a choked scream as the sudden motion aggravated the arrowhead, but he'd deal with that later. Moving his shield arm hurt even more now, but he'd push through it as well as he could. More bandits captured Salem before Adrian could reach the feline, and the cold press of a knife at his own throat stopped his motion. "Drop the blade," a deep voice rumbled in his ear.

"Blood and bloody ashes." He grumbled, complying even as he craned his head slightly to try and get a look at the man who held him captive. The knife left his skin as the hand holding it shifted, the bandit twining his fingers through Adrian's hair for a better grip, and Adrian moved. He grabbed the wrist of his captor, leaning forward and rolling the slightly taller man over his shoulders while applying pressure to his wrist. As planned, the bandit's hand seized and dropped the knife, but Adrian fumbled the catch and the blade fell to the ground. As if to make it worse, a sudden pain bloomed in the back of his left leg, forcing him to the ground. He saw the glint of a blood-coated arrowhead in the front of his leg as the first assailant retrieved his knife and placed his booted foot on Adrian's back, shoving him fully to the ground.

Sacrifice

Maren and Elyra were watching as Gun'tar ran with William and Salem was with Malcolm who had been stabbed. They split up Maren ran to William as he was closer to her. She gave him her hands on his back and she told him "Take my energy as much as you need William. If you die we all die." She dragged him into the trees nearest them.

Elyra had to dodge arrows and she saw Jamie covering them so she had to tackle Salem's attackers on their blind side, knocking them off balance and giving Salem a chance to fight. Malcolm was in bad shape with a stab in the chest. "Malcolm, Can you hear me? Give me your wound or at least enough to keep you alive. Salem help me get him into the bushes out of the way." Elyra said to him as she started dragging Malcolm. She only had a few things on her.

"Please give me the strength and knowledge to do what he needs from me." Elyra tore open his shirt and located the ribs and determined that he was lucky. It missed the heart and the lungs, it was higher up. She tore her skirt, what was left of it and she took the knife out of his shoulder and filled the wound with the cleanest part of her skirt she pushed the dressing onto the hole and then she took one of the leather ties off of her cloak and tied the longer pieces closed around his chest and shoulder.

Elyra ducked and pulled him into the forest more since he was still visible. "Malcolm don't you dare die on me." Elyra had to get to the caravan. She needed her supplies. She covered him with part of a bush she found nearby. "I'll be back!" Elyra said darting around the camp til she got to her bag in the travois.

Grabbing it she ran back to Malcolm. Undoing the wrap she took the skirt pieces out and she poured alcohol onto the wound and all around it and her hands. Carefully she checked the inside of the wound and she applied something to the inside of the wound and then she sewed it up quickly and covered it to protect it.

Elyra covered him back up and she looked out to where she had seen Maren and William and she followed the drag marks. When she got there she found that William had been shot with an arrow in the chest. She told Maren where Malcolm was and told her to go protect him and stay out of sight. Elyra looked at the wound and turned William on his side so she could determine which way was the best to get this thing out of him.

Elyra realized that she could break the head off and then pull it back out of his chest. That way she could keep the grooves on the back end from making his wound worse. She had trouble getting the arrowhead off. The elf noticed that it was forged with a metal tip on the end. Shoving her hair out of the way so she could see, she finally got the end off and pulled the arrow out of him. Then it was a alcohol bath for the wound and more of the antibiotic on the inside and then she dressed it. William was not doing well. Once the arrow was out his body started draining her automatically. It was a defensive mechanism in his body. Elyra was getting woozy and she fell across William as her life force drained from her.

Aelar Thainar

Everything happened too quickly. Aelar had almost immediately been surrounded by three bandits two humans and an elf. He drew his sword and cast Nature Sense allowing him to get a better sense of the battlefield especially the movements of the bandits near him. Dodging a lunge towards his throat he charged the bandit to his left. The man was armed with two short daggers and slashed them towards his chest, dodging one the other left a wound on his left shoulder as he pierced the man's throat with his sword. The elf kicked him in the back and Aelar used that force to propel himself towards Maren and Malcolm. "Let me heal you two." He said as he cast Rejuvenation twice though it only guaranteed Malcolm wouldn't bleed out. Looking around he noticed the other half-elf in the party fighting his way over. He was using his shield for both attack and defense slashing its sharp edges at any bandit who got close enough. A Gargantu armed with a war axe was barreling in his direction. "Maren bring Malcolm to cover, I'll return as soon as I can." he said, dashing towards the Gargantu fighter.

Thainar noticed the Gargantu charging him, glad he had recently reforged his shield and armor. As the Gargantu reached him it slashed downwards at his head, in response he lifted his shield and bent his knees angleing it to direct most of the force towards the ground. He grunted and was knocked back by the brutes sheer strength barely remaining on his feet. It was at this moment that he noticed Aelar running up behind the behemoth. "Aim for the neck!" He yells as he bashes his shield into the Gargantu's knee. Aelar hearing his shout jumped up and slashed at the back of its throat, barely managing to slice halfway through. "We have to get to the others." he says as he lands and begins to run back towards Maren. "On your heels." Thainar responds as he follows.

James

@Shadow Daedalus

The sound of battle nearby drew James from his thoughts as he sat against a tree, his head turning sharply towards the encampment. He was on his feet and running within seconds, his swords out as he weaved closer to the horde of bandits. He didn't stop as he ran, slashing at bandits as he passed them. He could see his companions locked in combat through the trees, and he pushed himself faster, kicking down a human bandit that stepped in his path as he spun on his heel and nearly bisected him. Maren darted across his vision, and he altered his path to intercept her. He slid to a stop near her as she tried to keep herself hidden, and crouched down to her level. "Maren, are you ok? Where's Elyra?"

Maren looked up, "James, I'm glad to see you. Elyra was treating our wounded and she told me to guard Malcolm and she went to work on William. I have been fighting to keep him safe but I've yelled for her several times and she isn't answering. I can't leave him he is not well enough. She should be through there with William. Maren pointed into the woods about 35 feet away. I have to get back! Good luck! Maren darted back to Malcolm.

He nodded wordlessly at the elven girl before bolting in that direction, his eyes constantly searching for any sign of Elyra or William. It didn't take him long to find them, but what he saw worried him. He slipped his swords back into their sheathes as he called out her name, but he received no response. As he went to move her, his hand fell against William's and a cold, almost nauseous feeling briefly washed over him. Taking note of this feeling and Elyra's position, he quickly made the connection and gently pulled the girl from on top of the mage.

He quickly gauged William's wounds, seemingly minor to what he had expected, before turning his attention back on Elyra. He gently shook her before stopping to check her breathing. It was soft, but it was definitely still there. "Come on, Elyra. Wake up, wake up..." he softly growled to himself as he gently slapped her face, trying to get a reaction.

Elyra was in this other place in her mind and she knew what was going on around her to a degree. Her conscious knew that someone was holding her and that she recognized the voice. She did not have enough strength yet to wake up fully. She was struggling and it felt like she was swimming in concrete. She recognized that her legs hurt. She remembered the fire and Malcolm and William. As she started to break through to waking up she heard James' voice. She just kept trying to lock onto his voice and soon her eyes fluttered open. She whispered and she was too weak to sit or stand on her own. She wrapped an arm around him slowly.

"James? " Her memory was a little foggy but she looked to William and she could see that he was doing much better. "I forgot about William's draining power. Are you hurt? Where's Maren?" Her speech was a little slurred and she leaned her head on his chest.

As she spoke, James released a breath he hadn't realized he was holding as he whispered to himself. "Oh, thank god..." He raised his voice again, this time to speak to Elyra as he adjusted his arm to support her better. "I'm fine. Maren is over with Malcolm, she told me where you were." A quick movement of his head gave a general direction. "What about you, can you move?"

"I think so." The longer she was awake the more strength she got back. "Can you get Maren and Malcolm and bring them here?"She is in a tougher place to defend. She is more exposed there." Elyra was trying to keep her eyes open. She reached over and grabbed her medical bag and pulled it to herself. She pulled a jar out and opened it and breathed it in heavily. It had a very heavy odor but it would wake you up. Closing it she was now much more awake and she reached over and kissed him tenderly.

James held the kiss for a second before he broke off and gently placed his hand on her cheek with a soft smile. "I'll be back shortly..." he stood up and began to backtrack to Maren and Malcolm, hiding within the shrubbery. He approached quietly, to avoid any bandits noticing, and tapped Maren on the arm, placing a finger to his lips before whispering to her. "Maren, Elyra wanted to regroup. How's Malcolm doing? Would it be safe to move him?" He glanced at the man in question, more specifically the wound on his chest. He didn't want to risk moving him if he couldn't take it.

Maren nodded."Yes, his wounds were much less severe than Williams were. She got to her feet and pulled her bow while James carried him. She saw that Salem was still fighting too and that Aelar was engaged in a fight as well. "Come on!It's clear. Maren lead the way and took out a gargantu with her arrows. She got to Elyra and hugged her. She checked on William and smiled. She helped him put Malcolm down.

"James, Please be safe. " Elyra was glad he had found them but they had no idea where these bandits came from. She still felt groggy but Maren would look out for her.

He nodded with a small smile, before he stood to his full height and drew both of his swords. He activated the enchantments on his sword and gauntlet, teal flames cloaking his right hand sword and lightning dancing across the left, as he glanced over his shoulder at Elyra. "I'll try. Now, you're not gonna want to see this..."

Turning back to the battle a short distance away, he bolted straight towards the first bandit he saw. Crossing the distance in a matter of seconds, he stabbed the blade of one sword though his rib cage before tearing it out and severing the arm of a second bandit with his other sword. The lightning on the blade caused his muscles to seize up, allowing James to slash at his neck and decapitate the bandit. The commotion drew the attention of more bandits, including a lumbering gargantu with a vicious looking mace in both hands. James bolted forwards to meet the next bandit head-on, crossing his swords and catching the bandit's nasty-looking short sword before planting his foot into his chest and knocking him off-balance before using both swords to slash across his chest. As he was recovering from the strike, another bandit went to hack at James with a war-axe. He narrowly avoided it by throwing himself backwards and rolling back onto his feet in time to sink one of his swords though the man's stomach before he raked it up his torso, tearing out the man's shoulder.

A dagger-wielding bandit's charge was met by a powerful kick that knocked him stumbling into one of his allies, and James utilized the opportunity to run his two blades though both of them. The gargantu swung one of his maces at James, who scrambled back in time to feel the wind of it brush his face before he sprinted forwards and slid between the gargantu's legs, slashing at them as he hid. The gargantu fell to one knee and James used the opportunity to vault over his back, impaling his off-hand sword though the back of his skull. As he landed, he ripped the blade out and spun in time to claim the head of one bandit and ruin the eye of another. His screaming in pain was cut short by the sword impaled into his throat. Hearing movement behind him, he turned in time to see a bandit edge closer to where Elyra and the others were.

Acting on instinct, he ran towards him and kicked him into a tree before ramming the blades of both swords through him and pulling them apart, splitting the bandit in half. An arrow sailed past his ear, burying itself into the eye of a man sneaking up behind him, and James nodded to Maren, who still had her bow in her hand.

She smiled."Not bad for a princess huh? " She grinned. "Glad to see you safe and sound. She is getting better and so are William and Malcolm." Elyra walked over to him slowly and wrapped her arms around him for a moment before she kissed him.

Elise & Vladimir

"Vlad?" Elise called out as she sat up, confusion still evident in her voice and face. But as an arrow whizzed past and barely missed her cheek, she jumped to her feet.

"I need you focused, Elise. I need you to get yourself to safety," came Vlad's tensed voice as he blocked off more arrows that came from the trees. "Here they come," he said just as swordsmen came charging at him. He slashed at them with his twin swords and brought several of them down.

Elise's confusion faded. She no longer thought of unfamiliar memories, strange faces, a forgotten name and long lost lovers. A blank, emotionless look settled over her face as she stared at the trees. She had no idea how many archers were there but she focused her mind to as much as she can reach. Immediately, the arrows began changing directions towards the swordsmen that were now pouring towards them. But Vladimir didn't seem like he was tiring as he continuously swung his sword around. Even when an arrow tip opened a wound on his cheek and another found its mark on his leg. He merely brushed them off and continued to face the sudden onslaught.

An arrow sheathed itself into Elise's shoulder even as most of them were directed to the men that were locked in a sword battle with the Templar. She made a soft sound of pain as she struggled backwards both by the weight of the spell that was slowly draining her of her life energy and from the arrow on her shoulder. Vladimir glanced towards her and roared out in fury. A mighty swing of his sword cleaved off three heads. "Elise, don't. There's too many of them." A dagger flew through the air aimed for Elise's head. Vladimir turned and blocked it with a sword. The momentary distraction was enough to give the enemy a slight upper hand. But his movements left him open and a sword came down on him from the back. The Templar fell down on his knees, a surprised look on his face as his blood splattered on the ground.

"No!" Elise immediately released her hold on the minds of the archers. Trying to control several at a time was not enough to completely alter their minds and the effect was only momentary. It only took several minutes before arrows began raining from the trees again. Everything seemed to move in slow motion. Another arrow sheathed itself in Elise's shoulder right beside the first one. Another one hit its mark on her abdomen. She staggered forward just in time to reach Vladimir.

"No. My wound is not fatal Elise. Save your strength for yourself," a panicked look was in his eyes when he realized that Elise meant to heal him even in her weakened and injured state. But he was too late as he saw her lips move to form the spell. He felt instantaneous relief from the pain. And then Elise fell down onto the ground, exhausted, unconscious and bleeding.

"Heh. You're immortal when your little girlfriend is with you, huh?" a hoarse voice said as the cold tip of a blade rested dangerously close to Vladimir's jugular. "I sincerely hope she's not dead. To your feet." the voice ordered.

One of the bandits stepped forward and lifted Elise's limp body in his arms.

A few minutes later, Vladimir was led to the others who were similarly injured. He was pushed to the ground while Elise's unconscious body was unceremoniously dumped by his side. Vladimir, still held at blade point, could only glance at Elise. But he was able to breathe a sigh of relief when he noted that Elise had managed to at least heal a bit of herself even though the arrows were still jutting out of her body. Her breathing was fast and shallow but she was still alive.

When the battle had started, Isolde was far from the encampment, wanting some peace from the barbaric warriors that she traveled with. Yet nonetheless, she heard screams and the whoosh of arrows. When she registered the sound as battle, she silently drew her double-bladed katanas, in favor to her heavy crossbow. She began running, and she wasn't the best at stealth. Suddenly, an arrow whooshed past her, narrowly missing her heart as it struck her chest. Blood soaked her white, twin tail armor, red like roses. She gasped at the pain, feeling a bit dizzy. Everything felt like it was in slow motion. One of the bandits rushed at her with his sword, and despite her injury, she easily killed him. By this point, she felt increasingly dizzy, the world coming to her in a milky white sensation, blurry and fading. Two other bandits came at her, running at her very quickly. Or, maybe it was just quickly to her. Again, she felt slow, like a slug, but with brilliant hair.Actually, paralyzed. She couldn't move a muscle, and she had fallen back onto the tree. The bandit lifted her onto his shoulder, carried her to the encampment, and dumped her onto the grass. She found it impossible to move, her muscles not responding to her commands. She vaguely registered that the arrow must have been poisoned. She lightly sighed, and everything went dark.

Romarod

As the magi gargantu was on his hands and knees, trying to get his barings from the clubbing punch he received to the side of his head while still in acceleration, Romarod struggled to stand. Two of the non-magi gargantu were looking to take this younger one down as the gargantu with the warhammer walked up and the barehanded gargantu went to pick Romarod up to make him stand. They were attempting to stand him up in order to knock his head off with the mighty swing of the hammer but....their mindless savagery could be their weak point.

Romarod was still hurt, bleeding from his mouth but played like he was still out of it when the hammer gargantu came up, pulled back with his hammer, taking a good strong swing as Romarod took this opportunity to duck out of the way, allowing the hammer to hit the barehanded gargantu on the shoulder, causing a popping sound to be made, dislocating his should. Falling to his knees in pain, The gargantu held his shoulder while the still ducking Romarod, went for his spell. Thrusting both of his palms forward towards the midsection of the hammer gargantu, using his Force Palm spell which.

Two hands were usually better than one as the devastating kinetic force sent the barbaric hammer gargantu flying back several meters and continued sliding a few more upon hitting the ground. Romarod didn't know if that was enough to stop him but he couldn't think about that now as the barehanded gargantu stood once more and rushed at him, drawing up his fist to go for a haymaker. He still had one good arm but the moment he threw it, a crack along with a spill of blood sounded from the bone ripping through flesh as a result from the colliding of a power fist and a strong force releasing palm in which the impact of the collision effected the non-magi gargantu in a negative way.

The gargantu roared in more pain, losing the use of another arm. Not bad for his first battle, picking up a boulder, throwing it at the gravely injured brute, knocking him out.

Things seemed to be going well until a painful grunt came from Romarod when 2 arrows embedded into is back, getting shot from behind. He looked over to notice two more bandits before they moved on noticing something. Movement was made from the corner of Romarod's eye when the hammer wielding gargantu staggered back up, coughing up blood from the major damage he took in the midsection. Romarod couldn't reach the arrows on his back but he needed to do something quick. Breathing heavy from usage of his spells and not eating much before all of this, he needed to think carefully of what to do next, otherwise, this fight will be over for him soon.

Romarod , William , Elise , Salem , Vladimir , Gun'Tar , Malcolm and Isolde

Romarod was in pain, despite stopping one of the enemy Gargantu, the arrows that he was hit with were deep in his back but missed his vitals. The hammer wielding Gargantu, although injured, headed towards Romarod, still with killing intent and unwilling to stop unless killed. The bandits that shot him, originally were leaving but when they noticed Romarod still trying to get up, they pointed their arrows at him again. He was ready for more but he wasn't ready for a sharp pain that came upon his thigh when another Gargantu threw a spear into his thigh and the hammer using Gargantu kicked the side of Romarod's head, nearly knocking him out. The spear using Gargantu came over and dragged him towards the others. Hurt and dazed, Romarod lazily looked around while on his back, trying to sit up.

William was dazed and barely alive when he felt a surge of life force enter him. It was enough to keep him alive but as he opened his eyes, he could only see black and then he fell back to an unconscious state.

Gun'Tar left William with the others and went to fight on his own against the unending tide of enemies.
As he went out of the woods, a big Gargantu appeared in front of him. The Gargantu didn't have an eye but had a black patch with an eye painted on it. Gun'Tar laughed at him and charged into combat.
The Gargantu grinned and yelled at the other bandits.
" No one interferes ! The big guy is mine. "
Gun'Tar put up his war hammer to prepare a big hit on one of the other Gargantu's knee caps. The other Gargantu's weapon was a crude broadsword, clearly made by a mediocre blacksmith at best but it was enough to do the job.
As Gun'Tar was about to hit him with the war hammer, the bandit leader simply dodged and hit Gun'Tar in the back with his sword, impaling Gun'Tar. The sword went from one side on his chest to the other. Gun'Tar fell on his knees and spit some blood but he couldn't do anything as he fell to the ground when the bandit leader removed the sword from his back and hit him with his foot, sending Gun'Tar sprawling on the floor. Blood already pouring out of the wound and making the grass red around him.

A surge of pain soon started to hit all the others as Gun'Tar close-to-death state activated the bombs in all of them.

After a little bit, Isolde opened her eyes. Everything was still swimming before her, though she could still see a bit of surroundings. She was lying on the forest floor, immobilized and she saw some of her companions around her. The ones that were still standing were at sword point, and a few (like her) were on the ground. She felt dazed, and lightheaded. She attempted to move her leg, but found that it brought her pain to even try to move it. She recognized the scent of blood, and realized that she was lying in a pool of it. Unlike some of her recent lying-down-in-a-pool-of-bloods, it was hers. She recognized the scent as it rushed from her wound, pooling around her. She sighed, closing her eyes yet again.

Vladimir, being the only one uninjured among those who were captured, could only watch helplessly as Gun'Tar took on another Gargantu. His mind began plotting about how he could escape his captor when he heard a sharp intake of breath.

Elise eyes snapped open as pain ran through her. Her breathing was harsh as she struggled to sit up but her injuries prevented her from doing so, particularly the arrow that was still lodged in her abdomen. Blood began to ooze out of it once more from her sudden movement. Vladimir turned his head towards the mage, the sword held to his neck drawing blood as he moved against it. A similar surge of pain ran through him as it did Elise. He ignored it, as well as the pain on his neck as he quickly assessed Elise's injuries. The shoulder wounds were nothing to be worried about. But the arrow to her abdomen was... "Elise!" he exclaimed when the mage fell back into unconsciousness, the ground turning red with her blood. He looked around and his eyes fell on the fallen Gun'Tar, his blood spilling onto the ground just as Elise's was. He gritted his teeth. It was a hopeless situation. Elise saved him from his injuries but she was dying. Even if he could save her, if Gun'Tar died then all of them would lose their lives as well.

Salem did not follow the elf when she moved away with Malcolm. He instead launched himself into a tree and concealed himself. He saw the bandits surrounding them...he saw Malcolm slowly starting to move. The man's eyes still glowing from the amount of life force he had. The man slowly raised his hand and did a motion causing Salem to launch from the tree. He got behind one bandit and slit their throat with his claws before launching like a deranged mad cat at another bandit....this time tearing with his teeth.

Salem was in no way a small cat...but the numbers of the bandits soon overwhelmed him and they had him by the scruff...which would be akin to grabbing by the hair. He struggled hissing and spitting the whole time until his eyes widened. Blood poured from his abdomen as a bandit pulled away a knife. They then threw him with the others...Malcolm scooting next to Salem. He could take his friends wound....but he was fairly certain the pairing of his own wound and Salem's would kill him even with the excess life force.

Malcolm was about to take Salem's wound when he felt the pain surge. His vision blurred and he flinched. The pain was too much to concentrate and he was certain Salem's wound was not helping with that surge. He tried to look around to see who was dying, but when he moved his head the world swayed.

The Bandit leader grinned as Gun'Tar fell to the ground and approached the other prisoners with a wicked smile on his face. He looked at them, checking for injuries and frowned.
" I said. I wanted them ALIVE ! Not injured like this ! What am I supposed to do with them ? " yelled the leader.

An elven bandit approached the leader and bowed his head and with a trembling voice said " We...we're sorry Black Eye. We are sorry. Some of them are Magi. We couldn't...do anything. They fought too hard. "

Black Eye's eye widen as he heard that Magi are free but as he was about to turn to the prisoners, he swung his sword at the elven bandit's head and it chopped it right off. " That's what happens to those that disobey my orders. " he then turned to the prisoners and said " So...escaped Magi. Good. You shall fetch a nice price. I'm sure the Templars have a bounty on your heads already. As for the others...well...I don't think I can use you.
As my people said, you fought hard. I don't think you can be sold but...I'll take the women.
" laughed Black Eye. " Keep the women and the Magi alive and kill the others. They are useless. Pick clean everything from this caravan and then burn everything to the ground. Make sure you remove the tracks... this time . We don't want Templars finding us. "

As Black Eye turned, a sharp yell was heard coming from the forest where the archers were hidden. " Everyone ! Weapons at the ready ! It looks like you haven't caught everyone. "
A big shadow rose from ground right near Black Eye and killed the bandits that surrounded the group with a sharp move of what looked like a claw. Moving away faster than possible as Black Eye turned and swung his sword at the place where the shadow was.
Everywhere almost at once, bandits were getting killed and soon almost everywhere there were blood, guts and body parts on the ground.
Black Eye fear could be seen in his eyes as his people were getting killed by something he couldn't see.
" Show yourself and fight me like a man ! " yelled Black Eye, his hands "strangling" the hilt of his sword.

The shadow materialized a few meters away from him and looked exactly like the shady man that visited the others a few nights ago.
A dark voice could be heard from almost everywhere at once but the face of the shady man was as always hidden in shadow.

" You...called ? "

Black Eye charged at the shady man but the shady man simply moved through him. A part of the shadows that enveloped him, staying behind on Black Eye.
He tried to cut away at the shadows but they simply got bigger and bigger until finally enveloped him completely. Black Eye started to levitate and was moved in front of the others.

" I told you to leave sooner and now you forced my hand. " the shady man's voice was as before. Dark and coming from everywhere at once.
The shadows that enveloped Black Eye started to shrink and his yells of pain could be heard 'till the only sound that could be heard was *crunch* as all of his bones snapped in the same time.

The shady man moved his hands and a bright light appeared above him. The light moved from prisoner to prisoner, healing everyone's wounds as it passed through each of them.

" Don't. Make. Me. Interfere. Again. " said the shady man before he finally disappeared in the shadows.

The arrows that had pierced Elise's body fell away as the wounds closed. It was as though she was never injured. She sat up and Vladimir, freed from the sword point, immediately gathered her to him like a delicate doll. He had been protecting her too long that he had already looked at her as family. And being helpless while she was in the brink of death made him realize that. He sighed in relief when she turned her blue eyes towards him. "You scared me half to death. I thought you were gonna die," he said.

Elise looked down at herself, wondering what had happened and why she was no longer injured. "Were you worried that you were gonna die if I died?" she asked in her detached voice.

The question should have offended Vladimir but he laughed it off, truly relieved that the mage was out of danger and back to her old self. He shook his head and looked towards the place where the shady man had stood only a few minutes ago. "And now, we owe that man our lives," he said.

Romarod was not really aware of all that was happening as he was too focused on his injuries that he's never really felt before. The exhaustion, the beating, this was a bit new. Well...of this caliber. When he noticed the arrows that was on his back, falling and the pain was fading away along with the deep and heavy wound on his thigh from the spear and the internal pain he had, subsiding, Romarod was feeling confused. Sitting up, looking at his thigh that healed and looking around at his comrades who were starting to heal as well, he looked to notice the bandits were defeated around them.

What....what is this? he said curiously. Another Magi? he questioned before standing, and scanning the massacre around them.

Gun'Tar was just about to close his eyes for good when he felt his wound closing. He couldn't understand what happened and as he tried to rise from the ground and fell back to the ground with a load *thud*. The blood he lost was enough to keep him unconscious for some time.

William was still unconscious right until the end.

Malcolm and Salem both slowly stood. Malcolm rolled his eyes at the shady man as he disappeared.
"Maybe dont be so damn cryptic with your answers then" Salem snorted. The two looked around and then looked at each other before Malcolm shook his head.
"Dont do that again"
"Do what?"
"Almost die on me" Salem rolled his eyes and the two started to try to find the rest of the group.

Isolde woke up again, but this time, everything was swirling before her in a new sense. It was tough to breathe, and even when she did manage to her breath was raspy. Her limbs still wouldn't reply to her commands. The pain was too much to bear, and her chest was throbbing. Much to her confusement, the wound was starting to heal up, but it wouldn't regain the blood she had lost, nor the paralysis. She fell back into the deep, dangerous sleep.

Elyra

Maren

Elyra and Maren stayed together out of sight and something happened and Elyra was fully whole again and she saw James' injuries healing themselves. Something bizarre was going on and she had no idea what it was. Maren was hoping that if it was happening to them that Aelar was tip top too. She peaked around the corner and saw that it was happening to everyone of their people. She pointed out at the camp and Elyra walked out into the open staying close to James.

"What is going on?" She said to no one in particular. Maren came out bow in hand and looked around cautiously. "I have no idea."

Jamie

@DustyOldCrow@canaryrose@Vas Khaleen@Kyrisse@Venku@King Tai@Gareth@Wick@dabombjk@BlackPanther@Ashevelendar@Shadow Daedalus

As things seemed to happen, Jamie merely tried to keep anymore bandits from coming close to them, but it seemed like there were just too many bandits. Cursing, she merely tried to stay close to Darius, not worried that he still couldn't fight, but worried about the growing pain in her chest. is this what a heart attack feels like? she wondered, as they were overwhelmed. Jamie just about refused to let herself be unarmed, and she snarled, down to her knife and sword, she would fight to the very end-if someone was dying anyway, she might as well take down as many bandits as she could, before they all went boom.

And then it seemed like...something happened. Was that the figure from before, from the hotel? She didn't know. Things seemed to happen so fast, and then...she could feel her injuries from the last few days, from the current fight, healing, and she looked down at her arm, the slash from the arrow wound, now open from a new cut, heal. She looked over to Darius, the pain in her chest receeding as it seemed they were all healing, and she let out a relieved breath.

They were okay. For now. She glanced away, a little ashamed of herself. Close combat fighting agaisnt more then one person had always been a weakness for Jamie, and that had very nearly got Darius killed. Got them all killed. She couldn't allow that to happen, not again. She swallowed, "I'm sorry. You shouldn't have to worry about me in a fight." She said softly, She looked aware but at Darius, looking over at the damaged camp, over the group, but it seemed that apart from being shaken, or tired, that everyone was okay.

Aelar Thainar

After seeing all the bandits drop dead and then that their wounds were healed, the two half-elves exchanged a glance before splitting up. Aelar headed towards Maren and Elyra as he thought about what just happened. It seemed that someone was behind the scenes both guiding and protecting them. As he walked up he was relieved to see that they were visibly ok. Walking up to Maren he put his arms around her saying,"Are you ok? I was so worried..."

Thainar headed towards the rest of the group noticing everyone seemed to be all right aside from some people being unconscious. He noticed Vladimir and Elise were among the people who had been caught in the encirclement. Seeing that there wasn't much he could do to help, he began to inspect his weapon and armor while looking out for more attackers.

Darius Montgomery/The Shadow

Darius, injured but alive, fought unexpectedly for an injured man. He fought calmly and with patience. He had his left hand holding his side where the arrow had pierced him, and his right hand holding one of his daggers. Jamie was there backing him up, but at the moment he wish she would dissapear. He knew that it wasnt her fault but he had been in so many fights, so many battles, and not once had he ever recieved an injury of this caliber. Darius assumed this would take some time to heal. In his mind, he could not help but think thats what he gets for not looking out for himself primarily.

Darius faced countless more bandits with his blade alone, ducking and weaving around arrows being shot at him while engaging in swordplay one on one. At one point a bandit even managed to disarm him, locking blades with him then striking at his arrow wound. After that Darius had only his knives and fist to back him up. He struck the bandit who disarmed him in the throat with a quick jab, then jabbed at his gut, maneuvered around him, then reached out and wrapped an arm around the mans neck. He used all this muscle, and pulled back snapping the mans neck.

Darius moved back behind Jamie and continued to fight, picking up his dagger. At one point he even placed it in his mouth and wielded the second dagger in his hand. It was an old fighting style, fighting with dagger in hand and mouth, and unless you did not have both hands it would be quite inneffective.

Suddenly his attention was brought back from full battle mode to focused when the remaining bandits either ran away or dropped dead and their wounds began to heal. Darius looked down at his wound, and when he realized what was happening he yanked the arrow out, blocking a sharp muffle of sound of pain from escaping his lips. His wound started to bleed profusely, then not at all, then began to close up. Darius sat down trying to catch his breath, and collected his self. He examined himself and accounted for all his equipment. Then he turned his looking for Jamie.

It seemed that Darius hadn't heard her, and maybe that was a good thing. Or not. She didn't know. Maybe didn't want to know. She didn't want to know if he blamed her or not. Didn't want to have to go through that. Didn't want to have to fight for every little inch again. But she knew if she was a better fighter...He wouldn't have to worry about her. Even as she heard Darius moving, she didn't look back, not wanting to see his face, and know that she was right, that this was over.

She knelt, and picked up one of her arrows, knowing that she should try and find what ones could be salvaged, but finding a surprising lack of motivation to do so. She could make more. She had her sword, dagger and knife. That was all that matter to her. She clutched the arrow tightly, bowing her head. Just do it. Better to know, then to suffer wondering.

"I'm sorry" She said again, sure he could hear this time, "You shouldn't have to worry about me in a fight" She rose, still holding the arrow, and drawing in a breath, she turned to face Darius. She wanted to kiss him. To simply feel the beat of his heart, and know that he was truly okay. She knew that that probably wouldn't be something he'd want, at least for his assassian image.

Oh, fuck it.

Jamie closed the distance, moving fast despite her exhaustion, and kissing him deeply, fully, Almost like nothing she'd ever done before, just thankful they were alive. That he was. She didn't care if the whole camp saw the different way she kissed him, not taunting him, but tender. Caring. Loving. She broke away after what seemed like an eternity. "Yeah. Still alive." She let out a breath, and went to step away, knowing she should collect what arrows she could. She only had a limited supply of arrow heads.

James Blackwall

Following behind the Elven ladies, James stepped into the clearing and immediately took note of the situation of the others. Evidence of battle was scattered liberally around the area, and some of the more severe wounds were still closing by themselves. He could feel the scratches and cuts doing the same across his own skin, and as he stepped closer to the centre of the camp he slid his swords back into their sheaths and began to look around the camp.

Aelar approached to embrace Maren and James watched them with a small smile before he turned his head back to the camp. They seemed drawn to the two last arrivals to the group, more specifically. James stared at Vlad for several seconds, contemplating asking him what he wanted to know, before he shook his head and pushed the thought away. They'd just come out a bandit attack, they deserved a second to take it easy... or at least as easy as they could while stuck on what could very well be a suicide mission.

His eyes finally focussed on the unmoving form of the youngest member of the group. Frowning and a little worried, he watched Isolde for a few moments as she didn't react before he crossed over to her with long strides. He knelt beside her as he pressed two fingers against her neck. He could still feel a pulse, but the fact her wasn't making a sound gave him cause for concern. Looking towards Elyra, he called for the nurse.

"Elyra! Can I have some help please?"

Elyra

Elyra came running with her bag. "I'm here." She looked at the pool of blood and turned her over and looked at the clothing to see where the wounds were at. There was a lot of blood and Elyra took her pulse and determined that she was suffering from blood loss. Elyra looked up at James, "I need a mage who can remove blood loss is the only things that she is showing signs of."

"I need William or Malcolm."
