Oh absolutely. I think it's a definite change to the Pokémon formula and I'm glad to see them trying new things. I think part of why I don't like the things I do has to do with my own age and rose colored glasses I look back on the previous games with. I still feel like ORAS was the best game, if only because of how they managed to make an old game feel new all over again, along with game play updates that only improved the title as a whole.

But will I still play Sun and Moon until my fingers go numb? You better believe it.

haha no worries i am not actually dying. just. wallowing in depression. school is winding down and i have so much due. so of course i just burrow deeper into myself instead of actually doing shit about my problems. have not self-harmed again tho! came real damn close but still holding strong.

@c3p-0h Aw, I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm going through the same/similar thing (mentally). I just want to retreat further and further away. I want to keep from others, and ultimately, myself.
But I wouldn't worry too much about school. It seems like, now-a-days, as long as you do it along the general guidelines, it's good enough (but it depends if you're seeking good grades (if they still do grades where you are, that is)).
Honestly, I could rant about how education is generally failed, but I don't know if you're American or going to school in America, so I'll save that for myself. xP

i'm from hawaii which is like half america? lol. technically america. and yeah i know the education system in general is shit, but like. i'm at a community college and i need a certain gpa to transfer to the state college. a gpa that i don't currently have because i've been stuck in this cycle of not getting off my ass for years which makes me feel like shit. i think i might have undiagnosed ADD which would explain a bunch of shit? like i read accounts of people who got diagnosed with it later in life and it reads a lot like my own experience. but also like, i know there's a lot of pitfalls and bullshit with trying to self-diagnose when you're not a medical professional and you're just reading shit you see online. blaahhhhhhhhh.

sorry i don't mean to just dump all this here. i am just rolling around in my own issues.

Hey, sometimes it helps just to know people are listening! I kinda wonder if some kind of depression isn't necessary for people to want to write. I know I'm fighting with it myself too, so you aren't alone. Just know that at the end of all that work is a reward that's definitely worth it though.

@c3p-0h ADD can simply be a "symptom" of Depression, as well. Unable to focus, lethargy, racing thoughts, etc. I guess it depends what kinds of thoughts/actions are disrupting your productivity, however. I'm also not a psychologist, so there's that.

Do you know if there's any kind of free tutoring system at the college? If so, I know it helped me in High School to feel obligated to keep on top of studies and work on the issues I was having. Just a suggestion, though. I don't expect you to go asking about it tomorrow (but there's no time like now, huh?).

And don't worry about unloading onto strangers on the internet. I'll make sure to overreact when you say something that triggers me. xP
