Now it is time for what we all have been waiting for. Character creation!

I remember the last time being very difficult. If i remember, I went the Medic route and she used a whip. I probably won't be going that route this time, though I may be going the healing route.

I will probably either go Blue and Green or Blue and Black, maybe even White and Black for this one and I like the idea of playing a Sniper type character. Possibly kind of like Ana from Overwatch.

It will depend though. I will get to work

@Rockette so since this RP is a sci-fi fantasy, I'm guessing its setting is a mix of super cities, guns, and magic?

In other news, I've yet to make a beserker character before. Will try that, most likely.

@vietmyke - More or less. You can compare the settings to various installments of Final Fantasy and the like. If that helps.

How does SOLDIER recruit? Volunteer basis? What would we be told we are signing up for? Asking because I'm trying to figure out motivations for joining.

@Noxious - Good question.

They employ various methods. The most common is plying through the basic military for potential recruits, or drafting inviduals they think can withstand the introduction. They're only told the basics: that they will be helping the Govern. The candidates are selected carefully or noticed by something of their past that gives them some certain attention. It all bases in their origin I guess. The rich buy their ways in, wanting that power. The poor sometimes volunteer themselves so they can be of some value. Some are just.. "volunteered." There's quite a bit to work with.

I would also like to know the current advancement of technology and 3d printing...

It'll probably get shot down, but the idea streaked through my mind of a cyborg beserker with cybernetic limbs and essentially advanced 3d printers in the sockets, allowing him to essentially rip off useless/damaged limbs and re-print a new one in the field (it would also fit the idea of taking 200% more damage as the beserker core states). Also the idea of him ripping off his damaged arm and using it to batter someone was quite entertaining.

Should that idea not fly, I have more reserved and down to earth concepts in mind as well.

Added question, and I'm sure everyone else is wondering as well [;)], if I conceivably stick with empathy and manipulation as some of my aeon traits could my character conceivably be a drug or alcohol abuser? Not going to make or break me, I'm still just throwing stuff around in my brain.

@vietmyke - While I applaud your creativity, the concept is a bit outlandish. However, I recommend cybernetics imported from Palamecia, which is conceivable in terms of their vast resources to create weapons and the like. I would think the concept of cyber implants still within infant status, due to the previous concentration of employing science towards biological enhancement to SOLDIER. Another thing to consider, that with these machine embellishments, it might cause an inner warfare with the binding to the Aeon. It could provide interesting conflict to the character, if you choose this route.

@Noxious - Yes. I like broken-ish concepts.

My character is completed, if it'll help, to see a finalized SOLDIER.
Can't wait to see what everyone has.

I've always forgotten about trivia sections, but always add them last minute. Is this something you guys would like to see in the character creation process?

@Rockette I think Trivia is a bit of fluff that doesn't hurt the creation process. Adds some spice to the sheets

@FantasyChic - I have a lot of things like that in my albums on Imgur.

However, I use a lot of sub or sup tags to make the image move up or down, to kind of cradle under the name like I did for my character and whatnot. It gets.. tedious and annoying after a while. I think I used seven in mine until I was satisfied.

Otherwise, if I need more, I look on tumblr sometimes or deviantART.

I know Rockette already answered but if you find an image you love/like you can always go to images.google.com and reverse image search and it will give you similar things from the interwebs. For example I reverse searched Rockette's and found this.

Alright, cool think I got a rough concept for a character now. Thinking something along the lines of another close quarters fighter, but more like a shotgunner, perhaps with a melee weapon on the side if possible just not necessary. Guess the biggest inspiration here would be Rangers from XCOM 2 if anyone knows them.

For cores I'm not 100% sure yet, however my gut is telling me to go with Red & Green or Red & Blue.

[Tentatively] I am going Black & Colourless; Assassin; Mid Range thrown weaponry [laced in her own, now poisonous, blood?]; drug abusing, mental up the max, think demented Alice, and that was before the SOLDIER program found her.

@Noxious That sounds pretty badass

I am going Blue and White. Ranged sniper, helpful buffer and good at picking off enemies. Kind of on par with Ana from Overwatch.
