Okay, now you can proceed. I realize my post is probably very... strange, to say the least but please play along with it. The drop outs merely gave me an opportunity to drop some early foreshadowing for what I have planned. You may react as you wish, either insisting the girls were there and then writing it off as your mind playing tricks like Makoto did, or you could - like Kuroda - merely go on as if they were never there to begin with. Either way is acceptable and plays into my future plans.

So, just to clarify, evolutionary paths must have some canon basis? Or is it OK if they at least make some sense? For example, Panjyamon can canonically evolve into Gankoomon, but Grappuleomon cannot. Can I make it so that Grappuleomon evolves into Gankoomon?

Both these mons also evolve into BanchLeomon.

@Double TBH Virus Delete was supposed to be more of a status, somehow wearing away at the Cyber Beast somehow, if it happened to be a Virus, to weaken or slow it or something. I mean, Considering it's either Hanumon, Ogermon, Fugamon, or Hyogamon, it had a decent chance of working. I just didn't want to call if it hit, in case you wanted it to dodge or something. Also sorry for the silence. Internet had lapsed for a while.

Yeah, that's my plan too. Also, couldn't use Nightmare Syndrome right away because it requires preparations. But that brings up an interesting point- based on the way @Double is presenting it, would that be more powerful because it is an Ultimate class attack?

I don't remember Tapirmon from the English version very well, so I don't know how the attack was intended to be. But for the sake of the story, you could say that because he is a rookie Digimon his attack would not be as powerful as an Ultimate (based on the level-game aspect present).

EDIT: I believe Double's character used a card to achieve the Ultimate attack.

It was still Champion level, but to clarify the reason for that is entirely due to the card effect. In the case of Bakumon since you didn't use any cards on it yet then I have no real reason to believe it was anything stronger than Rookie level, hence why would have minimal effect on the Cyber Beast. Also the Cyber Beasts themselves are anomalies that sort of break the conventional rules, so this one will be ruled as inexplicably immune to debuffs due it's glitchy/buggy nature.

Based on what Double is saying, I'd say that Bakumon's attack is more effective than what Gazimon or Commandramon tried, but still relatively ineffective based on the Digiomon's Champion level and glitch nature. Gazimon still took advantage of it though.
