I looked through about 600 of my photos for the cow joke but to no avail. I did rediscover some pretty funny shit though so worth it I guess

The left hand side evaluates to
logmoo(CowA)+logmoo(CowB)=logmoo(CowA*CowB).


I can change the base of the right hand side to be the same base as the left hand side. I get
log2Cow(Moo)=logmoo(2Cow)/logmoo(Moo).

If we assume that moo=Moo, then it simplifies to
log2Cow(Moo)=logmoo(2Cow).


From inspection, we can see that your equation is only true if 2Cow=CowA*CowB. This is probably not the case, unless one of the cows is equal to 2. Unless cows are dimensionless, then this 'rule' fails to hold up to dimensional analysis.

I would recommend the amendment that, instead of 2Cow, you use Cow2. This then comes with the requirement that CowA*CowB=Cow2. This is trivially true for the case CowA=CowB, but is true in other cases too. And units are preserved.

That's nothing. That was some basic logarithm algebra. The formatting took longer than the actual maths. By contrast, I spent over two hours yesterday calculating and rechecking nasty integrals for a quantum physics assignment.

@Lauder You need to remember that this is BBeast we're talking about here, so it would be math heaven (with elves, botany, robots, firing particles into one another [for science!], and alchemy).

I can personally confirm that physics is a higher circle of maths hell. Not the worst, but hell nonetheless. I can't speak for BBeast, but I don't think physics is the maths hell where Stockholm syndrome starts to kick in. That's more in the level of applied or pure maths.

It's been a while since the last khuote. I found this one quite interesting:

When I thought about it, I realised that in many ways 'friendship' in the modern world means the very opposite - the breakdown of courtesy and formalities because you are 'close' and 'know' one another.
