@LostBrotherGrimm I had used it to make a little asteroids like a year ago, but now I'm trying to make something mine. The program is really neat, it's simple to use once you understand the basics, and, judging by what has come from it, is something really flexible, letting you go as small or big as you want or feel like you can going.

@Genkai Could it possibly house an A.I. that may guide our characters? Or are we the only sentients (behaving) on the ship?

I'm fine with either way. I have ideas how to go about it. By the way, have we chosen roles OOC yet?

@71452K Hmm I hadn't considered an AI exactly, but I think there will be one. I had an idea for something similar to happen in the near future in terms of guidance. But yeah, consider us being watched

And I think we may play it by ear is no one is one way or another?

Another person suggested (too lazy to check who) jobs can be switched. I almost want to make them un-switchable but that is true, I think, it'll be better if jobs could be switched so nothing is permanent.

By the way guys, I got a job! That interview I thought sucked donkey balls ended up panning out. It's teaching kids in Japan and while I don't like kids, I will like them for small sums of money. So yeah in 2 months I'm off to Sendai~

congrats on your job acquisition. hope you get to do some neat stuff in japan in-between dealing with the tiny humans.

that job switching was my suggestion, though it was more of an ic suggestion to the chars than one for the actually players, seeing as we know what all those jobs entail where as the characters really don't yet. kind of a "don't worry to much about it, lets go explore". also because my char does not like the idea of being pinned to one job for his entire long life.

Ehem, I claim credit for that too. Had Gio finished his sentence, he would have told everyone to think for themselves and not listen to everything the woman says. :P. @DracoLunaris

Teaching english abroad? Nice! That's very popular here. It's a rather cold srason now but by the time you come, it'll be warmer! The yearly tanabata festival will start in two months too, so you're just in the right month to come see it.

Then as for the A.I., cheers, I think I can work with that to write something once we've chosrn our roles. My character would probably be involved in technical ship maintenance, whatever his role (Vice cap, Researcher or if need be Medic).

If that's alright with everyone?

@LostBrotherGrimm Awww yeah, but still I think the company is just super desperate. But I'm stoked to have my first real job, it's gonna be tough but I'm stronger than I think. I think.

@DracoLunaris Thanks! Well I'm fairly tiny myself so I should fit riiight in. Except for the American part and I'm kinda curvy.

@71452K I love cold weather so I was stoked to get Sendai since it's their most northern branch. I know it's a pretty hectic job choice but I think I'll like teaching and hopefully I can move onto teens/adults in a year, I'm not big on kids tbh. :3

Okay so should we just call out what we think our roles will be at least for now?

I love how everyone's sort of indecisive. Something tells me there may be swapping in the future.

Think of kids as people at their most vile, basic nature. To control them, appeal to their most vile and basic properties, hunger and the need for safety.

Bring treats to the classroom (that they won't die from), bribe the little goblins.

I think that we will not all excel at our roles, it wasn't like we were picked for our skills anyway. Hi there pilot with thalassophobia. :D.

Eh wait, wasn't Kianna iffy about the ocean too? I remember reading about one such char after I made mine. Was it not Kianna?

What's that? Did I just make a post? I've been so inactive that even I'm kind of surprised.

If it seems like everything is kind of all over the place, that's because that's how I am as of late, it's really confusing being my brain right now, and I don't know if I wanted to reflct that intentionally or it was just the byproduct of my current state of mind.

Well, whatever it was, feel free to call me out in anything you think is poorly executed or needs rephrasing or anything like that, I'm up for re-reading my own posts.

Also, I wanted to show something else of the ship, but for now I've just made a corridor and I'll leave the exposition to someone else, just for the sake of diversity, sounds good?

I have arbitrarily taken everything we have written about the place so far and made a super simple map. probably took some liberty's or miss read stuff so let me know if that is the case. mainly made this to start a president with myself to keep track of where we are.
