@Hekazu so uh by "flimsy wooden chest" do you mean "wooden chest that comes apart if you throw it against the wall a few times" kind of flimsy, or is it still a "must unlock the chest scenario" kind of chest?

No, it is probably for the better if I provide the explanation of whether the box breaks and if it does, what is inside. If you believe the attempt not to be an IC post worthy event (which I personally think it could be), just confirm with me whether you are going to try it and I'll describe the process in my post.

//edit: of course, if you need, feel free to bounce ideas off me but uh I just pictured Derrick throwing it at the floor. Although now that i think about it stomping it should be a better plan, right? Quieter, etc etc, although perhaps less force applied...

Oh, and haha that really short post from last time... was because I didn't know what to say, but needed to move everything along so Hekazu would have to post a GM post (avoid doubts and stuff xD).

That's kind of the point with his character (and by extension me) so I'm alright with it. I tend to be a pretty indecisive person.

@Lord of evil Okay I apologize for my terrible interpretation skills, since that's chasing the characters around in circles. I'd thought the spiderwebs were definitely a plotpoint to be tackled (being in the same room as then "wind"), but since Derrick didn't seem to want to, the other room was an option too. But, clearly, the spiderwebs are not? a plotpoint (yet), so I'll just awkwardly swerve my characters in the right direction again... can we ignore how they behaved the post before? Since, going along with your interpretation of the room, they've clearly acted out of character :/

Alright, let's see...

I figured the spiderwebs were basically there to tell us there were spiders. They didn't seem that thick yet (guess I should've asked) so I didn't think we should be too worried about them. I figured the light and wind would be more plotpointy, and that's what I was going for. I dunno about the out of character bit, that's honestly up to you.

Pretty sure the doors you were referring to are in the hall, as what I got from Hek was that the library was an open door that was in the hall. Maybe that's where you're confused? Your post looked fine enough to me.

Yeah, the hall has many doors, most were simply closed. Was there a specific door Kenza listened at or did she just pick one at random?

Multiple doors out there in the hallway, but yes, there is one across from the library door. Just making sure now that you know there's many doors in the dark hallway that you want to check that one in particular.
