That's it... it must be. I'll wake up from this dream and go to check on an INT check with only 2 posts... with one of them being my own. This is too much progress for a pitifully small soul. I don't deserve all this.

Hopefully that post wasn't too bad for you~

I uh, actually started writing the character when they were first awakened, using the stuff in the OOC since it seemed appropriate and allowed me to explore the beginning psyche of this little wispy wisp~

But for now my little wisp is currently just watching everyone else since it has no questions.

In regards to our wisp dudes, are you planning on them eventually recalling their past life and such? Or is the growth of Essence something that is all present/future related, and they'll never actually have a backstory?

@erodeThough it is heavily implied that your characters had pasts, it is not necessary to delve into them to build the character. The whole past thing is set up in a way for you to decide how to use. I always encourage freedom and choice, that way it allows for a truly unique experience. If you want to make digging it back up a big emotional point in your character than feel free to do so. If you wish to have them embrace this clean slate, you can as well. You can even do both.

In the end, it's just another option for character building. I hope that helps.

@Rune_Alchemist From the way you made it sound, I thought you were gonna pull some crazy shenanigans... phew. In any case, I love how you handled it. Can't wait to see how your curious little wisp will grow. :^D

And yes! I am quite looking forward to exploring the wisps current curiosity and past as well, myself. I don't think it will be too attached to its former life...but it will be interesting, nonetheless.

Do you think we really need a Discord? As there isn't a lot of material to discuss at the moment. Maybe ideas for character development down the line, but everything seems pretty self-contained within the IC.

I agree with @Aristo, as much as I like to create a chat, it would be kind of redundant seeing as we can freely talk here. I'd like to reserve a chat if we needed to discuss things real time, or to create collabs. Maybe when such things come.

and @Erode I count inactivity to be a whole week, same with rounds. That won't mean there will be times when players are allowed post multiple times during an event. This is when there is no direct urgency, where posting structure and action order isn't really that important to the narrative. For example, during downtime, your characters may be able to talk amongst themselves freely. Sort of like now.

Keeping courtesy to others in mind, of course.

I think a discord is a bad idea.

It'll just become a glorified OOC that will sap focus as people drift to posting about whatever.
