Alright, got some verdicts!

The following characters have been ACCEPTED:

The following characters will be considered after AMENDMENTS:

The only issue preventing acceptance at this point is that we find the powers are almost a little on the weak side. We have concerns about Ivy being able to heal people by taking their injuries without any method to protect or heal herself. We'd like to see something added to her ability to bolster her a little bit.

◼   Hope, Benjamin as portrayed by @Aeolian
The sheet is solid but we have some concerns about the abilities and how the drawbacks feel very limited. If we're both understanding the way the powers have been described, it seems like it could be simplified to intangibility. The other thing that sticks out is that the largest drawbacks to using his power don't happen until after he finishes using it, so we'd like to see the limitations and weaknesses reworked as well.

◼   Estrella, Genessy as portrayed by @Ejected
There's two issues we found when reviewing this sheet, our primary concern however is the powers. Genessy seems quite overpowered and although strain of creating clones is mentioned, we're not exactly sure how many clones she can create before feeling that strain. The entire process is a little on the vague side and Roman and I both feel as though two to three clones should be her max production rate especially at this point. Additionally, neither of us like how the Hive Mind shifts when the 'Host' body dies as it makes her feel somewhat invincible.

The second issue is that her personality feels contradictive. On one hand, she's a social butterfly but on the other hand, she's a introvert and stand offish. It just feels like two conflicting personalities, which could work really well if her Hyperhuman ability was to create one duplicate thus creating a dual personality but in this case I don't know if it works.

Lastly the following characters are declined, Roman and I both appeciate your interest and the time you took to create character sheets but at this time we don't feel like the characters are a good fit.

His mother worked as a psychotherapist and his father was in the military. Because of this, he didn't get to see his father very often. Despite this, Benjamin had always admired his parents, but especially his father, who had always taught him the value of knowledge, continued growth, and how to be a responsible man. 

However, it wasn't until his father died in duty, that his powers activated. The day after the funeral, he was plagued by a haunting nightmare and when he woke up, he found himself on the basement floor with a gash on his temple and a broken ankle. Once he recovered, every night he would use his newfound ability to quietly sneak out the house in order to visit his father's grave, talking and ranting to him as though he had never departed. This nightly ritual went on for months.

But unfortunately, his mother had no such solace. Unable to bury the pain of her husband's death and in much dire need of a fresh start, Benjamin's mother moved them to Crestwood Hollow after an extensive search for a new school lead to the discovery of the The Hyperhuman Social Conscience Program. 

Though voluntary, she made Benjamin's participation mandatory. Furthermore, it was here that she was finally able to live her life long dream of opening her own psychotherapy practice. But in the end, she is hoping that Benjamin can start over as well and become a happier individual. He probably took the death of his father the hardest.

Composed, soft-spoken, practical, and no-nonsense, Benjamin is an insightful and pensive individual who puts education and hard-work above all else. He is incredibly pragmatic and sensible, and is the type to get things done right the first time, as he can become very impatient and hates wasting his time. To him, knowledge and self-growth is power, and anything else that might subvert from that is a waste of time and effort. 

Though his eyes are sparkling and seem warm and inviting, in actuality, he is rather shy, cold, and distant. Benjamin has a hard time expressing his emotions to others and prefers to remain studious and nose deep in his studies. He sometimes does his peers homework for pay, as he is not completely opposed to stepping outside the box.

Though he generally sees himself to be more intelligent than his peers, he does see the potential in them and can become frustrated when they do not seize it or realize it themselves. In this regard, he can become rather imperious and controlling, as he does not tolerate failure, especially for himself, and is willing to jeopardize his morality in order to achieve his goals. For the rare few who have managed to penetrate his icy outer exterior, he is very sensitive, gentle, and loyal to them, probably to a fault. 

Benjamin continues to think dearly of his departed father and wants to follow in his will in order to exert himself for the remainder of his living family. He will stand up against anyone who dare speak ill of his father.

You know what's interesting? Esther's and Benjamin's conflicting family histories. It could make for a decently dramatic subplot in the story. Perhaps doubt and suspicion directed at Esther, thinking that she is or will become her father is and grand father was? Maybe there is something to dig in there.

I'm not sure what concrete plans he has. Probably trying to mobilize people and trying to build a community for Hypes and those who don't believe every Hype's a weapon and should be locked up. He's got plenty of resources and people skills to try and make something happen. He's very new to being 'out' as a Hype, so he'll probably need some time to adjust and mature in his identity before he starts making big moves.

I noticed that too; how drastically different their father relationships are. Benjamin admired his father and Esther was scarred by hers. I'm currently trying to figure out who he would be friends with. Eventhough Ben might have his suspicions of her, I imagine Esther would probably be one of his few friends since she's mute and her innate empathy allows her to understand him better than most. Also, they have the daddy thing going on.

XD! Honestly though, I do see some kind of interesting dynamic between them. Whatever it may end up being.

Awesome. I think their friendship could also have a deeper statement to it—Ben being of Jewish heritage and Esther's father and grandfather sympathizing with World War II German ideology, which makes them opposites to say the least. Their friendship would be a rebellion in itself.

The dad thing is a good lead-in for Esther trying out the whole hallucination/dream side of her ability. Maybe Ben would agree to having her practice on him at some point and have him meet his father based on memories? Lots of possibilities for bonding and better understanding.

I'm not sure what concrete plans he has. Probably trying to mobilize people and trying to build a community for Hypes and those who don't believe every Hype's a weapon and should be locked up. He's got plenty of resources and people skills to try and make something happen. He's very new to being 'out' as a Hype, so he'll probably need some time to adjust and mature in his identity before he starts making big moves.@Hillan

I was thinking that Esther would look up to Marcus, like a 'fan' or something due to who he is, wanting to join his 'club' as she would call it. I'm not sure about the timeline here, but either she would be somewhat into it already or beginning to see it this way. It's tricky to explain, but I think I've seen this kind of dynamic somewhere in a movie or show.
