The Syrian Civil War is turning now fully in favor of the government with the rebels losing much of their momentum. Large numbers of rebels and their supporters have begun an exodus from their country though most of their neighbors have declared they will not accept any militant refugees.

I doubt it will truly "end" for a long time. People are going to be crazy and persistent. There'll be an insurgency for sure.

Can we truly say it'll "end"? Maybe its status as an all-out war. But I am almost certain attacks by anti-government militants will persist. And in a worse case scenario, the war might even reignite itself. This is the middle-east we're talking about, after all.

Hm, how much flak you think the American and French governments will get for aiding the rebels via airstrikes?
