They will also probably dislike the X'Cor, so you can imagine that if the Namilee need help, the Xim will provide them with weapons, or genetically engineered super-soldiers who are capable of fighting on behalf of the Namilee, although I'm guessing that the Namilee would not accept an offer of military aid

That's right - in fact, the Namilee will probably speak out in defense of the X'cor, as insane as that sounds, pushing for some sort of peaceful negotiations with them.

I haven't decided if the Namilee even want weapons. As they see it, destroying their homeworld to destroy the X'cor fleet and being forced to wipe out swathes of their own people in the process just to save ten thousand lives was a terrible sacrifice, one full of regret. The vast majority of the Namilee are utterly traumatized by this and the events of the war. Pretty much everyone on the fleet is undergoing psychological counseling.

They don't want to unleash that same trauma on other species.

So I'm looking at this, and I'm interested. But I do have a question about the allowance of one technology: megastructures. Like, not a full-on Dyson Sphere but more planet or moon sized structures. Sorry if it's been brought up already, and if it's a no-go that's cool.

Kazzlehorf- Clone Civilization w/ Hyper narcissism. Everyone is supposed to literally be the same exact person to the point where simply thinking yourself someone else will get you euthanized and shipped off as meat to some animal faction in exchange for 'pets'. I'm sorry, but I just don't think its possible. I'm going to be throwing some messed up shit at that Explorer, and even though the VAST majority of encounters will have a way that they can be resolved peacefully, there will eventually come a time where only combat will suffice.

And if the Namilee cannot fight, I'm not sure they'll make it.

They're not going to be happy about their fate, whichever fate it is.

Actually it is totally possible. Make the right connections, be extremely evasive and get very good defense systems.

Fabulous, now to throw the concept for my nation and see if that's cool too. I wanted it to sort of be a species who, technology-wise, are pretty average except they're really good at making things that are really, really big and the extraction of raw materials to use in the construction of said things that are really, really big. I wanted to have them be confined to only a single system (by choice), but many artificial planets and ringworlds and the like which house their population. And those artificial megastructures are the only thing in the system, since everything else has been harvested for raw materials. And there's sort of a ring of systems around their one that are empty because everything has been harvested to be used for the megastructures in their home system.

I'm only asking because it's sort of atypical.

@Arawak So far we have your civilization, the Xim Initiative(Semi-Militant Mutants), the Solaran Federation(Humans plus several alien species), the New Alleghian Republic(Similar to the federation, minus humans), the Starfire Dominion(AI Starships) and of course the X'Cor Empire.
