Francis was born into an era of neglect and war, just because of how he was born. Francis learned of his powers at a young age of 13, and it didn't take long for his parents to realize that their son was a mutant. His parents, being extremely religious as they were, believed that he was possessed by some sort of evil, and literally tried to beat it out of him. Thankfully, Professor X found him and took him to the institute, where he learned how to control his powers.

Appearance:

Francis stands at 6'2" and has a slender build. He has medium length, dark, curly hair, bright blue eyes, and usually wearing a rather calm and collected expression. He tends to keep his facial hair trimmed or shaved completely, as well as keep himself fairly well groomed. As far as his attire goes, Francis tends to keep it pretty casual, wearing a simple T-shirt and jeans.

Powers:

Francis has the unique ability to phase through any solid object. Therefore he can literally walk through walls. This ability doesn't, however, work with liquids or gases. Which means that he can still drown or choke on poisonous gases.

Despite having a bad childhood, Francis is a very kind, caring, and gentle person. He cares deeply about his students, often affectionately referring to them as his "kids" and acts as their mentor and guardian. He is smart, clever, and a natural leader that will immediately take control of a situation when things go south.

Sophie's abilities fire appeared at a young age of 3 years old, when she accidentally set her family's couch on fire. Having no idea how to handle this and her abilities quickly growing stronger with no sign in stopping, her parents essentially improvved her entire childhood. This was something that was often difficult to do, especially when she would get a fever or through a literal temper tantrum.

Life outside of her family, unfortunately, wasn't as accepting or nearly as kind. Her classmates learned of her powers around the age of 6, when Sophie decided it would be a good idea to show off her powers for show and tell. She grew up being called a monster by her classmates and a devil by their parents. Nobody wanted to talk to her or even breath the same air as her. She was constantly bullied and beaten by her classmates, and was even nearly drowned by her classmates forcing her head underwater in the school pool until she fainte, during her freshman year of highschool. After that incident, she was in a coma for a little over two weeks. The school had held an assembly about the matter, but of course, the bullying didn't stop and she has a few scars left, some more faded than others, from the beatings.

Then, a few months ago, Professor Latour showed up, walked through her front door, and sat down with her parents and offered her something that they couldn't refuse; a chance. At first, Sophie was a little reluctant to attend as she had never met another mutant before, but Francis was quick to persuade her.

Appearance:

Sophie stands at a short 5'3" with a small, thin build and has little to no curves. She has long, dark, wavy hair that goes down to her mid back and striking blue eyes. Etched into her ivory, porcaline skin are a few small and faded scars that are the remains of the beatings she received from bullies when she was young.

Powers:

Sophie has the destructive power of being able to create and manipulate fire to her will. This ability often ties into her emotional and physical state. As a side effect of her powers, she cannot burn. However, that doesn't mean she can swim in lava either. Another side effect is that using her abilities cause her to burn up a lot of calories and put massive strain on her muscles, thus, increasing her appetite and need for sleep.

She became too much for the young couple to take, and she was put of for adoption at the age of 7. Because of her "Gifts" she was deemed "unadoptable" and bounced from foster home to foster home. At the age of 18 she was thrown out on her own to fend for herself. With little to no control of what she could do, she hid and kept to herself until she heard about the Institute and heard about what Professor X had started and done for all of the mutants. She showed up on the doorstep at the age of 19, and has been learning ever since.

Appearance: Grace is a petite girl of 5'4". She is of average build. She has sandy brown hair that comes down to the middle of her back. She has crystal clear, blue/green eyes. She has a pair of gray angel wings that she can tuck snuggly against her back under her shoulder blades. She can hide them under most clothing. Aside from the wings, she has a long scar under her right shoulder blade where one of her foster parents tried to cut her wing out.

Johnny was born in Australia originally, but quickly moved to Louisana with his parents shortly after being born. His father was Australian and his mother America, granting him dual citizenship within these countries.

Much of his life up until he discovered his powers was filled with two closely related things. Shooting and cowboy movies. His father adored the greats such as John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, and would often watch the films with Johnny whenever they could. His mother, however, was more inclined in teaching him how to fire a gun, this mix of interests resulted in the cowboy-esque persona that Johnny bases his powers around.

When his powers manifested it was a disaster. He couldn't control his speed, he kept flying into walls after the first step and it was blindingly obvious that he was a mutant. His parents, being the progressives they were, did not look down on him for his mutations, and instead sought to help him control it.

Things were going well until a local anti-mutant rally swept through the town. Someone caught Johnny using his power to get home quicker, and what ensued was the worst night of Johnny's young life. His parents struggled to keep the angry mob from getting to Johnny, which resulted in their brutal murder at the hands of an unknown gunman.

Alone and afraid, Johnny ran as fast and as far as he could. He passed through many towns along his journey, before finally encountering another mutant in Washington. The mutant helped him get to Xavier, who honed his power and managed to help him grow into the man he is today.

Appearance:

Johnny stands at 5 foot 11 and has a fit, borderline muscular physique. His hair is kept partially long, but is styled so that it falls no lower than his neck. His moustache goatee combo is rather scruffy and matches the dark brown hue of his hair and eyes. He can often be seen wearing a leather jacket, and bears a double shoulder holster on missions.

Powers:

Johnny's power is speed. Everything he does he can do faster than anyone else. Running, punching, kicking, you name it and he can do it quickly. Furthermore this power extends to his reflexes, which have been enhanced to the point where he can draw and fire a revolver as accurate as he would if he was aiming a sniper rifle. Speaking of guns, these are a staple in his powerset, as he uses them almost always when fighting villains.

Johnny's life has made him cold and bitter to an extent. He finds it hard to trust people and mostly assumes that anyone he meets will be out of his life sooner rather than later. Once you gain his trust however, you will begin to notice the kindness and warmth that he bears towards mostly everyone who doesn't intend to do him harm. While not going so far as a father figure, Johnny does see Francis as an authority figure, and is one of the few people he'll follow the orders of.

He has had one or two conversations past small talk, mainly because of both of their tendency to distance themselves from groups.

Frankly her power weirds him out a little, he's gotten used to it over the years but the sight of her wings unfurling still gives him the heeby jeebies every now and then. He's a bit protective of her when bully's are around as he knows of her tendency to shy away from conflict.

James discovered his powers when he was around 7 years old. His family had just come back from a vacation to the beach. So of course, everyone was terrified when James suddenly disappeared, and then reappeared claiming to have "gone back to the beach". His parents, terrified for their son, urged him to hide his mutation. So James hid his power from everyone, though he would still occasionally teleport somewhere when he got emotional. This all came to a head when at a party in his senior year of high school, James was utterly humiliated. He than teleported home, in front of his entire class. The neighborhood was far less understanding than his parents. Forced into hiding, James lived on his own for about a year, until he heard about the Institute. In his desperation, James made his way there, hoping for shelter.

Appearance:

James is 5'8", and rather slim. He has medium length, straight hair. He also has hazel eyes, which seem to glow moments before he teleports. He tends to where a t-shirt, jeans, and a light black jacket.

Powers:

James is able to instantly teleport. All he has to do is focus on the location he wants to visit, and he's there. While he his effectively unhindered by distance, James still has to focus harder the farther away the destination is. Also, while pictures of the destination help him focus, he must have an idea where the destination is relative to him. Lastly, James can bring anything or anyone he is holding with him when he teleports.

Preferring to blend into the background rather then be noticed, James only really opens up to the few who become close to him. At the young impressionable age of 8, Lucian's power reveled itself in the most subtle of ways. Often, those who lived with him experienced shortness of breath, and in server cases, mental hallucinations from oxygen deprivation. With constant doctors visits and no concrete answers, Lucian's parents began to run mad from fear and constant oxygen depravation, often attacking and accusing Lucian. Soon, the answer came, Lucian was a mutant, with a power that he didn't understand, nor could control in anyway. Fearing this power, at the age of 15 he was sent to live with many relatives, bouncing from home to home throughout the nation before one of his uncles had enough. He was quickly enrolled in the Institute, a place were he would be able to better control this depraved power of his. For years, he has been at the Institute, learning the true meaning behind his power.

Appearance:

Lucian is an African-American man with coffee bean-brown skin, deep-brown eyes and black hair. He sports a simplistic hairstyle, although he seems to care for it more than hinself at times. Despite being ragged on for his poor physical fitness, he is quite well-built, though he tends to stand with poor posture, slouching over. Standing straight at 6'1" and weighing over 205 pounds, Lucian is 'very big' for his age.

Powers:

Oxikinesis: Lucian has the ability to shape and manipulate oxygen. Increasing, or decreasing the amount present in a room, or manipulating its properties. This is an extremely dangerous ability, both for Lucian and his opponents. With this power, Lucian can lower oxygen levels in the surrounding environment to a point were many may succumb to mental hallucinations and near suffocation. This can inhibit the creation of fire by taking a large amount of its fuel away. This can also have the opposite effect if Lucian were to raise oxygen levels, fire would be stronger and burn much longer. With oxygen, Lucian can fly by riding on fast moving oxygen molecules, walk on them, glide, or levitate. The drawbacks of this ability are simple. By raising oxygen levels to high for to long, it can actually. cause brain damage to himself and others, and same is the effect with severe deoxygenization, but due to the fact that he can create a pocket of it to breath from, he can avoid its draw backs, but the concentration required to do this is quite massive. This ability also alows Lucian to combust molecules of oxygen, creating explosions within a ten foot radius, although very small.

Personality: He On the surface, Lucian comes off as a rather silly and lighthearted person, frequently engaging in comical behavior and retaining his oft-present grin even while making threats. He displays a childlike amusement for new situations whether or not they prove adverse or even potentially fatal. Even with all these idiosyncrasies, Lucian is extremely personable and has a particularly complimentary nature that easily gains him the friendship and trust of those surrounding him.

Of course, these aspects hide the complex and determined young man underneath. On the reverse side of his frivolous nature is his considerable shrewdness, which makes him quite capable of reading people and situations. He is particularly observant, taking into consideration even the smallest details of his surroundings in order to better understand and deal with challenges and is not above using cheap tricks or questionable tactics to ensure his own survival. Being an avid philosopher and skilled rhetorician for his age, he can be a very calculating and methodical man, able to seemingly perceive any and all matters at hand and use this information to better manipulate the people around him.

History: The Life of Christie; she was born in London, England. She has no brother or sister and only her mother was a mutant out of her and her father. Her mother could project things making her very powerful. She worried her child would be a mutant and so made contact with Xavier in the early years. though Christie did not actually move into the mansion. She was not ready to yet and Charles did not push her into it, just gave her the she is welcome at any time. She knew she was different by the age of 12; her hair would grow to full length within hours after getting her hair cut. Her mother had to cut it several times a day. Nowadays it does not grow at all unless she commands it to though she does not have full control of her hair or nails. In-between her young age and her current age she had been through much though she does not remember anything during the age of 14-16. To this day, it is a complete mystery and something in her tells her not to delve into the past either.

14-16. Unknown to her, hints of a programme close to the Weapon X programme was in progress but Vibranium was used instead. Unlike Wolverine she does not have nightmares; nothing ever recurred of those days even when she wondered how her hair, nails, and bones had become Vibranium itself. This project was now called Project Weapon XY (Chromosome) V-II or code named Wrath of Vibranium. She was picked and taken because of her high healing factor that was just as good or better than Wolverines and others who had the same gift. This meant she could survive whatever was thrown her way, she had to die in order to live which was about 30 seconds to a minute. After the said blank years in which she was now 17 she became a part-time thief as she had the tools to do so but all that was short lived. It was not her type of thing and it was much harder than it should have been as well. She was slower than most thieves but she could defend herself better then they could however and so went on to do something she enjoyed as a child, music.

She is a musician and was in a band before being known as a mutant, her band's theme was on personas and so she hid her appearance within the group in plain sight. The members of the group just thought she was crazy about being her persona and costume. But the day she was revealed by a rogue mutant she was ousted out of the band, the group parted on bad terms though only one of her band mates did not care she was different but was too weak to show this. This was before mutants were more accepted even though not everyone did accept things as they were. From what point she just wandered from place to place, just seeing the world for what it was. She visited Canada, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, parts of America, Mexico and India. After travelling she went to the mansion to see if joining the X-Men was possible, she is the newest person there so she does not know anyone just yet.

Though she is heavy in weight much of it is from her Vibranium bonding (Mostly her body), she herself without it is only around 10 stone. She has various tattoos on her, the most notable one being on her neck which is music related. She has many tattoos on her right arm of the names of various X-Men, and even the name X-Men in the centre which has the names of X-Men going around it. The left upper arm has a tattoo design on it as well but it is hardly ever seen and so no one but her knows what it is. Her spine has a tattoo going all the way down it and is actually a tattoo of a spine, though somewhat more graphic in detail. She also has piercings you can see and can't see. Two on her lower lip, one just below her lip, one on her nose and a few in other places. Her hair was naturally black but since she was bonded with the rare metal it is now metallic greyish silver. Her fingernails are also a greyish silver and always look very sharp due to the way the nails were created.

She mostly wears light clothing though likes to wear her tough leather jacket a lot. Mainly she wears fishnet like clothing or very alternative based fashion. Her home made X-Men outfit [Even though she was not one] is similar to Wolverines as it is made from spandex though it is not yellow but black, purple and silver.

Healing factor is now less effective as it is constantly fighting the none stop metal poisoning in her body which is more lethal than it sounds. Her healing factor is on par or slightly below Wolverines healing factor. The Vibranium in her body means none of her bones, hair or fingernails can be broken. This in itself is both good and bad, however, Magneto and Polaris could force her Vibranium bones out by force. Due to the Vibranium which has bonded with her hair she cannot extend her hair as much as she used to, each strand of hair has been bonded with the rare metal. This means it can flow like normal hair and take shape if needed be. With the Vibranium she reaches about 7 foot in length, without it, she could keep going as it not really taxing. The thickness of her hair has been hampered the most, due to the rare metal she can barely increase it half an inch in thickness. Her nails can grow to 4 to 6 centimeters, used to be able to reach to about 12cm before the bonding.

Her nails can change thickness as well but it is very taxing on her to do it and it can only be done by an inch or two. Before the bonding, she could make it as thick as an elephants task. If it was not for her Vibranium reinforcing her neck she would have none stop neck pain or would have broken her neck instantly up standing up.

Weaknesses:

She loves all the heroes and villains in the world to date and will most likely bring one up often. Christie is very demanding, not of others but of herself. She is extreme as well which causes her to be a daredevil. Will has not had the prettiest of lives by any means, although it wasn't always that way. Born to two mutants, Lilith and Alexander Lockhart, Will's early years were extremely happy, filled with laughter and happiness. All that came to a rather abrupt halt after the unfortunate night of October 31st, 2004, when an anti-mutant cult swept through town and killed anyone who they believed to be mutants. Miraculously, Will escaped, and was placed in foster care.

The next seven years of his life were spent in different houses, always being moved around. His tenure in the system came to an end when he was fourteen, and his powers manifested. He'd been playing with his foster brother, when his temper flared and he sent a disc of bright green, super heated energy straight through a tree. Not many people were willing to take in a young mutant with little control over his powers, and so he took his life into his own hands, and ran away.

The next five years of his life were spent on the run. He made his money from petty theft and did his best to control his powers, which worked a little, but not nearly as much as he would've liked. Latour showed up three months back, offering him a place at the school and stopping him from doing something he would've regretted, a debt that he has yet to repay.

Appearance:

Will has golden blonde hair that he keeps spiked up, out of his dark blue eyes. His mouth is always turned up in a perpetual smile, that gives him a mischievous look. His skin is lightly tanned and he's built like a runner, long and lithe. He stands at about 6'1 and weighs 165 pounds, giving him a lanky frame. He normally dresses in flannels and skinny jeans, and some might even describe his fashion sense as grungy.

Powers:

Will can absorb and manipulate energy. By drawing the cosmic energy out of the air around him, he can release it in super heated discs, that can cut through concrete pillars. When he's using his power, he has rather poor aim and control, and it's possible for him to begin shooting off energy if he becomes upset.

Bryson was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at a very young age. When he was 6, he was thrown into a mental hospital. His parents were not willing to deal with the problems that would come with Schizophrenia. This only worsened his condition. Before, he might have heard the voices every other week or so. After being surrounded by the other crazies, he would hear them constantly. Eventually, each voice established their own personalities. Two of the most distinct ones even named themselves. They called themselves Orion, and Corvus.

It was hard for Bryson to explain to the nurses what was going on with him, but essentially, they were his shoulder angel and devil. Whenever Bryson was making a decision, they would give him their opinions on what he should do. Orion was always the rational one, who would try and guide Bryson to do good. Corvus, on the other hand, was extremely mischievous. He was always pressuring Bryson to pull pranks on others, steal, and lie his way out of the hospital.

And this was exactly what Bryson did. Corvus guided him step by step, and Bryson was able to show vast improvements in his mental health over the course of a month. The entire staff was shocked at his sudden improvement. Eventually, he was discharged and sent to a foster home. No one wanted to take in the mentally unstable teenager, so he was stuck living in the foster home. It wasn't much better than the mental hospital, but at least he could socialize with normal human beings.

One day, Bryson was in his room along with the 9 others he was sharing it with, and all of a sudden, he felt his body rip in two. But, it wasn't literally ripped in half. Instead, there were two whole versions of him. One was a brighter red, and slightly translucent, while the other was a duller purple, also slightly translucent.

The next thing that Bryson could remember is him sitting in a bed, across from Professor Francis Latour. He was a mutant. The voices in his head weren't from Schizophrenia. The past 17 years had all been a lie. Of course, no one could have known.

Appearance:

Bryson is around average height at 5' 10". He has a lighter build, and not a whole lot of muscle. He prefers to wear casual clothes, typically wearing jeans and a t-shirt of some sort. After being in what was basically prison for 17 years, he hasn't really taken to any kind of fashion style.

Bryson has the ability to split into two beings. Each of these entities are slightly translucent, and tinted different colors. They also take on completely separate minds. The first form is a bright red, who goes by the name Orion. The second entity is a dull purple, and goes by the name Corvus. These two are only apparitions, and cannot deal any physical damage. This of course means that they cannot be dealt any physical damage. However, if they were to be hit hard enough, they will dissipate and cannot return to their corporeal forms for some time.

Their true power comes in the way of being able to mimic other's powers. Corvus acts as sort of a conduit for Orion to obtain other's powers. However, Corvus must remain within a 10 foot radius of the target, and the abilities only last for around 5 minutes.

Personality:

Bryson, while diagnosed as being insane, really doesn't act like it. Sure, he may be a bit out there, but he doesn't sit in the corner of the room and cackle like a witch. He'll often adapt his personality to match either Orion's or Corvus', depending on several things. This basically means that he'll either be overly kind, generous, and an all around good guy, or he'll be a devious trickster. When one of these aren't taking over, Bryson is quite aloof. He'll only half pay attention, and is often thinking about other things.

Nothing interesting happened within Charlotte’s life until she was nine years of age. She had just realized her ability when she was sitting in the house and her parents were arguing, which was nothing new to her. Though, she did get a little upset and objects started rising up around her. She was scared and afraid and her parents thought that she was a freak. So, rather trying to find out what or who she really was, they gave her away, which truly devastated her. She grew up in the orphanage until she was eleven years of age, strange happenings usually happened when she was around and no one could explain it. Well, she could but didn’t really want to.

It wasn’t until a few days since she turned eleven that a knock came upon her door and two men entered the premises, wanting to adopt her. She wasn’t reluctant at all. She was really happy – Ecstatic even. Charlotte boldly went with the men and they took her to a facility, where they taught her how to hone her abilities. She even learned how to hone her Telepathy ability, too that didn’t manifest until she was thirteen.

A few years have passed by now and she is now twenty-four years of age and coming back to the place where it all began. Charlotte’s life over the past couple of years have been nothing, in all honesty but she now has full control of her abilities and is happy to help Professor Francis out this year.

Appearance:

Charlotte is a very slender female, with a top heavy frame and little hips. She has pale blue eyes but in certain amount lighting, they can look electric blue. She stands about five foot six inches tall and weighs about one-hundred and sixteen pounds. Charlotte has hazel brown colored hair, which she usually keeps straightened. Her skin complexion is a fair tone of ivory. Charlotte usually wears skirt outfits with heels or she’ll wear a pants suit with flats. But that’s only when she’s around the school and it’s in session, otherwise, she wears halter tops and short shorts with Chuck Taylor’s.

Powers:

Telepathy - The ability to read and sense other people’s thoughts even communicate with them through their mind. With this, she can also control people through their minds and even have a hint of clairvoyance, too. The limitations to her abilities are she may not be able to control her clairvoyance ability because it can happen unexpectedly. Also, it requires a lot of concentration and silence. With her mind control and telepathy, she can only control one person at a time and even read one person mind at a time. With telepathy, she may not be able to control how many thoughts she can hear at once thus making her have migraines or be rendered unconscious.

Telekinesis - The ability to manipulate objects with one’s mind. With this, her limitations are that she can only manipulate objects of certain weight or size. She may not be able to do her telekinesis due to thoughts of fear, distractions and stress. When using her ability for too long, she becomes physically fatigued.

You know those little plastic things that overprotective parents put in electrical sockets? Yeah, Astrid's mom wasn't like that. It wasn't necessarily her mom's fault, she was working all the time to keep what little they had. However, it did scare the life out of her when thirteen month Astrid stuck a fork in a socket and started charging. Astrid's mom, not knowing how to get her daughter away from the socket without electrocuting herself, allowed her to overcharge herself. The infant had no idea how to control herself, and quickly burnt the house down. Astrid and her mom were lucky to survive. From then on, Astrid and her mom were very careful about how they dealt with electricity. It was always a struggle for her to feed herself, especially since her single mother was already trying to hold down two jobs, and could only sometimes pay the electricity bill. At eleven her mother heard about a place where people like her daughter could control themselves. Knowing she couldn't take care of her daughter herself she sent her off.

Appearance:

Astrid is a fairly short fair skinned woman. She is only 5'4" and weighs around 100 pounds, giving her the appearance of someone slightly malnourished. Her skin is a stark white in comparison to her bright red hair, easily her best feature. One interesting thing about her is that when her energy or emotions are high, sparks start to streak through her hair, much like bolts on a copper wire. She has light grey eyes that blend in well with her skin. Her clothes are fairly basic, tang tops and jeans, but when she knows she'll have to overcharge she wears thick black rubber gloves. It had been (unfortunately) known for her to burn through her clothes, so she often has another pair close at hand.

Powers:

Electrokinesis - Astrid's power allows her to act much like a battery. She stores energy in her body gathered from electrical devices and machines. At all given time, Astrid is being charge from static electricity gathered in the air. The level of energy in her body reflects her mood. When it's high, she acts hyper and speeds up her speech, but when low she can be sour and rude. Most of her energy comes from static, though Astrid's body naturally burns through a small amount electricity. The burn rate of her body, however, is not enough to balance out the amount that she builds from static. To prevent herself from overloading she must use this energy. The energy she stores in her body can be manipulated in several ways. She can charge most machines, though the quickest and easiest is to shoot bolts of electricity. The drawbacks to her ability are her constant need to regulate energy income, without which she would explode from overexposure. Due to these limitations, Astrid must always make sure to drain her energy before it gets too high, often resulting in her mood being sour.

Personality: As said above, Astrid's mood is directly controlled by the amount of energy she has stored in her body. When she is hungry, from a low level of energy and the headaches that occur, she is cranky and very easy to tick off. Often this occurs during mornings, after she has woken up from sleeping. The lower the energy is the more of a bad mood you will find her in. On the contrary, when she has a high level of energy, she is nearly a different person. Astrid can be uncharacteristically bubbly and happy, laughing like a normal young girl. Sometimes even flirtatious. Her speech starts to speed up, often making it hard to comprehend. She also makes a lot of gestures with her hands and body.

However, while she does seem like a better person in this state, she always has a constant worry in the back of her mind that she could hurt someone while overcharged. For a man (or in his case, boy) like this, getting buried beneath everything you've set up comes as an eventuality. It's just a matter of getting buried with your heart covered and held tight to your chest. All of who Peter is comes under a wall, a fortress built out of necessity and hidden beneath the earth. A selfless boy who knows his roots better than anyone else, proud of the fact. A willing participant when it comes to sacrificing who he is, what he is in order to preserve others. The mask he dons never really was for himself, no matter the denial from Peter, himself. A kind soul is buried underneath, battered and beaten and under a layer of hostile stoicism that verges on cynical. Once you get past that layer of earth, there's still stone and brick before his heart can ever be bared. A boy who's seen too much and wants little, but wants none the less even if he feels he doesn't deserve. Underneath everything, Peter feels broken and misused. A thing, a tool, rather than a human being.

History:

What do you get when you mix an extremist father and a mother who has no reservations about abandoning her kids if it meant saving herself? A very bad environment to raise a mutant son.

But that's a secret.

In fact, most of Peter's life has been all about keeping secrets. His outburst of uncontrolled powers happened, ironically, in a very controlled way. Where Peter lived, earthquakes were common place and so one of such a small magnitude that Peter created didn't come off as unusual. His mutation went under the radar even while he lay panicking under the slides of his school's playground. The teachers found him huddled in on himself and assumed he'd been hiding because of the earthquake. Peter never told anyone. No, as a kid having a difference so substantial like that didn't make you cool, it made you a target to be picked on.

It helped that his father liked to vocalize his hatred for mutants and mutant rights. Those things became commonplace and Mr. Donahue, the bible thumper that he was, taught Peter all kinds of sins associated with mutant inbreds - of course, he associated mutations with incest when it was nothing of the sort. Evolution seemed an unfathomable subject to the man and once those things had been said and done in the classroom, there was no hesitation on Mr. Donahue's part to take his son out and teach him the right way.

Learning under a man who didn't know much himself looked daunting and while Peter had only been barely into his teens, in this day and age, you find whatever resources you need to keep you on top of your game. With a mother gone and a father so hammered in his ways, Peter didn't have much else aside from a sickly grandfather in a nursing home. Now that man taught him everything he knew about the world as it is, everything else came from library computers and books when he'd been told to 'study' - in other words, 'study' was a way to get him out of the house.

It wasn't until much later on did Peter realize that his oh so ignorant father had conspired with anti-mutant group that quickly rose to prominence as an extremist terrorist group. Young Peter hadn't known the exact danger he lived in. A mutant murderer had been feeding him hatred and propaganda to turn him into some kind of brainwashed follower to take to the streets and burn mutants to a stake. The fear that gripped him turned his heart cold and a boiling rage for the innocent lives lost overtook him. Killing his father and burning down everything he'd tried to force onto Peter consumed his mind.

Luck had kept Peter from committing a crime he'd soon regret. Murder in his eyes he'd nearly barged into his ratty apartment, ready to tear his father a part with the very powers he feared. Fortunately, a tall, prudent man had grasped his hand before it took the door off its hinges completely. He introduced himself as a Professor Francis Latour and urged him not to go through with what was plaguing his mind. Peter hadn't noticed the man had been watching him seething all through his walk home after seeing his father's grim face in the background of a news report on the Equalist's latest, brutal on-cam murder.

What Francis offered Peter took him no time to accept. A safe place, a way to train his powers, to be himself, to be free of the hatred that sunk into him and wouldn't let up its grip. And then a way to channel all that power, all that emotion, into stopping these people from doing anymore harm. Not out of revenge, but because innocent people were dying and standing idle seemed just as bad a crime.

Anger kept him up at night. He had a right to it, wanted to succumb to it, but he was still a kid. Losing himself now and never regaining who he was, turning into a monster, that... that was the hardest struggle to overcome. It was almost an inevitability. If he had anything to say about it, he'd let it take him, but if it meant his selfishness over the security of other people, he'd take the latter almost every time.

Wes thinks he looks decent enough. He doesn't think he's a sight to marvel at, though. A lean, lithe body that stands at 5'8, with long limbs, and a fine layer of muscling for a boy his age, there is a boyish charm that surrounds him. He has a messy mop of dark brown hair that stops just after the top of his ears, that is either seen slicked back straight, or just falling where it pleases in a more wavy fashion. Matching thin eyebrows, set above brown eyes, that can look almost black, or almost a light brown, depending. A nose some may say is too big for his face, but somehow adds to his looks, with thin lips reddened from his constant habit of licking/chewing/biting them. When those lips pull up into a smile that shows off straight, white teeth, his eyes become squint-y, sometimes his nose even wrinkles up, and it's an adorable sight, indeed.

Wes doesn't just laugh or smile with his mouth, or cry with his eyes, or listen with his ears, his whole body joins in on this. Wes often talks with his hands, or laughs with a whole-body shake, or listens with multiple head nods and a body that leans forward to show interest. Wes uses his whole body to convey emotions, and depending on the emotions, he can be a very exciting person to be around, or a very not so exciting person to be around. His clothing style is nothing abnormal for a 15 year old, usually ranging in the area of jeans, graphic t-shirts, and sneakers.

He can mimic any sound he hears, so he has immunity against high or low-pitched sounds that can hurt others. He has learned how to simply whisper, or even whistle, and turn that into a hard force that can knock people down, maybe even injure them. The drawbacks are: sounds need a medium to travel through, and as for mimicking sounds, it can possibly lead to a very sore throat, to the point he might have to rest his voice afterward.

If asked to describe Wes after knowing him, majority of people would say "righteous." Or a little shit, but that's besides the point. Wes is very feisty, fierce in what he believes in, and passionate about all that he likes/enjoys. He does not keep his mouth shut if something hateful is being said, or if he disagrees with something. But, that does not make him arrogant - far from it, actually. He steps up for others when they're being wronged, he fights for others in a heart beat, and he'd give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He won't say any of this though, because he's quite the humble soul about it. He doesn't brag, doesn't like it, and so he never will. While he can come off a bit brash because he's so passionate about his beliefs, he's a very kind guy, who will listen to any problems someone is having, or give a much needed hug/shoulder to cry on.

Resulting in him being more on the sensitive side. He doesn't get easily offended for himself, but for others. He doesn't get angry at insults directed at himself, but does when they're directed at others. He doesn't let others' harsh words get to him, because he tries to be understanding, and wants to understand why that person lashed out. Now, if he does get hurt, does take something to heart (which is bound to happen regardless of his understanding nature)? He covers up his softer emotions with jokes and puns, quite the funny guy, and by helping others. He thinks crying isn't a bad thing but tries his hardest to not do it himself. He thinks talking about feelings is a good thing but won't talk about his own, unless it'll help someone else move on from their own troubles. He's always helping everyone else, but never himself. Seems like a stupid thing, but Wes actually isn't stupid; he's quite smart, and very aware of who he is, and how he's feeling. He can step back from a situation and look at it from all POVs, listen to all sides, and help keep the peace. He's a leader, looking out for everyone else, and easily being able to take the leads on things without a problem.

He's aware of others quite often, always looking out for any and everyone, ready to ask if something's wrong if something is off. He gets hints to back off, though, and will give someone their space if they want it. He watches people's reactions to himself, and if they seem to like physical contact, he can become quite the tactile person; if not, he keeps his hands to himself. He's very good at adjusting his reactions to things, and his levels of certain emotions, depending on who is around. If someone wrongs him, he doesn't get angry; instead, he tries to figure out what caused them to lash out at him, and see if he did do something without realizing it. He doesn't hold grudges and forgives very easily. He doesn't forget, however. When it comes to others though, he can be a bit overprotective of those being truly wronged, and doesn't hesitate to step up and try to resolve an issue, even if it hadn't involved him in the first place. Especially if it hadn't involved him in the first place.

Because while it may not seem like, it might seem like the opposite, Wes doesn't care for himself like he does others. Someone could say a offensive term to him, and he would fight the person over using the term, but not it being directed at his own person. If that someone said a offensive term to someone else, though? Wes is on them, ready for a fight, ready to defend, even if that person can defend themselves. He doesn't care, he stands up for whoever needs or doesn't need it, and he fights fiercely for them. He's quick to trust, to loyalty, which could be a possible fault. He's a people person, loves them, but he doesn't quite love himself like he does others. He doesn't see himself as someone worthy to defend passionately but others, he does. That could be viewed as low self-esteem, and honestly, it is. He's hard on himself, that's the problem; if he doesn't help someone, or doesn't win a fight, or doesn't make someone feel better, it weighs on him, makes him feel shitty about himself, and he doesn't quite shake that feeling ever. It doesn't make him any less determined to keep going, though, and keep trying, but he does often think about the people he didn't help rather than the ones he did. He beats himself up even though he knows that's a bad thing, but it's just something he can't stop.

In short, he's a sweet, self-aware, righteous idiot, who is head-strong, funny, and quick to defend the "little guys" with a low self-esteem and a heart three sizes too big.

★ History ★

Wes grew up with a mutant mother, Sally, a human father, Jake, and an older human brother, Luke. His mother never hid from them, and so Wes grew up in a positive environment when it came to the issue of mutants. His brother, once he hit middle school, began to act out, and became very negative and even hateful towards their mother. He was six years older than Wes, and when Wes was nine, Luke disappeared without a trace. Of course, even despite Luke's strange behaviour and his mix up with a bad group of peers, it was upsetting. Life moved on, and Wes discovered, like his mother, he was a mutant at the age of 12. His parents were supportive of him, but told him to be careful of where he used his new found "gift," as his mother called it. Years passed, Wes was careful with his power, very mindful of his parents. His mother was the one who taught him to have compassion for others, always volunteering her time at shelters of any sort, and even bringing Wes along to teach him the value of all human life. Wes quickly became the righteous little thing he is now, after seeing how some people treat the homeless or stray animals or etc. Wes wanted to make a difference in the world, help others, and he was often getting into fights at school for standing up to bullies. He was the kid who usually had a black eye or busted lip because he didn't keep quiet nor did he back down. His mother told him to tone it down but he couldn't, because bullies needed to be taught a lesson.

At fourteen, was when his whole world changed. The terrorist group, the Equalists, ripped through his town one night. They broke into his house and there were five of them, with weapons, so they overpowered his parents. They hadn't barged into his room yet and, much to Wes' confusion, he heard a deep voice snap out, "Not that room! He's human." But, Wes wasn't going to stand back and let these extra bad bullies hurt his parents. He was ready to fight them. However, by the time he got downstairs where they were at, holding his parents hostage, it was too late. They killed his mother right in front of him. Wes doesn't remember much after that. He blacked out after having released a deafening scream. He awoke to his father above him, blood on the sides of his neck; at first, Wes thought they had hurt him, but he realized later his ears had bled. His father tried to usher him out of the house but Wes refused; he wanted to see his mother, he had too. He struggled against his father and finally, his father let him, because Wes was determined and didn't back down when he had his mind set on something. He had to see his mother, though, make himself truly believe she was gone. And, she was. As he was mourning over her, a groan came from his left; his father was right beside him, and one of the men in the group were waking up. They all had blood below their ears and on the sides of their neck. Maybe some were even not breathing, Wes hadn't checked. The man that was waking up looked vaguely familiar to Wes. Actually, very familiar. And when the man leaned up, looked at Wes, and croaked out, "Well, kiddo, looks like you took after mom." Wes nearly lost it again.

His own brother got mixed up with one of the worse terrorist groups in the world, and came after his own mother, killed his own mother. His father lost it for him, attacking his eldest son, but Wes had managed to stop him before he beat Luke to death. When his father snapped why at him, Wes simply whispered, "Because mom wouldn't want you too." Afterward, they got the tiny group in their house arrested (two were, actually, dead, and Wes tries to not think about that), and had the funeral for his mother. Wes' father was distraught, a different man, and even his own father saw it. He said he couldn't take care of Wes like his mother had, couldn't teach him right, and so he was the one who brought Wes to Xavier's Institute For Gifted Youngsters. Wes hadn't wanted to leave him, but his father said he needed time, and Wes was one of the most understanding people around. So, he let his father help him with the joining process, said his goodbyes, and watched him go. Now, sixteen is slowly creeping up on Wes, and he managed to keep the attitude his mother would want him to have. At first, it was rough, adjusting to this new place and new people, but he never lost his need to help others, and always spoke up when it was needed. He is trying to be a person his mother would be proud of, and that is why he doesn't let the past weigh him down.

A happy childhood was never in the cards for Raylan. Born to abusive alcoholic father and drug addled mother. His childhood was more akin to a torture scene come to life than it was anything else. It was a heartbreaking situation to stay the least. Both is parents love him in their sort of messed up way. When they sober, they did everything they could to make up for their intoxicated actions. When they were intoxicated, the beatings were constant, and being used as ashtray wasn't out of the question.

His mother was too busy being in a drug included stupor to anything about what was going on. Those few hours a day she was sober, she would tend to him and do just enough to give hope that things may get better. The longer things went on, the more he realized they were never going to get better. There was one night that always stayed with him. He had spent the night in the forest when his father was in a bloody mood. Since Raylan wasn't there was, his mother became the sight of fathers need for brutality. The stupor she was in more than likely saved her life.

All the lights were out when he got home, it was like only ghosts and specters where in the house. When Raylan walked into the kitchen and saw what was left of his mother laying on the ground, that was the limit. Rayaln was used to beatings, so much so that he began egging the old man on more and more. Shouting things like 'This don't hurt me known!' 'That all you got old man?!' The old man never failed to met the challenge but Raylan was never going to let him win. When Raylan found his father passed out in the bathtub with the bottle still in his hand. Raylan softly took the bottle and drank what was left of it. An odd feeling of relief came over as he stared a hole into the thing tub. He decided that was never going to happen again.

Raylan started beating him as hard as he could. He didn't stop until his knuckles where torn apart. As the old man woke up and groaned in pain, Raylan thought that going to be the end of it. He thought for some reason, that everything was going to be better. He couldn't have been more wrong. When his parents came back home, it took all of three hours for his father to murder his mother. He tried to do the same for Raylan in the form of a stabbing. Thankfully for his father never stuck around to make sure the job was done. He wasn't even fifteen when it happened.

Before long he was homeless, sleeping wherever he could and hunting for food wherever he could. He found countless odd jobs making twenty dollars here, thirty dollars there. He spent what he could on food and the occasional place for a shower. If the truth were known, most of all his money went to getting his hands on alcohol and cigarettes.

Fate had one happy thing for him. On his way to get the day old bred that was going to be thrown out. He couldn't be hear the sounds of gloves hitting mits. He didn't know what the sound was, but he had to know what it was. As he walked in, he got his very first taste boxing and mixed martial arts. He ran away the moment anyone said a word to him. A few days later while digging for the old the bread. One of the guys from the gym spotted him and offered to buy him lunch.

As the lunch went on, Raylan learned that he was gyms owner. In time, Raylan would be taken in by the guys at the gym and didn't take long for the gym to become Raylan's home. He turned into a great fighter, and teacher. He even went back to school and graduated High school. It was like a fairy tale, for once Raylan got to be happy. He had finally found his family. Then his powers manifested.

He did everything he could to keep them hidden but it didn't take for the gym to find out about them. Raylan was more terrified of losing everything he had built over the last few years. Things were finally going well. He didn't want to end but he knew deep down that the end was coming. When word got out, Raylan knew he had to leave town.

Once again he was homeless, just like when he was a kid. The drinking, smoking and drug use crept back into his life. Only this time, he could fight. He boucned from town to town, staying just long enough for powers for flair up again. A day here, two or three days there.

Somehow he found his way to New York City. He did what he could to make enough to survive. He took underground fights and worked for gangs, anything to make ends meat. He hated his life, and started drinking more and more. It wasn't uncommon for him to bounce in and out of prison. One day in the his barren two room apartment, a letter came that told him of a place for mutants. Raylan was quick to dismiss it.

It took some time and a lot wearing down but eventually Raylan showed up at The Xavier's Institute For Gifted youngsters.

Appearance:

Standing in at just under five feet eleven, he carries 180 pounds on a lean body fit for fighters. Raylan body is covered in scars, more from his abusive childhood than fighting. He has two tattoos, one of dragon on his left arm and chest, the other of a phoenix on his right arm and chest. Both are half sleeves that extend over his chest muscle.

Raylan is a ruggedly handsome man. Dark, short hair with the sides kept shorter. His eyes are dark, almost like coal, they always seem empty or hollow. It's rare to see him in anything over than jeans, boots and t-shirt. His wardrobe is very small, more a product of a transient lifestyle than fashion tastes. He does wear a leather jacket that he is fond of.

Powers:Magnekinesis

Raylan is a mutant with the power to manipulate magnetic fields to achieve a wide range of effects.

The primary application of his power is control over magnetism and the manipulation of ferrous and nonferrous metal.

He can manipulate a number of individual objects simultaneously and has assembled complex machinery with his powers.

He can also affect non-metallic and non-magnetic objects to a lesser extent and can levitates himself and others. He can also generate powerful magnetic pulses.

Another way in which Raylan uses his power is the projection of force-fields which block out matter and energy. These fields are strong enough to withstand a few direct hits but not many.

For all the power that Raylan is capable of. It's controlling it that is more often than not the real struggle. Raylan has a habit of using too much power.

While using magnetic fields to lift a single isn't an issue, it's multiple objects that puts him under stress. His current limit is only three while maintaining control.

Pulses and force fields are a great ability to call upon. However the stress and strain it puts his body make a ability that can be used seldom.

Personality:

Raylan has a tendency for brooding and a predilection for self-harm. While he isn't for cutting or burning himself. He sure isn't shy to alienate others. Although its rare, coming home with more than few bruises and days worth of alcohol in his system is never out of the question.

He isn't what most people would call gregarious. His circle of friends is small and filled with questionable people. He isn't one to talk about past events, at all... Ever.

He has an obsessive and addictive personality. If something interests him has to learn about it. Eating, sleeping are optional to him. He loves to train, workout and play guitar. It's when his hands are idle and boredom hit that he becomes dangerous. It isn't uncommon for him to be off by himself training or playing his guitar, if you can even find him at all.

Under the gruff and cold exterior, there is a tiny light of hope. Raylan hates to see people suffer. He is always willing to help people who are willing to get hit and get back up. The hungry, the poor, the abused break his heart. He can not, and will not abide a bully.

Life at The Xavier's Institute For Gifted Youngsters is very far from his comfort zone. A little voice in his head keeps telling to him protect himself.

History:

Robert grew up in a middle class family in the Midwest. Parents were in business, and thus he did not have much to worry about in terms of the materialistic side of life. Emotionally, however, his parents were not always around to make sure he got a fully and healthy development. It is not to say he is deranged, but somewhat deprived would be a good way to describe it.

Around the age of 10, he began realizing that he was different from the other children. Water seemed to dance in the palm of his hands, and he can make them move as he wished. At first, he was excited to show his parents what he can do, as any child would. However, seeing his powers, his parents were fearful at first. As he continued to grow, his parents begun to forget, or ignore, the fact that he had powers. He did not experience any major emotional trauma or other triggers that made his power run rampant. In fact, his power has been rather tame most of his life...

Time continued to pass. His parents still worked more hours than they spent at home. Robert had to figure quite a few things out himself. He was around 13 when he had his first 'girlfriend'. Young love, it was. Innocent and pure. About six months passed. Him and his 'girlfriend' were doing what every other 13 year olds were doing, which was just about nothing. Suddenly, his 'girlfriend' moved. All communications were lost. At first, he was saddened. Then he was angry. Through the sadness and rage, he discovered another facet of his powers. He realized that he can actually shift the state of water, or other liquids, between solid and gas. This power frightened him. He decided to leave his family, for their safety. He wanted to distance himself from them before the inevitable event of him losing control of his powers and doing something he regrets.

Soon after, he was about to find Professor Latour. Through his guidance, he learned to control and even amplify his powers, being able to freely control the state of liquids now. As one of his older students, Robert stays at the school, helping Processor Latour with teaching the younger students how to control their gifts.

Appearance:
Robert is approximately six feet tall. Athletically built, he does not come off as particularly threatening or dangerous. His hair is black, kept semi-long and loose most of the time. On occasion, he will tie it up into a small ponytail. No, he will not refer to it as a man-bun. His eyes are dark brown, and can seem like they are peering into one's soul.

Powers: Manipulation of liquids.

Robert can control the various states of a liquid. From solid to gaseous, he can manipulate them to shift from one state to the other and move as he please. Typically, he controls water, as it is almost always readily available, in one of its three states. However, he forced to, or under extreme duress, he has shown the ability to control things like blood, lava and various gases.

Personality:
Robert is generally a happy individual. He loves to chat, laugh and share with others. However, those who truly know him or those who have gotten to know his deeply, they will know that at times, his cheery exterior and bright smile is a facade, covering his deep, dark, self. He is caring, willing to sacrifice himself to the benefit of others. This also makes him easy to be taken advantage of.

History:
His history is a rather sad one. He was born to parents with a similar mutation to his own. Meaning at one point, he was happy. He was a typical young child with green eyes and dusty blonde hair and a bright smile that seemed constant on his face. He always saw the positive side of things even when he was made fun of at school. Of course, he wondered why he was bullied. Why he was considered different. After all, he looked just like his peers (at the time) and was able to do all the same things, but they still picked on him. He was smaller then average, and to add on that his parents, while normal seeming, were considered odd. He loved his parents to no end so when they were killed he changed.

At the young age of 8, Loki found himself waking up to a fire. Panicked he tried to get to his parents, tried to get out of his room, but the flames were already consuming that part of their home. In order to escape, he shifted. In a panther cub form, he escaped the building by leaping into a tree and onto the ground. This was far to early for him and caused permanent changes, not only in his personality, but in his appearance. He ended up in foster care until the age of 18 when he was kicked out to be on his own. He heard of the institute, and has just recently decided to try it out.[/u][/b]

Appearance:

Loki is no longer small at 6 foot 2 and a buff build. His hair is a raven black with his eyes being a rather unnerving gold and more panther like then human. He has longer then normal canines and a glower that seems permanent on his handsome face. He is hardly ever seen in any form of color, preferring black which actually looks good on his slightly tanned skin. He also hardly seen in any form of formal wear, preferring t shirts and jeans. The last staple of his attire is black steel toe boots.

Powers:

Shapeshifting (animals):
Loki can turn into animals. Interestingly enough, he can only shift into carnivores. This could be due to him shifting before he was old enough to be able to fully handle it and the choice of his first shift. Anything he does transform into is melanistic and has his eyes, which can lead to some uncomfortable combinations.
Due to his ability, he is stronger then average. This is due to having the strength of his main animal form: the panther.

<sub>"I'm not letting him join your goddamn X-Men!" Emily Garrick said, her face stern and angry. She could not let him do this, considering that mutants are being hunted day and night by those villainous Equalists. She wasn't going to loose Taylor as well. She calmed herself down, and realized. What would Jason would've want for him? And she sighed, he'd want for Taylor to make his own choice.

Waking up at three years old, in an alleyway with newspapers and trash while being hated by humanity is something no one would want to go through. Yet this child did, his mother and father had left him to die on the streets once they had seen his powers. There is such a hollow void in his mind, something was always missing, the blurry memories were all he had. The boy wanted to know them, he always had. The boy had always had an serious expression when he was little.

He grew up on the streets, with no one to support him. He stole food, shoplifted candy or clothes, about doing anything he could to survive. It was rough, sure but it kept him alive, and his ability to jump high helped him when it came to stealing or finding food. It was a hard life, but he never complained. He could've been dead, but he was still here.

After a year of their marriage, Emily and Jason Garrick had wanted a child, unfortunately they tried but they couldn't. They believed in equality for mutants and humans. So when they found the unnamed dirty blonde preteen that had the ability to jump higher than the average human, they had adored him, not caring of his abilities. They adopted him and gave him the name Taylor Jason Garrick. And they treated him like he was their actual son. And now he had something to fill those blurry memories with.

His secondary mutant power had became active when he was being jumped by a group of thugs. He was walking home from his high school, since his foster parents wanted him to have a good education, and was attacked and almost killed. These thugs wanted his wallet, and he had said no. As soon as he was on the ground, and threw one off of him into a wall by just struggling, they ran off. And he had realized that he had super strength.

Taylor and his parents were happy. Unfortunately, good things don't last. Jonas, Taylor's father was hit by an car when walking down the road. The car was speeding, and Jason had no time to see it. The driver kept on driving, and was never caught, at least yet. They tried to save him in the hospital, but couldn't. This changed Taylor into the way he is now.

It didn't take a long amount of time after his father's death for the group of mutants fighting for the right cause known as the X-Men, noticed Taylor's incredible abilities and wanted to recruit him. Taylor wanted to make a difference in the world, and like his father said. It was his choice.

And what was his answer? Yes.</sub>

Appearance:

<sub>Taylor, for a young man like himself, has a very decent body build. A decent six pack. He has dirty blonde hair, if it was any darker it would be brown. His eyes are a pale green, and his height is about 6'1". The teenager weighs about 142 lbs, around the average weight for a 17 year old male. His hair is always short, his sideburns usually being a darker blonde than the rest of his hair.

His eyebrows are also about the same color as his sideburns. The right side of his shoulder seems to be a stab wound, from the day he was jumped. He also has two tiny slash marks on his chest, from the same fight. He does also seem to have some bruises, it seems to be the only marks he has on his body.

His body build seems to be the equivalent of an athlete. A very slim build, but with a good enough amount of muscle. He would be considered a very handsome teenager to society, if he wasn't a Mutant of course.</sub>

Powers:

<sub>Taylor has the ability to jump high, and somewhat fast. Simulating a mini-rocket going up in the air, which is the reason Rocket is his codename. He can reach many distances, and has even climbed up a building with jumping only 7 times. This is obviously something the natural human could never do. He can sort of climb buildings by jumping on the wall, going in the air, and jumping up again to repeat the process, sort of like bouncing sideways. He can also charge his jumps, making him go even higher than normal. This can be a problem though, considering it takes up a lot of stamina, depending on how high the jump. Somehow, gravity doesn't affect him when he lands back on the ground.

He also has super strength. He can punch through walls, and break one of the opponent's ribs with a good punch. He can pick up objects like an car, or an lamp post. But this would be the equivalent to picking up a long dumbbell without any help. If he's rather angry, his super strength could be amplified a little to the point where can tap glass and a big crack would appear, and if he'd tap it harder, it would full shatter. This goes well with his super jumps, he could dig his hands into the wall like a pickaxe going into rock, helping him climb up if he slips. He basically has the standard super strength abilities.</sub>

Personality:

<sub>Taylor isn't the average irresponsible, non-caring teenager. Matter of fact, he's the exact opposite of that. He cares a lot about his friends, family, or lovers. He seems to goodhearted and wants equality just like his parents. He is not really the social type though, which is one of his biggest problems. He doesn't really like to talk the others, he's usually quiet and just thinking. He is overall a serious person for a young man his age. But he isn't stern, and does smile and laugh at people's jokes.

He selectively becomes friendly to people over time. He doesn't naturally start liking a ally in the first couple of days like anyone else would. He studies them first, see how they act towards others, see what they like, and if then he chooses if to rather be friends with them or not. A very weird way of making friends.

He's not sure about what sexuality he is, and seems emotionally distant, when he isn't. He's just confused, he doesn't know if he likes a guy or girl, or both. Which makes his love life a little bit complicated, considering he has never had a boyfriend or girlfriend. This is something he would like to explore.

He's not much of a interesting person, but he does seem to have potential. He follows orders, and will cooperate with teammates, even if he doesn't like that certain teammate.</sub>

Aaliyah was originally born in Toronto, Canada and was the youngest of two siblings with her being the only girl, Both her birth parents are Canadian, Her current step-father is American. At the age of four the family was split when her birth parents split up with the father leaving the mother to look after herself and the two children. Although the years were tough, Aaliyah mother was soon into another relationship with a guy from America, It all seemed to good to be true when they decided to marry and by the time Liya was eight years old, They made the move to live in America and settled in Florida. She grew up under the watchful eyes of her brother who was protective of his younger sister as he for some reason didn't take to well to having to move.

Life was pretty normal for the most part for Aaliyah as she was getting a good normal upbringing, However her brother was getting in trouble by causing arguments within the household, This was compounded by the fact their step-father was hardly home because of his work, Aaliyah was enrolled into the girl scouts at the time. It was not long before her teenage years that the first evidence of Aaliyah's abilities when her parents were arguing, This really upset and annoyed the girl, It caused the area to have heavy rain which eventually intensified into a thunderstorm, It remained quite consistent unaware it was her actually causing it until her older brother came and spent some hours with Liyah convincing the young child everything was going to be okay, This cheered her up causing the thunderstorms to stop, But the rain persisted for several days after and only within a few miles of her location.

From this moment on the rest of Aaliyah's child and teenage years were plagued with troubles. Although her brother got his life on track, He continued to get into arguments and the odd fight with their step-father for not spending as much time with the family as he should, The later buried himself further into his work leaving liyah feeling more and more disconnected when she needed her family most when her powers was manifesting more pressing her need to adapt fast to the changes, Her Mother did the best she could to care and love her children but it was taking its toll, Aaliyah tried to channel her aggression once when she got into a fight with her step-father, arguing, when she was angry at him, a hailstorm demolished his car. Her brother had enough and had his suspicions of his younger sister, But in her excitment of wanting to show of her abilities to him, She confimed his suspicions when she made it snow in the midle of summers day and has never really recited or told others of this.

Aaliyah had a big scare when she was almost diagnosed with diabetes from the doctors, Fortunately it was only a scare but it was certainly enough for her to a few little changes to what she ate and drink, Aaliyah was eventually caught after being attacked by the Equalists, But before being subdued after her family was threatened. She managed to knock a few members of the group back with a strong wind and struck another with Lightning, Injuring but not killing the Individual. The fight was responsible for a powerful storm in Miami, reports came in as causing major damage and injuries which baffling many at the time leaving more questions than answers.

Appearance:

Aaliyah has long wavy black hair with a blue and purple tints at the front, It falls to shoulder length just draping over her shoulders, She prefers to wear it freely but may at times tie it up. Aaliyah stands roughly at 5''4 with a figure of 34-24-34 and weigthing roughly 115lbs, Although it is rude to ask a girl her weight. Liyah has small cheeks, a medium size nose, hands, and ears with delicate slightly over average size lips, With easy to get lost into chocolatey eyes and a brown skin complexion. Typically Aaliyah likes to wear black high heel or standard combat boots, Black or blue Jeans or short jeans with short sleeve blouses, off shoulder and crop tops with at times black leather or denim jackets.

Liyah likes to keep herself in good condition by working out but she is by no means under or overweight, Aaliyah is a attractive individual depending on ones personal taste but has a good feminine figure. Although she wont let it get to her head or think of herself being perfect in any way, She's toned to the point of being lightly muscled yet there’s no mistaking she does have some curves in the right places. Aaliyah also has a tattoo with it going from her Right shoulder blade and making it's way down her back.

Powers:

Atmokinesis - Often referred as Weather manipulation by some, Aaliyah has the psionic ability to sense, Create, Shape and control the weather in its various forms like Meteorological patterns and temperature changes thus creating rain, wind, hail, lightning, snow, sleet, fog/mist, blizzards, thunderstorms, tornado's and more while supposedly being able to dissipate weather to clear skies. Although Aaliyah has yet to exhibit or show all of her mutations various uses, The potential is there. However some of this potential is shown, Having good enough control over her power so far to use it in highly concentrated areas like inside a room and naturally of course outside in her immediate vicinity effecting weather up to a few miles around her, potentially more.

Aaliyah's Psionic power of atmokinesis can also be effected by her emotions, One consequence of this connection to nature is her emotional state could results in violent weather where her ability could manifest unintentionally depending on her mood at the time where a thunderstorm could form in response to extreme feelings of rage or fear. Liyah can also aim lightning from thunderstorms and or from herself by channelling ambient electromagnetism through her body to generate lightning at others with the added potential of putting this into atmokinetic combat as Liyah is a capable hand to hand fighter but not trained, She has not shown evidence of being able to livitate or fly thus far and her mutation does have natural limits of her body plus other factors of distance, mass, precision are dependent upon the knowledge, skill and strength of Aaliyah which can effect her ability to generate the weather effects.

Personality:
Aaliyah is a sweet but tough kind of girl with a can do attitude that can get jobs done; either dirty, hard, or easy. A confident and Fearless individual who would use a tough-girl role as a defensive tool to keep strangers at a safe distance. She is determined, stubborn, brave and at times, foolish. Aaliyah tries to keep a strong idea of what is good and wrong but that does not always work out, she isn't the type to make friends fast, To her trust takes time and shouldn't be something fast to toss around in the current world. Liyah loves her music and is as likely to listen to metal music as she is calm, just depends on what she feels like listening to at the time and may even sing to it when she is in her own world. The Canadian lass likes keeping active but is also likely to be seen on the sofa feet up drawing, Yep surprisingly she likes to draw to.

Aaliyah is comfortable in telling people exactly how she feels, Not hesitating to speak her mind on certain subjects, She wont beat around the bush either which has often in the past got herself into conflicts because of it. Liyah is an approachable person and considers herself kind, open and honest, She is quite wary knowing more than she lets on, Liyah can be aggressive having a fiery temper when in a foul mood, But don't let her flaws fool you, She can have a laugh, be friendly and Sympathetic to others capable of giving second chances and do random acts of weirdness. Liyah is the type however that is completely loyal to those who do right by her, She can become highly protective over those she deems closest to her, Willing to go as far as risk herself to do what she can for them when in need.
