James Varrock, The Guardian|Hyrule Fields

When the 'God of Damage suddenly shifted gears to obsess over Ghost, James knew that the potentiality for violence had passed, at least for the time being. Before he could answer though, Ghost phased back into his floating position next to his head and spoke for himself. "I am a Ghost, created by the Traveler to find and assist a Guardian. I have no schematics as the ability to recreate an exact copy of a Ghost is impossible without the Traveler's aid. This here, the charming young man who you were aiming your shotgun at not but moments before, is James Varrock. I just call him Guardian." He looks around and sighs. "And the longer we're here, the more I doubt we're on Earth." With that handled, James turned to Aki and had Ghost pull up a holographic image of a Thrall, perhaps the most numerous of the Hive's forces.

"I apologize miss Aki, but I've never heard of these Aragami of which you speak. This, however, is one of the many Hive subspecies, a Thrall. They like to swarm you and slash you to ribbons, or try to anyways, with their claws. They aren't the toughest of enemies when you're facing down the Hive, but they are some of the highest in number." James frowns, beginning to realize the implications. "The Hive are Minions of the Darkness, the Traveler's oldest enemy. If you all aren't familiar with them...Have any of you heard of the Traveler before? Or the Collapse? Ever seen the Fallen?" For emphasis, Ghost pulls up the image of a Dreg. "Do any of you even know what this is?"

If not, then they most definitely weren't on Earth, which would explain why they couldn't establish contact with the Vanguard or their jump ship. Which begged the question, if they weren't on Earth, or even the Sol System anymore, where exactly were they?

Hey there. Aki, was it? I'm the Scout, fastest and greatest person around. You ain't neva gonna see a more badass fella than me."

Hearing the the boast and introduction Aki had to stifle a laugh this guy was was funny and if she learned anything from her life so far and her time at Fenrir was that you learn to appreciate the small things in life. "My that is quite a claim but I do enjoy someone who can talk the talk the only question is if you can walk the walk." She replied to her scout was interesting she never met someone quite like him so that part was true.

Turning her head to address the "guardian" she noticed one thing while there are some similarities they were literally speaking of different things.
"Those hive subspecies you said I never seen before while the thrall has a common shape with some aragami I am sure I never seen anything quite like that. Though I do have a theory going by the stories so far I am going to propose that perhaps we are from different realities or timelines." Aki said her voice soft the theory of hers even she was going to call it outlandish yet the facts was all there and with all options pointing to something else she was positive that in the long run the people she met was from somewhere not plauged by aragami in the slightest.

Scout - Hyrule Fields

Scout grinned confidently, pleased to have gotten Aki to laugh. To him, he considered that a success, as it was the first step to wooing her. Now came the next step: making himself look good with girls. In other words, bragging about himself. A LOT. "Oh, I can do more than just 'walk the walk', I can RUN the walk. These legs of mine were trained to go fast, and believe me, they're the best legs I could ever want. I have a team, right, and they rely on me to do all the work, y'know, cuz I'm the best. Scout continued to talk, unaware that Aki was no longer paying attention to him. By the time Scout actually opened his eyes to look around, Aki was already finished revealing her theory about what was happening.

"Wait, what?" Scout said, not having caught it.

Without skipping a single beat, Gaige followed the Ghost as it shifted positions back to its... Master? Partner? Companion? Eh, whatev. They both had some pretty damn sweet tech though, and she just couldn't wait to get a look at it! Then the Ghost projected a holographic image, and Gaige paid perfect attention, just to the wrong thing. While the others were looking at the hologram itself and comparing the monsters they had seen before, Gaige was eyeing the projector itself and mentally figuring out how the little robot made the magic happen. Mathematics, formulas, and scientific hypothesis swirled around in her head, plastering that giant goofy grin right on her face. All the while the young girl invaded the Ghost's, and by proximity James Varrock's, personal space. She shifted about, in front of, beneath, behind, and off to every side imaginable, poking at prodding at the robot with her hands and tools, though she dare not actually use the tools to take it apart. So it had no schematics, huh? It was impossible to recreate without something called "The Traveler," huh? Well challenge accepted!

"My that is quite a claim but I do enjoy someone who can talk the talk the only question is if you can walk the walk." The other girl, whom Gaige hadn't paid much attention to, spoke and the mechromancer jolted out of her mechanically obsessed stupor. Straightening up, Gaige rolled her eyes at Aki.

"You should probably try to keep up, because I, like, totally already came to that conclusion forever ago. I even already told you two new guys, remember? I said, and I quote, 'OhmygodIloverobotstheyareSOCOOLyouknowwhatImeanofcourseyoudobecauseyouhaveoneandit'sadesignI'veneverseenbeforeohmanyou'vegottobefromanotherparallelrealitytoowiththiscoolbadassgearandthissupersweetrobotIjustwanttodiveintoyourdiagnosticsandcheckyourschematicssobadwhat'syournamelittlerobo-buddy?' See? 'You've got to be from another parallel reality too.'"

Gaige then looked over to the only one of the group that she was already acquainted with, completely failing to notice that Scout was in the middle of trying to impress yet another girl. "Geez, what a bunch of slowpokes, right Scout? Anyway, we really should be finding that green-hair girl. Her name is Terra, and she's part of my party right now. I can tooootally mark you two on my ECHO as being part of our group too. That way we can stay in touch and figure out what the hell is going on and get back to our worlds."

James Varrock, The Guardian|Hyrule Fields

James and Ghost glanced at each other as this 'God of Damage' went on a short rant about having already stated she thought they were all from some parallel reality and the former chuckled. "Well, Ghost, why don't you shoot your theory. And while we're at it, how about a real name, miss God of Damage? Pleasure to meet you Scout." Though judging from the way the guy liked to just talk a big game, he was unsure if the pleasure would last. Ghost shook his head.

"I still don't know enough about where we are to give any solid theories, though if I had to give my guess now, I'd agree with miss Aki's alternate reality theory. Now, miss God of Damage, if I might see your communication device briefly." When the device is produced, he scans it, a triangle of thin blue beams of light appearing and then disappearing. The process is repeated with everyone's and then James nods.

"Now we can contact each other and I won't accidentally shoot you in the future. Well, I hope I don't shoot you. You guys have shielding, right?" He chuckles lightly and looks around. "Oh, you're also all in my fireteam, so I can track you if needed." He'd been putting some thought into it and he realized that if he went from the series of buildings where they all seemed to be coming from when he intervened and followed it in a straight line. And it lead to a castle wall with the drawbridge down.

Ghost had since disappeared from visual sight in a series of light blue, almost transparent lines, no longer visible to anyone. However, he could still speak privately to James. "It seems strange that there's a castle here. Especially after all the ruins I visited back on Earth looking for you." This solicited a chuckle from the Guardian as he started walking towards it as the sun made it's trip across the sky. He spoke quietly so only Ghost could hear.

"Maybe, but all the same I'd say it's where this Terra went. Once we've found everyone who doesn't look to be from here, maybe we can figure out where to go. Personally, that bridge to the right of us leads into the mountains. Could be something interesting up there." Ghost groaned, his icon in the top right of James' HUD spinning like it does when he talks.

"Of course you'd want to get right back into danger even without my resurrection matrix."

Terra Branford - Hyrule Castle Town

The flames seemed to have no effect on the zombie creature as it lunged at the girl and latched itself to her back. The strange noises it was making seemed to suggest that it was feeding which seemed to be further proved as the girl dropped her weapon her eyes starting to flutter as if she was getting close to passing out.

Knowing that her flames had no effect on the creature and that the girl was too close to it to risk another fire spell Terra did the only thing that came to mind. She screamed. "HEY!" She wasn't sure what she'd expected to happen from that one act but it was not this. The creature detached itself from its prey as it became aware of Terra. It fixed its gaze upon her and opened its mouth. From the depths of its being came a primal terror inducing screech. In that moment everything that Terra had ever feared came raging to the surface of her mind in an endless loop leaving her frozen in place, frozen with terror.

The creature started to stalk towards her growing ever closer, almost close enough to touch her. In that moment the power of its screech dissipated leaving Terra about to think. In a desperate bid to stop it from doing to her what it had to the other girl Terra fixed the creature straight in the eye and shouted one word "Break!" Transfixed by her gaze the creature froze in place. Terra concentrated all her will power on maintaining eye contact with the creature, on ceasing its movement. She started to back away slowly into an adjoining alley way. Without looking away for moment or breaking her concentration Terra shouted. "Get over here. It's not fast we can outrun it." As the girl began to move Terra slowly backed even further from the creature keeping eye contact as long as possible. When she felt any more distance would destroy the spell anyways Terra shouted "Run! and turned away from it to flee down the street. They came to a stop breathing hard almost three blocks away. Hopefully the creature had lost interest by that point.

@Kafka Komedy, do forgive me for moving your character. I wished to write in the next plot movement without having to wait for a response which I figured would look something like "Red grabbed her sword and followed Terra down the alley". If you wanted this scene to go a different way or I've done something wrong tell me and I'll rewrite it.

Hildibrand Manderville - Hyrule Fields

Without a horse Hildibrand was forced to follow his compatriots on foot. As they exited the ranch he could hear in the distance the sound of a rooster crowing, signifying the coming day. Immediately his skeletal friends who'd been clamoring to get closer to him disappeared into the ground. It was a real shame he thought. They were always most helpful to him.

Hildibrand lacked the speed to content with Gaige and Scout's mounts so as he was reaching the dispute that had cropped up between his comrades and another group who'd seemingly mistook their pursuit of Terra to possess malicious intent Gaige had already settled the matter. It seemed these two new comers had decided to accompany them on their quest and so Hildibrand decided to hand over his Matiek Transceiver for this Guardian to scan before they all started moving towards the castle.

Before they could reach their destination however something terrible began to happen. The ground started to shake. So violent was the tremor that Hildirbrand only barely managed to remain on his feet. But it was not merely the earth that had begun to move. Over their heads the sky was in complete disarray. Bolts of lightning ripped through the heavens seeming to tear it apart. Some hit the ground with unmeasurable force leaving scorch marks in their wake. Storm clouds and sunny skies seemed to battle each other making the heavens appear a giant war zone. That was not the extent of the chaos. Hildibrand himself began to vibrate. As he looked down at his hands the shaking became so intense that he seemed to be able to see two of himself crossing back and forth before in a brilliant shine of light Hildibrand vanished with a shout of "MANDERVILLE!". His screamed trailed off at he disappeared before their eyes leaving nothing but his Magitek Transceiver behind.

In another few moments the tremors stopped and the sky settled but the land they now looked at was almost completely alien to the one that had existed before. Geographically they were near identical, the sky had more or less reestablished itself however looking around you could hardly call it Hyrule Field anymore. Where Death Mountain used to stand their was a partition in the air. Almost as a portal. What seemed to be stationary lightning separated the sky of this other place from that of Hyrule Field. It was not this one area either. All around Hyrule Field there were these strange rifts. Like gashes in the air. Each sported a different color of energy separating it from it's neighbor. You could no longer see the majestic view of Death Mountain or river leading to Zora's Domain. These were all replaced by the most unusual sights. Some of these portals did not touch the ground at all but existed superimposed over the sky. Only Hyrule Castle Town and it's borders remained solid though the great castle that had stood behind them was now gone, replaced by a black energy field.

Big Sisters - Gourd Lake

The Fifth Big Sister who's designation was Subject Zeta addressed Candy Cane's outburst as though it were normal, more than that as though it were amusing. "Perhaps you serve no purpose." She said as though thinking through possibilities. "Or perhaps you will find yours is a power not expressed by physical force." She seemed to shrug. "Or perhaps you will die before you achieve anything of worth."

The other five Big Sisters as Henry's fireball approached them lifted their hands. A blast of ice issued from them that negated the flames entirely. It was in that moment that the ground started to shake. Just as it had happened in Hyrule the sky was ripped apart, space seeming to shatter as the sky was perforated with images of other places. The first Big Sister who was known as Subject Delta began to laugh. "It has begun!" she shouted over the roar of the wind.

In this moment Zeta turned back to Candy Cane. "Then again, maybe you will find power where you least expect it, by the hand of an enemy." Zeta pulled from her suit a vial and touched the enormous needle on her arm to it. A red liquid that seemed to glow poured from the needle into the vial. "This is called Adam, it is the source of our powers. It could do the same for you, all you need do is inject it." She set the vial along with a hypodermic needle full of a blue liquid down at Candy Cane's feet. "The choice is yours, use what you have or die without the power to protect yourself." She said with a sly grin that no one could see.

"ZETA!" Delta shouted over the uproar of many dimensions crashing into one another. "Leave your play thing and let us go. Our mission awaits us."

The wind and violence of the world that shook so violently many could not remain on their feet began to die down in that instant as the worlds settled into their final positions.

As they did Delta surveyed them with a smile behind her helmet. Then she turned to her sisters. Alpha, seek out out the Spear Pillar on grid three zero four of the temporal axis. I will locate the corresponding Pillar along the spacial axis." The Big Sister nodded and vanished appearing next to one of the spacial distortions in the world. She stepped through it and vanished. Then Delta turned to the other Big Sisters issuing orders to each of the three remaining ones in sequence. "Theta, take what we need from Black Mesa, be wary of the Combine. Gamma, bring me a subspace detonation device and the R.O.Bs that control its interface. Zeta, retrieve the containment unit of the Shadows that created the Dark Hour. You have your assignments. We will revive the Rapture Family, here. The surface world is ours by right." Then each of the Big Sisters vanished in a purple haze appearing next to different tears in the fabric of space. Each entered one and was lost to view.

James Varrock, The Guardian|Hyrule Fields

When the tremor had hit, James had instinctively rolled off to the right and drew the Ace of Spades free of it's holster, only to be knocked off his feet by another. He was able to regain his feet a second time before a third hit, but he didn't fall over again, this time bracing for it. He turned in time to see one of their number disappear, leaving only his communications device behind. Lightning had struck all around them and without needing any goading, the remainder of the group made a break for the ramparts across the bridge, making it just as several bolts of lightning scorched the earth on the other side of the bridge.

When everything died down, the group proceeded into town with caution, skirting the strange creature that seemed to be looking for someone or something and reaching the town proper. Nothing of interest besides it's patchwork appearance of new and damaged stuck out immediately to James and he turned to the others. "If Terra's here, it'll be faster to split up to find her. Any objections?"

Geralt of Rivia- Hyrule Castle Town

One moment, Geralt was riding his horse, Roach, along a path in Novigrad.

The next, he was in the middle of a small town center, paved with stone, riddled with monsters. Quickly hopping off of Roach's back, Geralt groaned as he pulled out his silver sword. "Must've gone through a portal...blacked out, forgot exactly what happened. Medallion's not humming, either. Not good..." The look of the own itself unsettled Geralt deep into his core. It was only small details: a few bricks looking wrong, a single shutter broken, just small details that stuck out like a sore thumb against a sheet of paper.

"Probably necrophages. Look like Drowners, but wrong. So slow compared to the-" Geralt's ramblings were cut short as a mind-numbing screech tore through his soul, rooting him to the very spot. His mind was filled with horrific visions- Ciri and Yennefer, flayed and hanged, his friends Dandelion and Zoltan burned at the stake, among other unsavory images. Geralt knew this was some kind of psychic attack, but knowing that and being unaffected by it were two completely different things.

As the monstrous creature drew closer, Geralt's hand began to twitch, his fingers attempting to move so he could cast Axii and give this monster a taste of its own medicine. His hand failed to move properly, however, and instead Geralt found himself surrounded by a field of magic, and the creature suddenly slowed drastically, his mind and body freed from the spell. "Yrden, not Axii. Works, though."

Stepping around to the creature's side, Geralt brought his sword down through its chest, pulling the blade out of flesh and spinning to direct a second cut through its arm, but the blade stopped at the bone this time. "Damn thing's tou-" Yrden fell, and Geralt found himself once more frozen by the undead creature, but this time he hadn't the luxury of distance between them. Almost as soon as he was frozen, the monster mounted Geralt, and he felt his body grow heavy as it sucked the life from him.

Had to be Aard this time. Blast the thing away, then run. The Wild Hunt has Ciri! He found it so difficult to concentrate on moving his hand. The images were overpowering him. Monsters, corpses, wars, battle, he could handle-but losing Ciri would kill him. You'll never see her again! The Empress will be too busy for a lowly Witcher!

Geralt's vision started to fade.
