Well, the feeling is mutual! Maybe there'll be a kerfuffle, or a hostage swap, or maybe something else. It's (wonderfully) hard to predict you lot sometimes.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I found some dinosaur shaped cake moulds in the back of my cupboard this morning and so have used them as a convenient excuse to not wrestle with a sewing machine.

Post will likely be on Monday, I'm afraid - today is going to be a bit busy, so my plan is to read up on posts today, get a vague framework for a reply sorted in my head, and then flesh it out into something readable tomorrow when I'll have some time alone to do so!

Also, it's, like, six o'clock in the morning. I have no idea why I'm awake. Ugh.

I don't usually mind early mornings, but we all accidentally stayed up to ~3am courtesy of sugar and feelings and Ultimate Chicken Horse, and so today has been an exciting blend of "trying not to fall asleep" and "dealing with a sewing machine that has developed a taste for human blood". I have next to no idea how cosplayers cope with those things.

Post will be up tomorrow morning. Framework of it and the obligatory rambling asides are ready, just need to give it another pass after a proper night of sleep!

Wow, you sure do put a lot of work into your posts. And here I am, just posting my first draft. Making it up as I go along. That's dedication. I'm not sure whether to be impressed or intimidated. o_o

The GM Hat is weighty both with responsibility and those weird, brightly coloured decorate feathers they put on wedding hats.

Complaints about hats notwithstanding, I wouldn't feel too intimidated - some of it is because I know that I'll end up writing long, rambling things unless I give myself a bit of structure to follow and I'll rewrite stuff again and again and again until I'm happy with it. This is my third fourth attempt at writing this paragraph, for instance! If I start writing as things pop into my head, it turns into a complete mess.

Anyway, I'm going to read what I've got so far, have my breakfast, and get cracking with the day.

Post is up. Breakfast is mostly devoured. Kitchen is almost tidied. The sewing machine has been packed away. The lark's on the wing. The snail's on the thorn. God's in His heaven. All's right with the world!

I have a mini game planned @Hylozoist.

The bees will be in three teams.
I will send the bees out into the maze of tunnels.
You will tell me what they will find.

An example would be:
Team A found a dead end down the left tunnel.
Team B found a fork in the road down the forward tunnel.
Team C found a ladder leading to a sewer hatch.

My job is to try to find a way out the underground maze using luck, alongside a little intuition. But time is of the essence. Every choice takes time. The tunnels are filling up with water so we can't take too long.

Let's talk about turns. If I choose to go down the left tunnel and come upon a dead end then I would have to go back to where I started. That would take two turns. If I choose to go down the right tunnel and come upon an intersection, then that only counts as one turn. That's because I wasn't forced to turn back. We can discuss how many turns I will have to escape.

What happens when my turns run out? Well, that can be up for discussion as well. I would prefer that little nugget to be kept clandestine so as not to spoil what happens next. So yeah, this matter is best discussed over PMs.

Yeah, that's mostly on me, sorry - I'm a little busy until Friday, and if there's not been any movement by then, I'll make another post and try to get things moving a little. I've got some stuff planned for handling Fiddlesticks in the tunnels to run him through, and I've some thoughts about how I might explosively escalate things above ground if needs be.

Edit: Done! Using an actual keyboard and mouse that works is so much nicer.
