Just in case it becomes necessary for some reason I am going to roll up a GMPC. He is kind of there is the event that way he can give A direction. There is no such thing as a right direction in my campaign since it is open world but you never know when someone popping up can be helpful.

I have no idea what I'm meant to post given all that. Even if I was one of the named guys, I would have no idea what to post. It doesn't really do much for scene-setting or getting to meet the other characters.

I am setting the strategic scene due to the disparate groups allowing you guys to set your own tactical scenes. This is an open and living world so you can be almost anywhere, there is something that Muse knows about that will end up "guiding" her group and Imagi and Crayt together. You character though is not coming down from the upper hive levels and so i do not know as well were they would be at the moment. Depending on where you put your character when this starts depends on what I post in regards to them.

For Crayt and Imagination for example once Imagination posts posts I will take what descriptors they used to find a place in the hive where they fit and put little X's on their locations. So far Crayt is going to really, really love where his description puts him. Panicking civilians all over the place, mid to lower hive level and appears seedy. Hehehehe, I hope you got around to reading a little bit about some of the other tomes Crayt because right now you are the person with the best shot of getting what is about to happen.

You commented before OOC about finding others to help you with that little thing you found. I am telling you now that solo you are not going through the front door of that thing barring Tzeentch himself favoring your rolls. You can be heading up to the mid level of the hive from the lower levels looking for people to help you with what you found and get caught up with these shenanigans.

I can't interact WITH the cultists, I can't hide FROM the cultists, and a post of 'get the hell away from them' is exactly what I was doing anyway--heading upwards. No wonder I didn't notice them if they're behind me.

So... hope someone else is interested in Argent, or has a better idea. Because right now all there is is 'keep heading away from the tide of death'. Which isn't worth making an IC post for.

... but really, what are you even expecting me to do in this situation?

We need to come up with a plan, there's no going forward into the cultists of Khorne, there's a certain air of futility hiding in anyone of the surrounding buildings, and retreating would just inevitably bring them to us anyway. I'm going to reread the post, we should all consult each other and come up with something.

How am I supposed to spot you when I completely failed to notice thousands of cultists until they were catching up? XD

I'm sure you're close by. Either way, I propose we retreat further into the Hive into the ferrocrete concrete buildings/fortifications. We need to draw them in though. So by the time the cultists catch up to us we can find a spot to fortify ourselves while additionally allowing the cultists and the imperials duke it out. We sorta let them fight each other.

I'm not really sure whether we're trying to go up, down, or sideways, now.

Though retreating to the aforementioned sturdy building would be a good start. Wherever exactly they are.

You are nearing the end of the mid-hive levels and approaching the lower hive hence the buildings becoming less sturdy. Rainah you did not notice the cultists until now because their march is only now close enough for you to even see the banner. They are still a long ways off and have not seen you yet.

Do not worry, in a post or two things will be getting very interesting very fast. If you read the post for Muse and Poly also you can probably note the very near future.
