So, in this post I've begun to write for Samuel. It's going to consist mostly of flashbacks that reveal things about the overarching story of the whole play and eventually connect and tie everything together, hopefully. It's intentionally cryptic, but when we catch up to certain points in the story, it will all make more sense.

Long story short, they think we live in something like the Matrix... minus the whole hooked up to a machine thing. So basically... *thinks about* our reality is an (projected) "illusion"? Or so I would guess is what they are saying.

I don't like making excuses for myself, but!
Unfortunately I have bad news for my absence reasoning, the baby took a turn for the worse over the weekend, her lungs are not completely developed and has been struggling with breathing and keeping down food.
So she was transferred to another hospital unit that is an hour or so from where we live - which isn't too bad.
But I was with my brother and them all weekend, some freakin' holiday, and I just came back this morning.

I've been slacking off with my posts because of it but, I'm sure everyone here understands, so I'll post sometime tonight. With the situation at hand though, I'll inform you guys if I'm going to be away for a while, the next few months are going to be busy with my cousin's wedding, holidays, my own preparations for school [finally] and so on and so forth with my niece since some family are being entirely... well, every vulgar word and description I can imagine.

Long story short, I am still here!

Rockette, darling, that's terrible! I felt a small thud in my chest when I read that! I truly hope that she will be okay and that everything works out. We totally understand your predicament. When you do find time to post, make them as short as you want and use whatever language you're most comfortable and fastest with.

Hmm… Prisk, what’s the plan for future plots? After you revamped the Codex/Combat Guideline/etc., I noticed the “future story plan” part gone, so I was just wondering.

Welcome back, Oz! Things are moving a lot slower, but we are moving.

@JJ, well, I can tell you the plans for the immediate future of the story. I don't think it'll spoil things too much, but I'll put it in a hider anyway.

plot points

1. Conversation with Sofia.
2. Sounds of activity deeper within the facility draws attention, and the group follows the trail of blood further.
3. Meeting and short conversation with Samuel.
4. Samuel uses an old displacement device to teleport himself away. The energy burst from the device causes the facility to crumble and fall apart, and the friends have no other choice than to use the teleporter themselves.
5. The friends end up next to the Tree of Life (title image). This is where you can change your spirits if you want to.
6. The friends have a discussion regarding what they learned from Samuel and what they should do next to stop him.
7. ...

& Prisk, thank you so much for condolences and understanding. They found temporary housing near the hospital that is sponsored by charity, so hopefully she improves and everything goes all right.
