[IC] Fate Arcana/Academy

Robert was taking a whizz when the cry went out.

"FIGHT IN SNOW QUAD!!!"

He quickly finished his business, neglecting to flush the urinal as he blitzed out of the bathroom.

" 'scuse me, pardon me, 'scuse me, pardon me, ouch, fuck! Outta the way!" Many nasty words and shoves were exchanged as a mass of students, Robert included, began to amass into the Quad. "Oh fuck this!" Robert crouched down and jumped up, nimbly jumping along the backs and shoulders of the other students.

"HA! Much better!" He could see the fight starting ahead of him. Some girl with what looked to be a Saber up against the winner of last years tournament and his Caster. Robert came to rest on top of a bookshelf and began to watch.

Serperion said
"Where else but here!" William said smiling. Caster placed her hand out and trees started to grow all around her, she snapped off a branch and a whirl of wind whittled it down to a staff and she ran towards Saber but not yet swinging and she moved with a certain grace as her hips swayed black lace and silk clashing against the white snowy backdrop."Show me what you have big boy?" She said with a hint of mocking in her eyes.

Saber grinned back.
"Oh, I'll show you what I've got all right." he said.

Saber promptly turned and started running in the opposite direction of Caster.

"Is that... The Joestar's secret weapon!?!? Madness!"

[Serperion]

"Running away? I wouldn't have thought that of you Alysis." William said sighing.

He picked up his sword and threw it to Caster.
"Cut them down." He said as Caster grabbed the mystical sword in her hand, before twirling it. In one hand she had a wooden staff and the other the holy sword Gram.
Caster ran after Saber and William followed. After a while he figured Ms Woe wasn't so stupid to waste her one summon running without a game plan so he was once again intrigued in this girl and what she was upto.

"It called strategy, look it up." Alysis said, rolling her eyes. "Let me give you a demonstration."

As Caster closed in, Saber suddenly spun around, swinging hard at Gram. With the combined factors that Caster was no trained warrior, was trying to wield the holy blade one handed while Saber held his weapon with both hands, and that Saber possessed roughly twice Caster's physical strength on his worst day and Caster's best, Saber had no trouble disarming the other Servant, swatting the sword into the crowd; nearly splitting the manhood of a student who'd failed to secure it in half.

"Oh shit! my fly is open!" Robert tripped upon noticing this, falling as the sword flew straight over where his crotch was seconds ago, none the wiser.

"Man, that's embarassing," he said, zipping up, "now about this fight..."

[Serperion]

William smiled, he was right she was smart using the momentum of Caster along with her weak hold on the sword to disarm her.
"Using strength to knock away my sword, that is tied to my mana via blood, as is Caster." And the sword flew back to Williams hand.

"Can I use one of my noble Phantasms? Either he is very strong indeed, or my feminine charms are nullified by that infernal magic resistance" Caster asked. She didn't like this man, not at all.

Caster raised her staff infused it with her mana gripping it tightly, "I guess this is harder than expected Caster, a Saber that has magic resistance vs a Caster than can't use their Noble phantasms. I guess I will just have to step up." William said grabbing Gram tightly and went to stand next to Caster, Gram started to glow with a light aura. And William charged in first with Caster behind him. Both Caster fueling him with enforcement magic and Gram giving him ancient magic William was known to hold his own against some servants, although he had lost his leg during the Berserker fight last year.

As Gram flew back to William, Alysis prepared two bolts of origin-charged lightning. When the upperclassman charged, she hurled them at William. Saber avoided the magus, heading for Caster.

[Serperion]

As William saw Alysis charging the lightning in her hands he had not doubt she was about to throw them. He stamped his mechanical leg onto the snow beneath his feet, it slowly hardening becoming ice and then shooting upwards from the ground to make a wall of ice separating himself and Caster from Alysis, although Caster was now on their side of the ice. But the lightning still blasted through the ice wall due to it being a double cast, although some of its force had been dispelled, causing shards of ice to go flying around.

In that moment though, the small time it took for the ice to break. William had already turned to face the back of Saber, who was moving towards Caster, while Caster was facing saber from the front and was able to keep her eye on Alysis. Caster tried to weave to the left of Saber, meaning if he also turned to meet her, he would be directly in the path of Williams blade. And as she aimed to side step Saber, she thrust her hand out and summoned vines to from the ice ground to try and entangle Alysis.

William and Casters relationship was an odd one but it is what helped them win last years tournament, their roles were reversed yet the could both hold their own in what ever position they were needed to be in. And they fought together, always and forever.

Alysis hadn't infused her lightning just to prevent it from being dispelled; she had also lightly bonded the lightning's existence to her arms. Using the holes she'd blasted in the walls to give her a line of sight, Alysis twist her arms to alter the lightning's trajectory, bringing it back into alignment with William's position. If it hit him, Alysis's Existence Origin would allow it to persist, so it would continue to disrupt William's internal processes beyond the initial shock.

Meanwhile, Saber noted Caster's attempt to sidestep. He allowed her to move to the side, and then when she started to raise her hand, threw himself forward, dismissing the turn that would bring him into the path of William's swing in favor of a straight forward tackle, aiming to ram his shoulder into her throat.

Robert watched the fight with excitement.

"This is some hardcore shit!"

He raised Gram and slammed his foot into the ground, the earth filled with iron ore beneath the snow reforming and shooting up to make a rudimentary attachment to Gram that would hopefully Earth the lightning that she was throwing at him. William was the head mage of the second year in the house of Hel, he was well versed in lightning magic, but this lightning was different and he enjoyed the difference.

Caster wasn't so happy, with Saber attacking her so violently. William had placed a ban on using her noble Phantasms, and Saber couldn't use his also unless he wanted to use up all his Prana. So Caster was already at a disadvantage with her melee skills not that great, Saber's shoulder went straight into Caster's throat and she choked up. And then her eyes narrowed enough of this shit.

"Trolldomspeil" Caster said as Saber was pressed up against her and in her hand was a instant glint as if something had caught a glare, and then she was holding a black version of Gram, which she raised up to swing at Saber.

Saber and Alysis's strategy didn't really require any great amount of teamwork; the plan was simple and straight forward, namely to deal with their counterpart and keep them off their partner's back.

Saber cursed, and tried to turn himself so that his sword would be on the other side of his body and in position to block Caster's swing.

Alysis's lightning was pulled towards the lighting rod,her binding not strong enough to force it to hold its course. Alysis cursed, and poured her magic into her body, energizing it to allow her to move and react quicker.

"Fierce! I like her!"

Robert watches the fight with glee. Up until now, he had been rather hesitant about this whole Arcana thing with the servants and whatnot, but this battle ignited a spark within him.

"I've got to figure out how to get one of those cards..."

[Serperion]

"Very nice." William said tired and weary, having to make Iron, even rudimentary iron so quickly was a feat, that drained his mana.

"Caster stop, and give me back Gram, the real Gram. You made us lose." He said turning to Caster in battle with Saber.

Caster sighed, "Well meh, he left me no choice." Caster jumped back from the lock she was in with Saber, as the blackish purple mist rolled off the black Gram. She clicked her fingers once more and once again there was a glint and what seemed like a lens flare in her hand and Gram was gone, back to Williams hand.

"Ms Woe, you aren't the only elemental here, but your lightning abilities are amazing capable of knocking down my earth and ice constructs, but I assume you are spending your lifeforce to do so. Regardless have you considered joining the House of Hel." He said raising the Saber Arcana card, before flicking it to her.

"And any idea who Caster is? Seeing as she kinda lost the plot and used a Noble Phantasm, something looking now was unavoidable?"

"You honor me." Alysis said with a small bow. "I must admit, I thought that I might win for a moment. The skill you displayed has humbled me. Yes, it was my goal to seek entrance into the House of Hel for some time." Alysis grimaced. "Unfortunately my lore is not great. I...stopped looking after finding the hero I wanted as a Servant, so I can't say I know Caster's identity."

[Serperion]

William smiled, "Good to know we have you on our team." He turned to Caster who smiled and summoned a deep red apple to her hand and walked over to Alysis.
"A Present." She said smiling, William gave her a knowing look. "It's safe!" She hissed back at him. Before turning to Alysis, "For you, but use it how you may."

"Well as to who Caster is, unless your Norse mythology is top notch you may not know, but have you seen Snow white?" He asked.

"Oh shut up Bill, that was pathetic!" A voice from the crowd said, William rolled his eyes. A blonde girl walked out and towards them.
William sighed, "Ms Woe this is my sister Nikki."

[Ichypa]

"Pleased to make your acquaintance, Nikki." Alysis said, extending her hand. "Can you kick ass as much or more than your brother?"

[Serperion]

Nicola laughed at this, taking Alysis' hand. "I like this one Bill." And then laughing at Alysis' comment.
"I'm a much better mage than my brother, he may be stronger physically but I have always left him in the dust when it comes to magecraft. As a first year you did well, albeit against a mage who sucks as a mage and a Caster whose magic was nerfed, but I think we could be friends no?" Nicola asked before turning to Caster. "What do you think Grimmy?"

Caster sighed, "Well I was trying to give her an apple when you rudely interrupted Nordica."

"Argh, only my parents call me Nordica, and that's only for official family shit, or when I have been bad." Nicola responded.

Caster raised an eyebrow as if to say, now was one of those times.

A little further way towards the edge of the Snow Quad, another blond set of siblings, twins were watching and talking. 3rd Years.
"So Ella, what do you think?" Said the male of the two.
"That Saber was good even without the use of his Noble Phantasms, if she decides to summon him using her newly won Arcana, it could be problematic, we can't allow the head mage two years in a row to be from the House of Hel." Said the girl.
"True facts, if it comes to it Berserker can handle him." The brother responded.
The girl smiled and slowly a blonde man in blue robes materialised behind her, his eyes glowing blue. "Of course Gabby, our Berserkers are unstoppable." She said with a smirk.
"Unstoppable indeed dear sister." Gabby responded as another figure materialised behind him, the splitting image of the one behind his sister this one styled in red, even down to his eyes.

Suddenly, she was hit by a wave of exhaustion.
"Forgive my rudeness, but I only arrived today, and I didn't get much sleep before then. I think its starting to catch up to me. If you'll excuse me, I think I'm going to take a nap."
