[OOC] Genies?!

The triad has been hunting genies for the last thousand years. The genies were ran to near extinction as the faded from reality and became a myth to the human race. Suddenly four genie lamps have come to surface, by whatever means, and landed in the hands of some random people who recently visited a flea market. They passed a shifty looking tent which displayed an aray of broken down artifacts as well as the four lamps. For whatever reason, the humans had to purchase the lamps. They seemed to be calling to them. For the humans their idea of the world was about to be shook.

The triad has been trained from a young age about what to do during a 'genie alert'. A genie alert was an abnormal high amount of magical activities as read by their many monitors. Genies were the most important resource for this secret organization. Most members are left in the dark as to why the genies are important, and only know that the master needs them.

A genie is a being of immense magic restrained by for rules.

1. A genie can not bring the dead back to life.
2. A genie can not make some one fall in love.
3. A genie can not kill anyone.

The fourth rule is an unspoken one. A genie must remain a prisoner in their lamp, blinding serving their current master. These genies are not limited on the amount of wishes their master can make. However they can twist a wish to backfire on their master if they so wish.

Gender: Male
Skills: can these be TBR? i'm not too good at listing skills.
Personality: he's one of the few humans that have absolutely no greed whatsoever, and, in fact, unlike others, he won't use a genie for his own gain. Instead, he'll actually help others using his wishes, or he'll even actually help his genie if the Triad shows up. He's a very kind and caring person, but he also has a deep hatred for the Triad.
Bio: When James was a child, the Triad tried to put him through their training, but his trainer was especially brutal in his methods, which caused James to betray the Triad, and sabotage his first assignment, and instead of attacking the genie, he defended it, and assaulted his own partner that was sent with him, before fleeing with the genie he had saved, but he ended up giving the genie to the next person that seemed kind enough to be worthy of having a genie, and he has actually been pretty much avoiding the Triad since then, but would occasionally show up just to fend of some of those damn Triad bastards before making himself impossible to find again.

Personality: Very, very tricky. Tries his hardest to try and twist whatever you say to something completely different from what you wished for. If you want him as an ally or a friend, you'd have to try hard and gain his supreme trust.
Appearance:
Bio: Born in the lantern and grown in the lantern, learning the power of his magic through masters, he has learned the greed of humanity, and has undoubtedly caused him, to no matter what even if he has made a connection with the human, always twist the wish of the human's words. The Triad tried multiple times to try and capture him, but his masters would always hide him away to keep their greedfor themselves, causing more untrustworthyness to ensue between him and mankind.

Skills: Very smart, and basic martial arts knowledge
Personality: Does not wish to use the genies to be greedy nor generous. Likes to read, think, or to study things and learn. Wants to learn all about the universe, so that the human race can evolve and grow stronger as a whole.
Appearance:
Bio: Born in a very large city with scientists for parents, he fell in love with the world of science and knowledge, and like his parents, devoted his life to expanding the intelligence of the human race. Afew years passed of him studying and learning, and he became old enough to venture on his own and learn about everything the world hasto offer. During his travels and studies, he stumbled upon the marvel of genies, magnificent creatures who could do anything with magic. he learned about them, including their rules, the Triads whom got in his way so he had to stop them often, and their devotion to masters.

I think I can get into this. For now i'll start out with just a human, but depending on how it goes I think I might also bring in a triad a bit later if i'm permitted to make multiple characters.

Name: Mateiu Lockhart
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Skills: The boy is a natural when it comes to cooking and gardening, is fairly talented in the performance of parkour, and is bilingual (malay being his second language)

Personality: Mateiu tends to be a sweet and (mostly) well mannered kind of fellow with a hard work ethic. He often interacts with others in a brotherly sort of way, treating even complete strangers as good friends provided they're receptive and do not show any hostility towards him. Although slow to get legitimately angry, Mateiu has a somewhat smart alecky streak when faced with aggression, and although he tries to avoid resorting to violence, he will lash out if no other option is present.

Appearance: Right here folks
Bio: Born with the proverbial silver spoon in his mouth, Mateiu's life has been fairly easy compared to most people, however his mother -originally born the child of sumatran farmers- always made sure to instill in him a drive to earn what he received and to never take anything for granted. His father, the CEO of a rather lucrative company with connections all around the globe, was never really around much, and with most of the people in his age groups generally being sycophants simply trying to be around him because of his social status and his parent's money, Mateiu never really had much interaction with people save for his mother, resulting in a fair bit of loneliness. Mateiu would later fill this loneliness by focusing on his hobbies and collecting odd and interesting trinkets from his travels.

Extra: He received the scars above his nose during a mountain biking accident and has a strong fondness for lime flavored licorice.
