It took me a while to post because figuring out a character to follow was, well... Extremely difficult. But, my next post shouldn't take long at all as I have a clear idea of where I'm going with Domn.

Short for Dominic. I was playing a game when someone had "Domn" as their username while I was writing on the side. Amazing where inspiration can randomly come from.

There isn't a difference when they evolved from ordinary humans.

@Wilson
Care to explain what that electronic nudge leash thing is? Also, you know that's gonna piss it off right. It isn't a herd-able creature and will think you're provoking it

Essentially a kind of ring. Unless the creature is sentient, it will stay in a certain radius of where the tool is pointed. If it's pointed directly at the creature, then the creature won't have any discomfort. If it moves a certain distance away from the place where the 'leash' is pointed, out of its radius, then it'll begin giving small amounts of pain and a brain-nudge, or essentially just trying to implant a must-go-back instinct. Not really painful, but aggravating.

Yeah, that will be shown as provocation. It's gonna lash out. Some of the Esurienti will stay to a certain area or try to keep back from the device, but on others they will just attack it

It's essentially a little handle in the Tinkerer's hand. And how would they know that it's even the little item? They go too far ahead, and they get the feeling that they should turn back, and stuff starts getting kinda itchy-ish. It's not ON them, it's not on the floor or anything.

I was thinking some sorta shock stick within a few feet letting off electric zaps. Understood, they'll still get extremely pissed off. Woulda been better to just leave them alone as they would have been content. Probly gonna make it worked up too much and it won't have any energy to convert co2 to o2

Does anyone mind if I just jump in somewhere? It wont be plot changing or anything but I would be setting up for contact?

This is a free-roleplay, so to speak. Plans aren't the best, cause they end up getting messed up. The Etherals intended to have a short in-and-out, and it turned into a battle with three battlefleets against one [wasn't there complaints before about it always being 1vAll?].

Jump in wherever.

Nouvelle is like pure little Africa before it got buttfucked by Europe.

Also I love it when I try to make an intrapolitical arc about the corruption of Sazkarjhia's government intelligence organization and I mistakenly press the shortcut for back and lose a 2000+ char post.

Thank you backspace button for also being the browser back button.

Based on what I've seen so far, the Iscandarians are the largest empire/nation that has ships EVERYWHERE.

Certainly there has to be a limit? To contact almost every nation the moment they begin to search for everyone else is like being the Supremes, except bigger and with more people and ships.

In fact, based on what I've seen from before, I should make a nation very similar to those peoples and technologies from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, since the Infinite Improbability Drive will be the only thing more improbable than the Iscandarians.

...yeah because having one or two small scout ships appearing next to a large fleet, next to a planet with 3 other alien powers, and appearing next to a planet with confirmed activity is having ships everywhere.
