It made your life hell if you rushed the Dragon born quest, level 1 with iron weapons and fighting a Frost troll = Jumping off a cliff.

Exactly, it got even worse if you rushed the quest as solely a mage, limited armor and minimal weapons= Thrown off the cliff.

Actually mages had it a bit easier, that's how I defeated it, flames worked a treat albeit it took me 5 minutes to kill it haha. But one hit and you may as well have been a skeever getting hit with war hammer.

Yeah, exactly. I didn't always use fire as a mage. I liked using different types, and one time I had a Frost mage... lord... That was a long fight.

I love Frost magic, but the amount of creatures that pack a resistance to it makes it a difficult thing to specialise in.
And because at least 90% of random enemy NPC's are nords that pack a 50% resistance to it makes it even worse.

Yep, bit of something to overcome which is one reason I loved that character so much. It made everything much more challenging for a while.

I'm currently working on a different sort of challenging. Been working on an unarmed Khajit recently. No unarmed mods either. I've been getting creative with traps and stronger foes.

Admittedly once you get the heavy armour perk, steel hands I beIieve its called, unarmed attacks actually do a fair amount of damage.

Not to mention the Fortify Unarmed Damage enchantment from the Gloves of the Pugilist. I believe you can get insane levels of damage with heavy enchanted gauntlets and enchanted rings. Somewhere around 81.

...That's not even getting into mods that let you place any enchantment on any piece of equipment.

Yeah, Unarmed Khajiit was one of my first characters, and I loved it. It is a bit shaky at first, but once you get the Steel Hands perk it just all goes up-hill from there honestly.

I think the highest you can get is when you're wearing Legendery Dragonbone gauntlets that are enchanted, plus I think there's a werewolf ring that increases unarmed damage massively as well, even outside of the werewolf form.
That plus the lowest stamina cost and one of the highest hit rates and you've got yourself an unstoppable punching machine haha

I have actually been so hyped for this Rp, and so in love with all the Characters that I am going the process of Updating my 360 again after several months to play Skyrim again...

I'm using the Immersive Armors, so I have gloves, a ring, and earrings all enchanted with Fortify Unarmed, and I have the heavy armor perk as well. It's fun beating dragons with mah fists. Once I'm high enough, I'm going to console in the Ring of the Beast since he's a werewolf and not a vampire, and thus will be siding with the Dawnguard.

I am going to get on Steam eventually, but right now times are really tough for the family and essentially every dollar right now is important. Been this way for a few months, so no buying things for a while. XD

By the way HM, that is a good set-up. I always enjoyed tricky playthroughs and unique character designs. My roleplayer aspect carries over into RPG's like the Elder Scrolls Games and each character is usually based on a character I made for an Rp, or made around a Class-Archetype.

I've got a sneaky git of an Altmer archer in heavy armor that rushed into Solsteim a little too early, ended up having to make use of a swinging spike wall trap to soften up several Draugr Wights in the mine. THAT was incredibly tricky.
