As long as they have some sort of:

Hammerspace Bag
Bottomless Bag
Wormhole Device
Portal Device

So on and so forth, yes. They have access to their home dimensions.

Speaking of bottomless bags, how does Solomon carry a 10 foot spear and 8 foot halberd with him at all times? Are doors his biggest weakness?

They're strapped to his back near the base of the spear and halberd, they're just sort of sticking directly upward on his back. Like a samurai's flag, but longer.

And yes, doors are his greatest weakness.

Hmm... Would it be alright if Arty acquired the knowledge on how to build such a generator during his last foray into the multiverse, and then builds one here? It would explain how he made it home, and he did actually study one of them IC. Assuming that was what was on Clockwork Man's ship, at least. It would be a fairly large item, not usable in combat due to how cumbersome it would be to carry, so it wouldn't give him any immediate combat advantage, just access to his home dimension and supplies there.

Sure, he could haul it in himself. Mechs, vehicles, so on and so forth are allowed into this. He could have a truck haul it in for him, though it would be at a disadvantage. Leaving him stationary in one spot. Don't quite understand why you wouldn't just have it small so he could carry it around.

It's not for combat. Mostly it's just a plot device so he can build this other character, who will be able to fight evenly at lower tiers, since Arty is the only tier 5 PC and I don't really see many of the others stepping up to fight that. I know I wouldn't want to at a lower tier.

Now Schradinger you know that Adrian is going to be hunting Arthur down night and day to get his payback.

Oh, I know. But he's going to have to be really smart about it if he doesn't want to just get sent back to hell. He's going to need allies.

Evvie would help fight the tier 5 for sure. She'd even try it solo.

P.S. ally or not, don't allow her near that generator for 5 seconds or she'll accidentally have it broken.

All finished character sheets are accepted, except yours Drall, I have a few points to bring up on that. All unfinished character sheets should be finished post haste, the initial post is about halfway finished.

I'm posting it in 5 hours, if any character sheets are unfinished by that time, they will be left out of the initial post.

This does not mean that they are not going to be in it, it's just that they won't be mentioned.

More characters can be accepted after the initial post is made.

Does anyone want me to come in with a character of a certain tier? I have an idea for a new character from my scifi roleplay (that has no interest yet. *a single tear drops down my face) who's probably tier 2 but he could maybe go lower or a tad higher, of course depending on what technology he brings with him. But for a major difference in tier I'll need another character.

I really want to add in the main character of a web comic I'm thinking of starting up, but to make his power viable for this it would need a huge guide detailing limitations and such. His power is creation, so he could create a sword or ladder out of thin our, for example. I suppose I could limit his creation to a list of objects even though he could do more.

Change in schedule, expect it in the morning. I put it off for too long, and I didn't get it finished in time. I'll post it when I wake up.

Could someone answer some questions about the RPG tier list for me?

Especially in regards to the physical limitations of the lower tiers, why are those the numbers that were went with (further taking into account punch force and grip strength)?

I'm not sure about grip strength or why those specific numbers were chosen, but punch force was set at double lifting strength just to keep things simple. Realistically, it can easily be three or four times lifting strength for a well-trained fighter, but then they're going to be in a higher tier anyway due to their training.

That is an incredibly odd rationalization for a combat tiering list.

Is it? Generally, when someone has gone to the trouble of building up the necessary muscle to lift 1 ton (I know the record is closer to half a ton, but humor me), they haven't spent much time on training their body how to fight, and therefore wouldn't be able to generate the same power to muscle ratio as someone who spent their time training to fight instead of lifting weights. Even with something as simple as punching, technique makes a huge difference in how powerful the punch is. Could the musclebound contestant punch just as hard as the one that has trained? Probably, but it isn't going to be the full 3-4 times his lifting strength due to his lack of technique. Put simply, he doesn't know how to use his muscles to achieve the best punching results, he just knows how to use them to pick things up.

So the rationalization behind it is that there has to be a trade-off. You can't have one fighter who can both lift 1 ton and also employ advanced combat training in order to utilize all that muscle to its fullest advantage, simply because he would be able to steamroll any other character in that tier (unless all characters could do it, but then there's no point to unique and diverse characters).

That wasn't even what I was referring too.

"punch force was set at double to keep it simple" - that.

It does clarify my further suspicions about the list rather inadvertently. Your example doesn't even make sense as a rationalization for setting it at double the lifting strength. You actually only rationalize the point I was trying to make about the relationship with your example.

I can't understand what exactly you'd like to know and why. Could you please explain it to me in detail?
