Nono, Restaurant District, Yggdrasil
Nono watched on in awe, confusion, and amusement as the strange man seemed ready to launch into some dramatic spectacle, only to be cut off by his companion. He didn't seem to appreciate that, and Nono was left wondering, just a bit, what his whole thing would have been like had he not been cut off. After all, it wasn't as if she didn't have the time.
Glancing over to make sure Saber wasn't doing anything important without her, which she wasn't, Nono quickly returned her attention to Gilgamesh. She smiled happily, hands clasped in front of her as she moved about. "Thank you," she replied gratefully, taking the compliment as it was.
"Onee-sama is a lot better at this than I am though," she admitted, looking back over to Saber so Gilgamesh would know who she was talking about, and also to admire her 'older sister' at the same time. "I'm not much good at fighting people." at least, in her humble opinion. Even if it was true, due to her nature. But from another's point of view, that might be hard to tell.
Cinder Fall, Cinder's spacecraft
The trip back to the Shadow Compact HQ was relatively normal, which meant Cinder dealing with Charlotte's antics, which also admiring her captured relic. With the presence of the black cube she could ignore anything the Witch did, and she did just that. Already she was imagining what she needed to do next, what she could do with this item in her possession. It was just a matter of making sure no one else in the Shadow Eternity caught wind of her greater goals.
The ship smoothed in past the defenses, past the hubbub and commotion, into one of the hangars for a smooth landing. With it safely coming to rest, Cinder rose from her seat, glad to be back. She had to deal with her plans, as well as....other issues.
She grabbed her prize then, before looking down at Charlotte. "Thank you for your help," she told her with a slight smirk. "I'm going to go install this." That she would, though she neglected to say where she would put it. "It would only bore you, so I'll come find you when I'm done, alright?"
And, as an afterthought, she pulled a vial full of yellow powder from her pocket, holding it in a loose grip. "And a treat for your good work," she added, before tossing the vial of yellow Dust over for Charlotte to munch down on before exiting the ship herself and heading into the base, prize in hand. Time to go manage this matter to it's conclusion before someone wondered what she was up to.
Misaka 10032, Client world 12262009-A (Macross)
For her part, Misaka was a lot less picky, or otherwise caring, when it came to illegal activity than Kakine was. Which was a tad odd, considering their respective origins, but it might have been that she just had more of a penchant for petty theft than he did. Regardless of the reason why, she did not comment on the money that the witch produced from her hat.
Asked, she nodded. "Yes," she confirmed, aware that the nature of the Sister Network was one of those things she had to keep secret, for security reasons. It was the whole reason she had a cover identity at all.
She then added to that. "'Academy City is our universe of origin, a special administrative zone in Japan devoted to the development of technology and science,' Misaka explains in an instructing manner." And esper powers. But again, that was one of those secret things, since it could attract unwanted attention from the multiverse
