Pearleane Pompaque
Age: 11 Gender: Female House: Hufflepuff Magical Heritage: Half-blood. Appearance: The picture is a great start as to what Pearleane looks like. Though, that picture is of her a bit older. She had dark features (hair and eyes) and her skin tone is a soft cream color. However, she can tan very easily, and often receives a more olive tone during the warmer seasons because she prefers to be outside. Biography/Personality: "A young woman always has three things with her, do you know what those things are my darling?" Pearleane looked up at her mother with her large almond shaped dark eyes, "Is the first one candy?" the girl questioned, her tummy grumbling as she watched her mother cook up dinner that night, a cackle came from the woman's lips, she wiped away her tears as she shook her head at her only daughter, "No, my darling you must have class, ass, and sass." Pearleane nodded, and repeated, "class, sass, and ass, momma I got it- now when is dinner?" The woman shook her head once more, "Not now my child, go play and I'll call you when it's done." Pearleane was named after her great-grandmother on her very strictly pureblood mother's side. Her father (Frederick Pompaque) was a muggle and was only really around for Pearleane to be conceived. This may have gave Pearleane a bit of a prejudice against some muggles, but because of her kind and forgiving nature she tends to give everyone first and second chances. Pearleane's mother a pureblood (Claudia Wilhmer) single handedly raised the girl, and taught her to be hardworking, dedicated, and patient, even when things are overwhelming. It was no wonder the sorting hat placed her in Hufflepuff with no delay. Before going to Hogwarts she lived in a small one bedroom apartment with her mother, and didn't have too many glamorous things. Most if not all of her school supplies are second hand to her mother's. The young girl has a bit of a sweet tooth, and has often been known to keep various sweets and snacks in her bag. Though it has gotten her a few odd stares and name calling from some of the more fit peers, she makes friend's pretty easily. Her loyalty is true and steady; once you find friendship in her, you have a friend for life. Personal Items: A 7 inch Kneazle whiskers wand: Rosewood (Unyielding). Special Gifts and Abilities: Pearleane excels in Herbology naturally, but has not found her true hidden talent quite yet. She is quite interested in Transfiguration and Divination.

Name: Peter Dobson Gender: Male Age: 11 House: Hufflepuff
Wand: 12 1/2 inch, Dogwood, Phoenix feather Pet: While not strictly having a pet of his own, Peter makes use of the family owl Hutch regularly in order to post letters to his family at home and receive his month comic subscription. He also has a bulldog named Lincoln although obviously he remains at the family home. Strengths: Peter is fairly talented at transfiguration, with him progressing through the art swiftly. The term animagus perked his interest after reading it in one of his brother's old schoolbooks. Peter also has a knack for Charms, with him keen to learn more on food-related charms due to his mother. His father also taught him how to cook and bake. Peter can also give a good fifteen minute talk on the history of the Marvel universe if that counts for anything! Weaknesses: Subject wise, Peter isn't a fan of Herbology, or flying for that matter. While he's a huge fan of Quidditch, he just isn't very good at it! He is also very nervous when it comes to meeting new people, so struggles making friends. Personality: As stated above, Peter Dobson struggles to make friends, coming across as a nervous and awkward eleven year old boy, with him preferring to keep his nose buried within the pages of his comics rather than interacting with those around him. However he is very enthusiastic about topics that perk his interest, as well as extremely hardworking when it comes to lessons. He is basically the stereotypical Hufflepuff underneath it all; loyal, hardworking and just. History: Due to his brother's excellence at school and his parent's work, Peter was unintentionally neglected as a child. His family owned and lived in The Hopping Pot pub in Carkitt Market next to Diagon Alley, so when he found that he spent a lot of time wondering the streets and a regular of Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour. He enjoyed cooking in the pub's huge kitchens after being taught how by his mother and by the age of 8 Peter would regularly serve dinner to his family. When his mother decided that she wanted him and his brother Dylan to learn more about her muggle routes, the two spent the majority of their summer staying with their Uncle David in Bristol, where their days were filled with movie marathons and other typical muggle activities. Well typical for Uncle David, who spent most of his free time led across his coach. It was during his stay in Bristol that Peter got into comics after finding David's collection and despite the lack of moving images, he loved them. While back in London and Carkitt Market, comics were Peter's only tie to the muggle world. It was no surprise that Peter received his Hogwarts letter in the post just after he turned 11, as during this time, he had been experiencing bursts of magic, such as accidentally setting one of the umbrella's at the Ice Cream Parlour on fire! Peter soon set off to Hogwarts, along with his cooking recipes and comics. NPCs: While these characters won't actually appear in person, they shall be mentioned by Peter via his thoughts, speech or even his letters to or from them. Harold Dobson - Father - Hufflepuff - Owner and Barman of The Hopping Pot pub Iris Dobson - Mother - Hufflepuff - Co-owner and Barmaid of The Hopping Pot pub Dylan Dobson - Brother - Ravenclaw - Works for the Goblin Liaison Office at the Ministry of Magic David Broach - Uncle - Muggle - Unemployed

(I'll make more doodles later. :p) Alaric Keto | Male | Twelve | Hufflepuff
Appearance: ~ Lighter olive-ish skin ~ Starting to get a few pimples here and there ~ Short black-ish hair ~ Cerulean blue eyes ~ Slightly willowy stature, a bit taller than his peers ~ Fairly "average" build, but somewhat boyish Wand: Curupay, dragon heartstring, ten inches Pet: A rather old owl named Minna. Alaric doesn't seem to care much for the owl herself, but is still protective of her nonetheless since she used to belong to his brother. Strengths: Alaric's best class would definitely be flying (although Quidditch doesn't really seem to be his thing). The other class he seems to be alright in is Defense Against the Dark Arts. But really, the most prominent "talent" of his seems to be throwing around empty threats, actually. That and sucking up to any purebloods he happens to spot. (...The boy doesn't excel much in anything, really.) If the ability to fanatically follow someone counts, that'd be a thing too. Weaknesses: It's ridiculously easy to take advantage of Alaric if you're pureblood and hate muggle-borns, since he tends to gravitate towards people whose blood status he considers to be better than his. (Half bloods are alright to him, but he still views them as people he wouldn't want to associate himself with unless there were no purebloods around... despite being a half blood himself.) If he comes to respect you enough, though, and your interests happen to align with his, he'd probably start to follow you rather... fanatically. Personality: While Alaric isn't really one for frequently getting into fights, he's definitely the type to be easily provoked. Any and all insults towards him will be considered good reason to a) start holding grudges b) for him to start clumping you into the same group as "mudbloods and blood traitors" or c) (if you've ticked him off enough) possibly start a fight. (He'll definitely start a fight if you've been questioning his idea of justice or , though. Definitely.) On a side note, it's probably worth mentioning that any blood traitors / muggle-borns / muggle-born sympathizers will instantly earn his undying hatred. Aside from that, Alaric also has this tendency to try and play the role of the "hero", and will frequently try to help out others / maybe even save them if the situation calls for it. (Of course, this treatment is almost exclusively for purebloods. Muggle-borns, muggles and blood traitors will all be ignored. Half bloods... are a big "maybe".) The boy pretty much considers everything he does to be the "right thing to do", actually. It's probably not a good idea to question this (since Alaric never questions things like this), and doing so might... mess with his mind. History: Alaric was born to two half blood parents in Britain (although his mother's family was Irish and his father's Finnish / British). Growing up, his brother had always been a big influence to him, with him looking up to him even more than he did to his parents. He never had much exposure to the muggle world, either, so most of the concepts there were (and still are) rather foreign to him. While his parents were definitely anti-muggle / muggle-born, his brother was the one who really brought the prejudice up a notch. (This didn't really start until his brother's third year at Hogwarts, though.) Alaric, as a child, would always look forward to when his brother came home from Hogwarts during breaks and tell stories of everything that'd happened there, especially during Quidditch practice. (This lead to him being slightly obsessed with brooms for a while.) Sometime around when his brother was in his third year, however, his stories turned from more light hearted ones to ones focusing more on muggle-borns and how they were a hindrance to the wizarding world. And, as time went on, they developed undertones (and then overtones) of how ultimately, it would be true justice for someone to wipe the muggle-borns and blood traitors off the face of the planet. It was then that Alaric started to get the idea that, maybe, he should try to actually help the purebloods get rid of the mudbloods to maybe gain his brother's approval. This started off as more of a minor thing, but soon developed into an unhealthy obsession, and eventually evolved and invaded almost his entire mindset. Then, a few years later, it was time for Alaric to go to Hogwarts. Naturally, remembering his brother's stories, he was rather excited to go. (...Although he probably won't remain happy for long after he realizes how many muggle-born students there are compared to the number of purebloods.) NPCs: Father - Alvar Keto - Hufflepuff Mother - Darina Keto Brother - Archie Keto - Gryffindor - Perhaps the biggest influence in Alaric's life so far. He looks up to him even more than he does his parents, and would probably die for him. His prejudice against muggle borns also stems from him. Since he's already graduated from Hogwarts, though, he probably won't be appearing much in the roleplay.

Name: Jacob Masters Nickname(s): Jake Gender: Male Age:11 House: Gryffindor Appearance: He is tall for his age and to get taller with age but sort of thin in the way am eleven year boy would be. H Wand: Wood: English Oak Core: Dragon's Heartstring Length: 11 3/4 Description: His wand is light brown and longer then most wands. The grip is flat and looks smooth. No known powers. Pet: A black cat named Martin Strengths: He is decent at making potions since he watched his mother making them when he was young. He always enjoyed helping her and learned a bit about it. His mother never taught him anything dangerous of course , just the basics of what he would need in school. His two older brothers loved Quidditch and needed someone to practice with so they used their little brother as a Keeper. So Jake is decent with a broom and being a keeper. He hopes to be the Keeper for his house when he is older. His brothers were on the team before him. Jake loves most animals due to his upbringing. So he is comfortable with things that would scare most children. He is fearless in general but especially with animals. He tried to make friends with everyone and has a joke ready for everything. Weaknesses: Said fearlessness gets him into a lot trouble. It tends to make him impulsive by nature. He sometimes just speaks without thinking at all. He sometimes gets quiet and sullen for seemingly nothing. Personality: Jake is quick with a smile and a joke no matter what. He is always happy to meet new people and can be rather pushy with his introductions. He had to be pushy with two older brothers at home. He seemingly does not care if he is alone though. His happy with talking or reading a book for either class or fun. Jake likes any kind of animal no matter what. He always seems to have mischief in his eyes. Jake seems to want to be like both of his brothers. History: Jacob Xander Masters was born on June 11 on his family's farm. His parents ran a magical farm in a small muggle village. None of the villagers could figure out how the farm kept going. His parents made decent money on the farm so he was not lacking. As the youngest of three boys Jake was never alone during his childhood and it shows in his personality. His parents taught him since he was young to work hard with everything. From the time he was five he had chores on the farm, like chasing out pests from the pumpkin patch or something similar. Jake had grown up listening to his brothers' stories about Hogwarts and he dreamed of going there himself. When his brothers were gone at the school his mother taught him different simple potions to make. Jake always liked that. His brothers had decided to use him as their Keeper as soon as Jake learned to ride a broom , practicing on a makeshift pitch in the back of the farm. Then his 11th birthday came and with it his owl saying he was accepted to Hogwarts. Jake had never been happier. His dream was coming true. NPCs: Ryan Masters Relationship: Older Brother. Description: He looks like an older bigger version of his little brother. All of the Masters boys look like their father. However Ryan's eyes are brown compared to Jake's blue eyes , like their mother. He is currently in his fifth year and is a chaser for the Gryffindor team. He sees it as his job to keep his younger brother safe. Henry Masters((Won't be seeing much of him in rp. )) Relationship: Oldest brother Desciption: As with his two younger brothers, Henry looks the same as his brothers. However Henry dyed his hair lime green for a reason only known to him. Jake looks up to Henry the most since he is training to be an Auror.

Name: Julius Mars Hillshire Nickname(s): 'Little Lion of Hillshire' Gender: Male Age: 12 House: Pick this one out for me, my good GM's~! Appearance: (I'll add a picture some time this week) Black spiky hair and black eyes. Slightly tanned due to being outside most of the time. Wears a customized glove for dueling and archery (Thumbs, index and middle finger are covered, the other fingers are not) on his right hand at all times except when not needed. Has calluses on his knuckles and palms and is a bit muscular for his age. Short, around 4'8 in height. Wand: Redwood, 14 inches / Dragon heartstring core. Pet: a Pug named Rocky. Strengths: Thinking outside of the box! Physical fitness! Surprisingly smart! Unpredictability! Quick reflexes mark him as a prodigy at dueling, complemented by his grasp at Transfiguration; his ability to concentrate at a particular task is also note worthy. He has a large bit of magical power that make his spells more powerful than usual (a regular jinx from him can be a real pain to remove) and a lot of stamina for a wizard. He has an excellent sense of intuition and his guesses are fairly accurate. Weaknesses: Lazy! Confrontational! Surprisingly dense! Unpredictability! He's terrible at things that require small attention to detail; this makes him terrible at Charms, Potions, Herbology, Numerology, History, Arithmancy and Divination. He likes to rely on his intuition for most things and though he is smart, because he rarely reads, he is quite unintelligent in most matters. Personality: Head strong and passionate, he likes to take all problems head on and without skirting around the issue. He is a bit dense and is not good at reading the atmosphere. Sadly, if he doesn't feel like doing something, he is equally passionate about not doing it - making his study habits a bit less than desirable. He is friendly to almost everybody and is loyal to those friends. The one thing he dislikes the most is when people betray those friendships for stupid reasons ('stupid' is subjective here) and will either try and fix those friendships or pick a fight with the offender . . . or both. He's optimistic and enjoys a good laugh, and is generally cheerful. History: Julius is a half-blood; muggle father, witch mother. The story of their meeting is an exciting and dramatic one, and one he has heard often. His father is a British SAS and his mother is a medical witch, both at one point were at Iraq for their own reasons. During a particularly heavy conflict, Julius mother found herself injured and without a wand and surrounded by Jihadists - basically, a witch's worst nightmare. In the nick of time, his father arrived on the way to regroup with his squad. Upon seeing her in trouble and realizing she was neither a native nor a terrorist, he fought tooth and nail to get her out of the area. By the end of it all, he was greatly injured, but at least he managed to rescue her. Death was coming for him, he realized, and he was about to accept the end until he felt his wounds mending - Julius's mother had found her wand at the last moment. She didn't bother to erase his memories (she owed that to him) and he didn't bother telling anyone about her (he owed that to her) and the two met outside of combat. She promptly explained her status as a witch, to which all the man did was respond with a taciturn 'I see'. The two saw each other more often from then on and were married three years since their first meeting. Julius was born with his fathers good intuition and body and his mothers passionate heart and intellect. He also inherited his paternal grandfathers energy and rowdiness. He grew up knowing about magic and while his father didn't mind him becoming a wizard, he also constantly reminded him to keep up with modern technology and to keep his body fit - two major flaws that his father had discovered existed among the wizarding population. NPCs: Alexander Pierre Hillshire - father, British SAS with experience in all four troops (Boat, Mobility, Air, Mountain) ten years of combat service and holds the rank of captain. He is half-Filipino, although a born British native. His own father was a Scout Ranger, the Philippines equivalent of the SAS, while his grandfather on his mothers side was an SAS officer as well. You could say he was born to be in the military. Others: Ever since he discovered the existence of the magical community, as well as the actions of Voldemort, he has been thinking of countermeasures and ways to combat them, should they once again become an international threat. Much to his wife's surprise, he has succeeded in finding no less than 101 ways to kill a single wizard casting a Protego charm. He has more such plans for many contingencies, but has not told anyone but his wife. Guinevere Vesta A. Hillshire - mother, an experienced medical witch who is somewhat of a bleeding heart. Silent and meek, but passionate and determined, she values life above all and does her best to preserve what she can. Her mother died during the Second War with Voldemort, and her father went missing and is presumed dead as well. Graduated from Hogwarts and once taught at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, before heading off for more dangerous parts of the world to give first-aid in secret. Others: Has a pet Therstral and Pheonix. Is afraid of riding cars and airplanes.

Name: Charlotte Marie Springer Nicknames: She finds both Charlie and Lottie acceptable. Gender: Female Age: 11 House: Blank for Sorting Hat
Wand: Sycamore and Unicorn Hair, 12 inches. The handle is thick for an easy grip, and is carved to have a pommel at the end which curves slightly downward, giving the wand a "top" and "bottom." The shaft is moderately springy, it starts about an eighth of an inch smaller around than the handle, and tapers gently to a quarter inch diameter at the end. Pet: Male Barn owl named Indiana(as in Jones). Strengths: - Adapts easily - Quick to act - Makes friends easily - Difficult to frighten Weaknesses: - As quick to anger as she is to action - Afraid of deep water and cannot swim - Loses interest quickly unless she cares a great deal about the subject matter Personality: Charlotte, despite everything, loves both of her dysfunctional parents dearly and will accept any of the various names they use for her. She was a precocious and curious child and is just as likely to find herself out of bounds as of the start of school. She sometimes seems like an adrenaline junky, and is just as happy to climb a cliff face as she is to fly to the top on broomstick. Charlotte is known for being impulsive and brash. School life only agrees with her half of the time. Sitting in class makes her antsy, but practical lessons are plentiful and there's always Care of Herbology to let her get outside for a while. History:Both of Charlotte's parents are muggles. Her father, Charlie, owns a pub, and he met Charlotte's mother, Marie, when he employed her to tend bar. A one night stand produced Charlotte, and the less-than-willing couple got married before anyone knew Marie was pregnant to avoid a public scandal. Charlie wanted a son to name after himself, but he got a daughter instead, though he'd call her "Charlie" or even "Junior" when he was drunk. Marie retaliated by calling her the much more feminine "Lottie." Having a daughter made Marie think she'd have the best rapport with their child, and was a bit surprised when her daughter took a liking playing adventure games outdoors. Still, she managed to get one over on Lottie's father, who could hardly ever get away from the pub to join them when Charlotte wanted to go camping. The letter from Hogwarts changed the family's tenuous relationship completely. Now instead of fighting over the attention of their daughter, Charlie and Marie felt equally and oddly detached from their daughter, and came together to try to understand her new world. During holiday after her first year, Charlie closed the pub to join one of Charlotte's camping trips, which now included completely earnest hunts for faeries and unicorns in addition to the usual pretend games. Though Charlie and Marie are closer to each other, the combination of an entire new world, and long months at a boarding school have created a rift between them and their daughter. Subjects she'll be good at: Ancient Runes History DADA Care of Magical Creatures

Name: Chandler Griffin Webster Nickname: None Gender: Male Age: 11 House: Appearance: Wand: Supple 11 inch, Cedar, with Ashwinder Ash core. This wand was in the very back of the wand makers shop when Chandler went to buy his gear. The shopkeeper said that it was a somewhat rare core. Personal items and pets: A black and white spotted kitten named Castiel that his parents gave him. Magical Heritage: First in the family to have wizarding powers. (Muggle born) Backstory/Personality: It all really started when Chandler turned two, all sorts of unexplainable things would just seem to 'happen'. His parents 32 year old Colton Webster a videogame designer and mother, 30 year old graphic artist Becky Webster were rightly perplexed. They would be walking with Chandler and all of a sudden the tot would be holding some kind of candy or be petting a kitten. It wasn't until they caught and watched Chandler, the little rascal making his food (spinach) disappear that they realized that this boy was special. Being the rare breed of parent they were the two decided that Chandler would not be treated any differently and they would allow him to decide how he wanted his future to go. The future was decided when Chandler found out that he could -if he believed and concentrated hard enough- make anything happen! Instead of trying to abuse this Chandler instead sat down and started trying to control it, to keep it from controlling his emotions. He was very successful, other than the skill he had Chandler grew up as any other British boy would. He enjoyed sports playing rugby and football mostly, but he also loved anything to do with getting his brain active. As he grew older Chandler found that he had a problem learning, or for better explanation he didn't learn things the way others could. For Chandler he had to take everything in and formulate everything himself. This meant that it took a long time, sometimes even weeks to totally learn something. However, once he did learn it he never forgot it. Almost like a photographic memory of things he thoroughly picked apart and put back together. Chandler is also a very caring person and constantly sticks up for the guys getting bullied in school which of course meant he came home with a lot of bloody shirts. Special Gifts and Abilities: Chandler is very adept at defensive magic, including other white magic like a patronus and the such. He also takes a long time to finally get a spell 'down' sometimes even taking a month. But when he gets it down he can perform it very well. Strength's: Very adept at White magic in general, has a rare talent with such charms. Photographic memory. Weaknesses: Is seen as stupid and made fun of as he takes awhile to learn things his own way, he also gets himself into situations where he defends others on numerous occasions.

Name: Nolan Archer Nickname(s): Gender: Male Age: 11 House: Slytherin Appearance: He is light skinned and tends to burn rather easily in the sun despite the time he spends outdoors. He keeps his hair generally short, not liking the feel of it being able to touch his face or ears. He is of average height and build for his age, having not quite started growing yet. He is active and so is on the leaner side. Wand: 11 1/2 inches, Maple with Unicorn Hair, reasonably supple Pet: Black-banded owl named Fletch he shares with Roy and Judoc Strengths: Nolan is excellent at managing his time. While he has to put in plenty of effort into his school work, it robs him of much less of his own time than it would take others. He can work hard and smart enough to make sure he has time to reward himself for his hard work. His resolve helps him out well in this as he has no problem sacrificing his fun in order to do what he needs to do. He is social enough, and for the most part people seem to just like him. He is also fairly athletic and skilled on a broomstick. Weaknesses: Nolan is a slow learner, as mentioned and he has to put more effort into anything he does. He has to work harder to get a B than most do to get an A. He can be insecure at times, hating to be compared to anyone. This also makes him competitive as he feels the need to prove to himself that his skill is worth something. He lacks perspective as well, often putting more effort into something than it's worth. He holds a grudge. Personality: As the youngest of five brothers, he's grown to hate being compared to them, but sees their successes as proof that it's impossible he won't succeed as well. While he seems to lack any of the natural talents his brothers like to show off, he's very proud of the fact that everything he obtains is a result of his hard work (although a little help from family does go a long way). He resents those who's victories come easily to them (what? no, not including his brothers of course....) He doesn't quite know what he wants yet, but he knows he will get it. He's focused traits instilled in him by his father and also very competitive. He is energetic, unable to really be idle for too long. The way he sees it, there's always work to be done or fun to be had. Growing up with four brothers ensures he's made of some tougher stuff. He's never aggressive, but he knows how to take an insult and physically hold his own. History:Nolan was born to a muggle father and a witch mother. Growing up a half-blood, he felt he got to see the best of both worlds. Being the youngest of five, he came into the family well after his father had grown used to the magical world. Being the youngest also meant that he was often fighting for attention. He was an energetic little kid and he often got in trouble. He has often been compared to his older brothers, never negatively but always in a way that suggest anything he does will not stand out among their talents and accomplishments. When he started school in the Muggle world, it became very clear that he was not the quickest learner. It took him twice the effort to understand concepts that the other children managed to master in what seemed like no time at all to him. His parents, growing concerned for his education enrolled him in after school classes to help him keep pace. He didn't complain, if this was what it took to live up to his family's and his own expectations, well that was fine. With all the extra time he spent on schoolwork, he grew to really relish his free time. He became a fan of sports of both worlds. After all the stories, he is ready for Hogwarts. The idea of being on the Quidditch team excites him, but he'll find friends to play football with if not. He's ready to learn what he can about magic as well as the secrets of the school. NPCs: Roy Archer: Older brother, fifth year Ravenclaw. He is a talented artist as well as good thinker with excellent skills in Transfiguration. He is rather arrogant and has a new girl on his arm every few weeks. Judoc Archer: Older brother, seventh year Gryffindor. Chaser on the Quidditch team. He's not the most social but has a circle of very close friends who he has asked to help him keep an eye on Nolan. Wanting to either become an Auror or make broomsticks. Gus Archer*: Older brother, travelling and doing charity work Tidus Archer*: Older brother, Obliviator Liviana Archer*: Mother, Obliviator. Kind and supportive though rather absent-minded and not very good at reading people Thomas Archer*: Father, Muggle journalist. Strict and concerned. Can be critical when he sees his sons "not trying hard enough," but otherwise very proud of all of them. *won't be seen much, of course

Name: Isadora Sidonie Howell Nickname(s): Izzy; sometimes called Dora but mostly just by close family members. Gender: Female Age: 11 House: Gryffindor
Wand: Cherry wood, dragon heartstring, 11 inches Pet: A small gray and white cat named Tallulah (Tally) Strengths: Best class is Charms as she seems to be particularly good at them. She’s not so bad when it comes to Potions or Defense Against the Dark Arts either. Despite her small size, she's also actually physically strong and quite good at flying. Weaknesses: She hasn’t really gotten the hang of transfiguration yet as it is a bit more complicated to comprehend. Although she’s a bit better at this than with her Care of Magical Creatures class. Personality: Izzy is strong-willed and stubborn girl. She’s intelligent, but not cocky and is almost always unafraid to speak her mind. Sometimes she has trouble seeing things from other perspectives due to her passionate personality, but she tries her hardest to be understanding and not judgmental. Although she’s confident, Izzy has trouble carrying conversations and forming close friendships. You could say she’s just not that outgoing. This is one of her biggest insecurities other than always feeling like she’s not quite good enough. Once she does make a new friend she’ll remain fiercely loyal until the other person gives her a reason not to trust them. History: Izzy is the second child of Theophilius and Katryn Howell. Her older brother, Terran, has always been much more talented than her. Although she’s always been jealous of him for that, her parents have always given them both the same treatment and an equal amount of love (which is a lot). She’s also never held a huge grudge against Terran, and actually they’re quite close. But there is some sibling rivalry that has always been present. Her mother was a muggleborn, and coincidentally were both doctors. It’s probably the reason why she decided to work as a Healer. Her father is a half-blood and met his wife at Hogwarts. Because her parents both had full time jobs, Izzy and Terran were usually looked after by her Aunt Tilda. This is how she became so close to her cousin, Fiona. She grew up around a lot of magic and couldn’t wait for the day she would get her acceptance letter to Hogwarts, especially once her brother started attending. NPCs: -Theophilius Howell-Father-Works for the Ministry of Magic in the Auror Department -Katryn Howell-Mother-She works as a Healer/Mediwitch for St. Mungo’s Hospital -Terran Howell-Brother-Three years older than her and sorted in Gryffindor -Fiona MacDougal-Cousin-Only a month and a half younger than her. She’s also Izzy’s best friend, as they pretty much grew up together.

Name: Rozalia Éathliel Nickname(s): Roze (Used more commonly by friends), Rozie, Roza. Gender: F Age: 11 House: Ravenclaw Appearance: Try ignoring her hair and eye colour, as it changes quite often. Depending on her mood, they'll change colours, which is fairly unavoidable. More often than not, she'll have blonde hair, as she has a naturally happy disposition, and her eyes will be a warm amber colour. Blue is sad, black is pain, red is anger... you get the idea. Other than that, she stands at a short height, with just the slightest beginning of curves along her slim body. With a pale, heart-shaped face (Although when very happy, her skin will often warm up to a healthy tan) and a sweet, dimpled grin, she often looks a few years younger than her actual age.
Wand: 12 1/2 Inch wand, made of a springy and intricately patterned Apple wand, and a Phoenix feather core. Pet: A black kitten called Sora - unknown breed. Strengths: Whether it's because she is a form of Metamorphagi or not, Roze's Transfiguration abilities are astounding for her age - on top of all the extra research she's been doing, she's already practicing to be an Animagus, and is curious as to what form she'll take once she manages it. She also has an uncanny ability of picking up new languages, whether it be Tolkien's Elvish (Which she adores) Or Gobbledegook. Also a surprisingly good singing voice, although is very shy about it. On top of this, she's been trained in hand-to-hand combat from a fairly young age. Although far from being an expert, she knows enough to stop an older kid in his or her tracks. That's what you get from coming from a slightly paranoid military family. Weaknesses: Is often easily anxious about things, and isn't uncommon for her to fret over seemingly silly things. Feeling the need to do the best she possible can in every subject - on top of all the extra activities she'll sign herself up for - she gets stressed out from too much work to do. On top of this, she has a certain naive outlook on things - this can lead to her easily walking aimlessly into danger, not considering consequences at the thought of knowledge; her temper hardly helps with that either. Although it takes quite a bit for her to blow, the outcome is far from pretty; not too dissimilar from a volcano. Personality: Because of her introduction to the wizarding world, Roze is still amazed and overwhelmingly curious of all the new things in this world - already adding to her naturally inquisitive nature, this made her crave for more knowledge of her new existence. Suddenly, Muggle knowledge wasn't enough for her. Although her curiosity and wit are her most overwhelming attributes, she has a great deal of bravery within her - and of course, bravery can often go hand in hand with wisdom, for sometimes you need to be brave to acquire knowledge. She has kindness and honesty, and above all, she values friends and those she loves. However, this can be a downside for her. She is big on protecting those she cares about, probably brought on by the loss of her Mother. Because of this, she can be almost obsessive in keeping people safe, not caring if it puts herself in harms way. It also gives her knack for making plenty of enemies. History: Roze has known of the wizard world all of her life, thanks to her Mother's legacy; sadly, her Mam died shortly after Roze's birth during a raid gone badly - she had been an Auror - and her Muggle father was left with 2 half-blood children, and a lot of information he really shouldn't have known. Thankfully, what with being in the Army and all, he was used to being discreet. So, he tried to integrate as much of the Wizarding world into his children's lives as the Muggle world they lived in, but it was hard, considering his wife was dead and he had no real connection left to the wizarding world. Rozalia's elder brother - Leo - is about 10 years older than her, and works as a junior Auror in the Ministry of Magic. He still keeps in touch with her, often joining Roze and their Father on trips back to their family's home country of Italy. NPCs: Antonio "Tony" Éathliel - Rozalia's Muggle Father; a Sergeant in the UK Army, he came to the country at the age of 3 with his immigrant Italian parents. Both have passed away naturally a few years before the birth of his first child, Leo. He regrets this, and also regrets that Roze never got to know her Mother; Megara. Following his wife's murder, he became slightly paranoid, and sure that his wife's work would follow her home one day. Because of this, he made sure to keep Roza and Leo trained in different manners of combat. Although Roze is only 11 years old, she knows quite a bit in hand-to-hand combat, and can work her way around a knife too. In terms of magical combat, she seriously needs to work on it - something Tony worries over a lot. Leo Éathliel - Rozalia's 21-year-old brother; following the death of his Mother, he vowed to knuckle down on his schoolwork and gain enough marks to become an Auror. Although going against his naturally, easy-going and fun-loving nature, he managed to pass all his OWL and NEWT grades, and joined the Auror's department with no trouble. He worries about his Father and sister a lot, but makes sure to keep them safe as much as possible. He works with his Uncle - Mother's older brother - in the Auror's office, still attempting to track down those responsible for his Mother's death. Although five of the murderers were captured, three escaped; and they're on his hit-list. Robert 'Bobby' Thrussell - Megara's older brother, and the Uncle of Leo and Rozalia. An Auror for a good thirty years, Bobby has seen plenty of shit. But, he sticks with the job, just so he can track down the people who killed his sister and a few of his good friends. A genius when it comes to lore on various beasts and whatnot of the Wizarding world, he also likes to spend his time drinking and dealing with the various scumbags that come with the job of Auror. Despite all of this, he's like a second father to Roze and Leo - having babysat them more than a couple of times while their Father was on a tour. He's also an excellent primary resource for when Roze is stuck with her homework.

Name: Caelum Liquin Nickname(s): Cae, or Little Cae by her family elders. Gender: Female Age: 11 House: Hufflepuff Appearance: ((http://api.ning.com/files/yoGU*sWDg*CxUrDwNu7HQvTWPTwRJs9NDsVzsdusP1Q-Ik45oZ*NybV68oJrhBUbOEn1xsn0-3O7e7ioCGVb52g8FjSi05vO/girl1.jpg)) A thin little thing with dusty ginger skin and a button nose. Her long nappy hair is carefully braided and twisted, sometimes it is left dangling about her shoulders, sometimes coiled up into a bun, crown, or other interesting arrangement. At 11 years old she is a stick, with no womanly curves to speak of. She will try to make up for what she ‘lacks’ with a daring shade of lipgloss, a black-winged eye, or a set of heels. She has a fashion sense and an eye for detail that is more mature than most her age (which the uniform robes will certainly dampen). Wand: Wood of yew with core of Kelpie Hair. Pet: None Strengths: - Visual Arts: A talented artist, she will not be seen without a pen or pencil in her hand. She has had a lot of practice and is quite advanced in muggle art techniques, but none of wizards. - Detail oriented: Her eye for artistic detail translates to other aspects of her life. Small things make a huge difference to her. She has a nearly photographic memory. Words, numbers, and names all stay neatly organized in her head. - Well mannered: The well socialized young woman knows her manners and etiquette, and knows what is appropriate in various social settings. She is not shy to meet or talk to anyone, and is even comfortable around adults and authority figures, unlike others her age, she might have a leg up in social situations. Weaknesses: Superficial and vain. - Vain: Growing up the daughter of a plastic surgeon and a model, Caelum was taught that making sure you look good is perhaps the most important part of your day. She will spend a lot of time and energy on her appearance, and judge others by theirs. - Superficial: Caelum was well socialized by her mother, but she met many people without knowing them very well. So her social interactions with others have rarely gone past surface conversation. She will have trouble establishing deeper relationships with others, as she is accustomed to superficial acquaintances. - Weak willed: Caelum speaks volume with her pencil but softly with her voice. She will not assert herself or confront another. She would rather do as they say, or avoid the trouble. This makes her somewhat easy to manipulate, as she would rather not fight back or be contrary to a stronger personality. Personality: Cae is eager to learn and very talented. She has a bit of an ego, and is very critical of herself and others, particularly when it comes to appearances. In that way she is superficial. She grew up seeing adults with many acquaintances but no close or permanent connections. The most important quality of others is what they could do or their status in society, not who they were inside. This perspective makes it difficult for her to relate to others on a deeper level, and also reflects in her art. She is very good technically but often her work lacks 'soul' or an emotional quality. History: Caelum was raised in London. Her father is a plastic surgeon and her mother a model, both muggle and ignorant of the wizarding world. They believed in magic abstractly. Her father made ‘magic’ happen with his medical instruments, and her mother made ‘magic’ happen with her body and a camera. ‘Little Cae’ made ‘magic’ with her crayons. That was all they knew until an owl delivered a letter to Cae in their high rise apartment… Her mother and father divorced when she was very young. Her father took full custody, though she saw her mother very often. Her parents get along well, while her mother remarried twice after and is currently single. Her father never remarried, he is an introvert who mostly keeps to himself and keeps busy. He entertains the occasional girlfriend, but nothing that lasts more than a few months. Her mother has a large network of friends and toted 'Little Cae' along on countless fashion shows, gallery openings, concerts, films, holiday parties, so on and so forth. Cae quickly developed self control obtained only by children who spend too much time with adults. Unlike her mother, Cae is introverted. She loved going places with her mother but preferred to stay quiet and watch. She always brought along a little designer purse full of crayons and paper, keeping herself quietly occupied with doodling. Her doodling became quite good as she got older, and her mother knew plenty of artists to mentor her young talent. Crayons turned to color pencils, which turned to watercolors and acrylic... Her parents had been considering sending Caelum to a private arts-focused school when they got the letter. At first Cae did not want to go to 'Hogwarts'. If it was so great why hadn't they heard of it? Besides, she wanted to be an artist not a magician. (Caelum thought it was some sort of stage-magician’s school. She had met a few magicians, and saw through all their tricks! She certainly did NOT want to be like them!) Then then the neighbors from downstairs showed up. Impeccable timing. They were there to congratulate Little Cae on ‘getting her letter’. ‘But how did you know?’ her parents asked. ‘Why, we saw the owl! We knew it had to be for little Cae!’ The neighbors downstairs were kind but they never spoke much. Firstly because in the city it is customary to ignore your neighbors, and secondly they always seemed a bit strange. They were unnerved to hear that Cae did not want to go, and invited her over for tea to talk it over. They claimed to be wizards themselves, and promised that they were not stage magicians. They showed Cae what Wizard artwork looked like. Moving paintings. Caelum was amazed. It did not seem like making a cartoon, it seemed like making something alive. Cae instantly changed her mind. She wanted to learn magic for herself and how to make her own paintings alive. NPCs: Gregory Liquin: Father, muggle, a successful cosmetic surgeon. Serious and even tempered. Wealthy, handsome and refined. Cae lives with her father, who supports her in all her endeavors. Cindy Lquin: Mother, muggle, a model and actress. Outgoing and gorgeous. Spunky and Sexy. Cae does not live with her mother but sees her very often and go out on weekend shopping trips, parties, and trendy cafes.

Name: Konstantin Yeremeyev
Nicknames: Kostik or Kostya
Gender: Male
Age: 12
House: Slytherin

Appearance:

It could be said that Konstantin spends just as much time outdoors as inside, though despite this claim he still manages to sport a pale visage. His hair is a dark brown that frames his face neatly, his eyes bright; a sharp grey-blue. Already having a fair amount of experience with growth spurts, he stands taller than most his age. Having lead quite the active life thus far, his slender frame is subtly complimented by light musculature.

Wand: A 12 and 3/4 inch wand of fir wood with a dragon heartstring core. Other than the rivets at the base for easier gripping, this wand is simple; practical really.
Pet: Reddish-brown screech owl named Mir.

Strengths: Kostya's greatest strengths lie in physical activity. Dance, gymnastics, and boxing have been more than hobbies for him. These skills lend him a rather finely tuned sense of awareness spatially along with impressive endurance, both mentally and physically. Musically, he plays the piano skillfully. Being trilingual has its perks every so often, but what it has done most is open up Konstanin's communicative abilities. He has a natural charm that makes it very easy for him to make friends.

Weaknesses: Konstantin's greatest fear is isolation. Growing up an only child to two busy parents, he's always struggled with feelings of loneliness. The ease he has with making friends was born out of need more so than convenience. This said he tends to be too trusting, befriending people nearly indiscriminately if he has no one else. He is a natural protector, rushing to the aid of those who need it. In these situations, he acts firsts and thinks little of it until met with the consequences. Having been at the wrong end of more than a fair share of ridicule throughout his life, Konstantin is thin skinned and will take insults or criticism, even when constructive, to heart.

Personality: Composed of strong will and good intentions, Konstantin is a driven child with a big heart that he follows often. He is compassionate towards others, especially those enduring hardships. Justice is a concept he may be too young to fully grasp, but his general understanding of it drives a decent portion of his behavior. He believes in retribution and rarely shies away from delivering it himself when the situation warrants. He's impressively ambitious and focused, but this is largely in part due to a consistent need for approval. Beneath the wit and bravado, lies a boy. One who craves attention and validation at every turn. One who lies in bed at night feeling more alone than he can comprehend. A boy whose exuded confidence is easily stripped away when he is hurt, and a boy who has been hurt often.

History:
Having only recently realized his magical ability and any connection of his to the wizarding world, Konstantin has led a muggle's life thus far, although it has a very active one. Born to a French dance instructor and a Russian university professor, he was raised, an only child, in a forested suburb of St. Petersburg. His parents wanted nothing but the best for their son and did what they could to open up to him as many opportunities as they could afford. He grew up traveling often, frequently visiting palaces, monuments, and theaters. It was in the latter where he witnessed his mother in her element for the very first time, and watched wide-eyed as she gracefully flitted about the stage with a composure he'd never seen before. From that moment on he'd found himself practicing with his mother, who ecstatically began teaching him all that she could. Not long after, he began applying his techniques in another setting; gymnastics. The two combined disciplines worked to compliment one another greatly, but when the next school year rolled around, he and his interests were the subject of teasing. For two weeks straight he came home with a new set of scrapes and bruises from fist fights and bullying from other children. Fed up, his father delivered an ultimatum to Kostik's mother: Remove him from the classes or make time for him to be able to learn to defend himself as well. Having no intention to impede on her son's passions, his mother rearranged his schedule to accommodate for the new hobby. Weeks went by and the bullying continued, until finally Konstantin responded. He returned the months of beatings with little concern for much else but his idea of justice. Slowly, the bruises faded, but the memories were still fresh. They drove him to step into conflicts, and settle them deliberately, when other children were being bullied. This act in itself, along with a new found confidence, made Kostya a very popular child.

Three years ago the family relocated to England, where his father took up work at another university. Leaving all of his friends from Russia to start what felt like an entirely new life was difficult for Kostya. His predominately Russian accent stood out among other students and the fact that he spoke strangely became something that more unpleasant boys tended to focus on. He did as his father taught him, but frequently found himself in heaps of trouble for his aggression. Konstantin felt more comfortable in the gym or dance studio than school or home. There people could care less about the way you spoke, so long as your experience was suitable. Throughout the transitioning period, he found himself growing much closer with his father as well. Always having spent the majority of his time with his mother, when Kolya began struggling in school, the tutoring from his father helped to strengthen the bond they shared. Once a weekend they took trips into the woods, hiking to a certain point then working on studying strategies for his success. In the open environment, Konstantin felt more relaxed, more receptive. During one such trip the pair experienced their first notable clash with magic.

Father and son pressed through tall grass on their way through a clearing, when a shot rang out in the distance. Suddenly Konstantin found himself leaning over his father as blood spread rapidly across the forest floor. A bullet intended for a deer some ways away struck the man through the shoulder and continued. Konstantin watched in horror as his father clutched at the gushing hole and fell, the blood already oozing into the dirt. They both screamed; one in agony, the other pure terror. Frantically looking back and forth, Kostya screamed for help, though no one responded. He looked to his father for advice, but the strong Russian man only groaned in pain. Somehow in the following moments with the build up of panicked concern manifesting, a miracle occurred. Konstantin placed a ginger hand over his father's, still clutching at the bullet hole, and instantly the bleeding ceased. The wound itself slowly closed, until all that remained was an odd looking lump. The pair stared on at one another in a mixture of disbelief and relief for quite some time, shocked into silence.

It wasn't something any of them understood. They weren't a religious family, but no one could deny that a legitimate miracle took place that day. The infamous "ah-ha!" moment came with the delivery of the invitation to Hogwarts. After seeing how magnificent of a gift magic could be firsthand, his parents were wholly supportive of this endeavor.

NPCs:
Alexander Yeremeyev - A Russian born astrophysicist, Alexander gave up research for teaching when he discovered his wife was pregnant. He is already in his early fifties, but still has a young vigor about him. He is a remarkable instructor; strict, but patient, charismatic, and well educated and well informed. Mr. Yeremeyev founded the very same intense work ethic within his son, that his father developed in him. The man speaks 5 languages, excels at piano, and is a widely recognized chess expert.

Delphine Yeremeyev - A former ballerina who performed on many famous stages, Delphine is a beautiful French woman who has aged exceptionally well. Now in her early forties, though she looks to be no older than thirty, she teaches various dance styles to advanced students at a major dance studio. She carries herself with a certain dignity, self-assurance maybe, that makes her stand out in a crowd. She's brilliant, cultured, and full of passion for life. Somehow, she manages to convey all of that and more when she's dancing. Some breathtaking, awe inspiring thing takes hold of you when you see it. She has always been wonderfully supportive of both her son and her husband, but still manages to maintain her own interests as well. She is a musician as well, having fallen in love with the violin at a young age and she speaks 4 languages. She is very well organized and fully responsible for her son's impeccable time management skills.

Name: Layla "The Flower" Ginlio

Gender: F

Age: 11

Strengths:
-Quick to learn
-Easy to make friends
-High intellect
-Amazing at playing Wizard Chess

Weaknesses:
-Can't take a joke
-Doesn't like doing odd-jobs
-Worries a lot
-Grumpy when she wakes up

Personality:
  • Inspirational
  • Imaginative
  • Arrogant
  • Geeky
  • Ambitious
  • Compassionate
  • Selfish

History: Layla was born to a Muggle mother, and a wizard father -- therefore making her a half-blood. Her father died in a freak accident when she was nine, and her mother has been finding it hard to raise her ever since; cue the magic powers. Layla started having, well, "strange" things happen to her at the age of three. Her father had taken away her toy broomstick and she was extremely angry, so she hid in the garden. She was hiding so well, that when she looked down at herself all she saw was the grass! Obviously she had accidentally made herself invisible (her mother and father couldn't find her for hours!). This was followed by a short run-in with Professor McGonagall who was severely impressed that Layla had managed to do fairly advanced magic for her age.

Name: Sevrin Crillden
Nickname(s): Sev
Gender: Male
Age: 11
House: Ravenclaw

Appearance: Sev is a squirrely young boy with bright, intelligent grey eyes and short oak-brown hair. His features are soft and boyish, clearly showing his age, and fit well around his crooked smile and his limbs are thin and wispy. When out of his uniform, Sev often wears casual clothes of the era; faded, hole-filled jeans, graphic T-shirts, and a bright red zip-up hoodie.

Wand: 12.5 inches of surprisingly squishy Alder wood with a Dragon heartstring core.
Pet: Feris the Ferret, a slightly larger-than-average and incredibly intelligent albino ferret.

Strengths:
Dexterity – Sev has spent a lot of time practicing basic wand motions (only with twigs and sticks, of course), even before entering Hogwarts, and has excellent hand-to-eye coordination. He is able to pick up fine twists and flicks faster than most students.
Quick Reflexes – Hours spent balancing on crumbled stone walls and fallen trees , pretending to battle dark wizards and monsters of every shape and size has given Sev excellent reaction time.
Natural Herbalist – Though not a passion per se, Sev’s mother was an exceptional gardener and herbalist and was able to implant much of her knowledge and expertise into Sev from an early age. It also helped that he grew up in the country, away from all hubs of civilization, and so spent a lot of his time as a child out on the moors.

Weaknesses:
Short tempered – sometimes it doesn’t take much to push Sev over the edge and he’ll be sure to let you know it.
Poor student – Despite his determination to follow in his father’s footsteps, Sev is not a very good visual or auditory learner. It takes considerable effort to grasp written material and to put his mind into a mode suitable for long hours of studying. He will likely need special tutoring to acceptably pass all of his classes.

Personality: Sevrin is often quiet and reserved, until he gets to know somebody, taking the time to observe the people and places around him before making any decisions on how to behave. Once he opens up he can be very friendly but slightly awkward as it becomes clear he hasn’t had too many close friends in his life. He is clever, though quick to act, and always has his mind set on his own personal goals. Sev is very protective of animals and of people who can’t defend themselves and won’t stand for the abuse of either. Though he appears to be a bit of a loner, deep down he strongly desires to find a group of friends.

History:
Sevrin was born in north England, in a small town called Slingsby, northeast of York. His mother, JoAnna is a muggle, a primary school teacher, and his father, Marten, is an Auror of small renown; they had met in York while he was investigating a rogue wizard who was murdering muggles in a gruesome manner. He had saved her life and they quickly fell in love and, after being married, they moved north into the country for a ‘quiet life’.
Sevrin was their first child, though they’ve since had one more, and they were delighted to learn of his wizarding ability. He’d grown up in both the worlds and had even attended the muggle primary school, though he never quite felt like he fit in with the children there, and most teachers thought him (and his parents) a bit too eccentric with his ‘imagination’. From his earliest memories, Sev had always wanted to follow his father as an Auror; going head to head with dark wizards in amazing duels; and so when he received his letter from Hogwarts he was overjoyed. Marten had been a Gryffindor and spoke highly of his house, though he never explicitly pushed for Sev to try and be sorted there. Sev took these teachings to heart, for it wasn’t often he and his father shared a real heart-to-heart as the man was often too busy with work.

NPCs:
Marten Crillden (Father)– An Auror of small renown, he is one of the chief investigators of the Yorkshire department and handles many of the cases involving dark wizards and witches in that area. He is an expert on forbidden magic, particularly those with pagan/druidic roots, and can speak 7 different languages. He graduated from Hogwarts in 1994, earning his Auror license 3 years later and survived the Second Wizarding War though he earned a large scar across the left side of his throat.

JoAnna Crillden (Mother)– Muggle born, she grew up in north York and attended university in the city, earning her primary school teachers license. Her natural beauty merely accentuates her kind heart and cheerful spirit and she holds a deep love for all living things. During her late university years there was a string of violent murders on and around her school campus, while the muggle news reported the possibility of a serial killer they couldn’t explain the strange nature of some of the deaths and their investigation was going nowhere. It was one night later that year, three days before the winter solstice, when she was ambushed on the street and kidnapped. She was held for over 48 hours by the deranged wizard who planned on using her as a sacrifice but was eventually rescued by a squad of Auror’s led by Marten. While he did wipe her mind at first, as was protocol, he found himself being drawn to her beauty and personality during his follow-ups and they eventually fell in love. She has since had her ‘eyes opened’ to the magical world she never knew existed and delights in learning about all the strange people and creatures of their world.

Name:

Ajax Leroufe-DeCroy

Nickname(s):

AJ

Gender:

Male

Age:

12

House:

To be sorted

Appearance:

Ajax is called "a weird child" repeatedly by his previous teachers and this doesn't appear in his appearance. His hair is a dark brown, originally black but the chlorine from the pool when he swam turned it this way. His hair is combed back, the ends spiking a little. His eyes are a light brown, deep and sparkling with wonder. He only has a few pimples and no black heads. His nose is proportion to his face, while his head is a bit big. He has tan coloured skin. He is 5'5 and is slightly buffed up, just a bit more streamlined due to his swimming. His hands a bit callous from holding his Eskrima sticks and his eppee.

Wand:

A fir wand. It is just shy of nine and one-half inches long. The core consists of hippogriff tail hair. The wand was at the basement of the shop that Ajax went in. It took so long for AJ to choose a wand that it took 7 hours to find one. The shopkeeper almost died of excitement and joy.

Pet:

A Snowy Owl by the name of Fuji. She is slightly smaller than the rest of her kind but she is speedy and intelligent, akin to the owl of the legendary Harry Potter.

Strengths:

Strong: Ajax's father wanted to be strong like himself, as he was a former NZ soldier. His father practiced Eskrima, a martial art from the island nation of the Philippines. Of course, he wanted to teach Ajax how to defend himself. From then on, Ajax's father was a parent as well as a sensei to him, teaching him the ways of Eskrima. Of course, that and coupled with his swimming skills and fencing classes, Ajax grew up to be a very strong boy. With stamina to boot, of course.

Unpredictable: Being a very weird and self proclaimed fantastic person, Ajax's brain works very different from normal. He is weird and very unpredictable most of the time. His childish demeanour can immediately change into a more serious Ajax, one that anyone that knows him would not mess with. This may be because of the enormous amounts of Dubstep he listens to and makes.

Weaknesses:

Attitude: Ajax swears a lot. I mean, swears a lot. Mostly because of genes and the mates he hanged out with, Ajax is also very impatient with people he doesn't like. Most of the time if someone pisses him off, Ajax will immediately flip the guy the bird and kick him in the gut. He is very quick to violence and his swearing may make some teachers look down at him because of it.

Cluelessness: Ajax was basically thrust into the wizarding world. He was a "pure" muggleborn, with no magical parents at all. He was given some brief information, basic and simple by Mcgonagall. He was surprised by the wizarding world and is still recovering from the shock of being a wizard.

Strength on left arm: As a child, Ajax was always plagued with his weak left arm. It is as buff looking as his right but is not as strong as the right and is easily susceptible to pain and to fracturing.

Personality:

As said previously, Ajax is a very weird child. He is a bit less reserved to say what he wants to say, and sometimes just spouts out the craziest things just cause. Rainbows and unicorns are said the most. He is very confident and likes his dubstep and techno. His cheery attitude and childish demeanour may bring a smile. But when someone insults him, he combusts into a swearing, red face, angry boy with love for violence and a certain like for punching someone.

History:

Ajax was born in Avondale, Auckland, New Zealand. Erin Leroufe, a full muggle of French descent and Ajax's mother, was a nuclear physicist and a graduate of Unitec. Aaron DeCroy, a 5th generation New Zealander and a muggle, was a soldier in the NZDF and had military training. Erin was walking down to work one day when she was mugged. The man put a knife to Erin's neck and threatened to slice it open if she didn't tell him what her passcode is for her MasterCard. Aaron then came out of nowhere and shot the man in the head, being on leave from the ship he served on. They soon fell in love and married.

Ajax is their only child. He is a born and bred New Zealander, growing up over there. Ajax made many friends during his time in New Zealand, still not aware of his wizarding capabilities. The family then moved over to England when Ajax was the age of 11 because his mum found a new workplace in London. He didn't feel quite right when he went into his english muggle primary. All the students thought he was weird, because of his accent and his weird name. He never got any friends and for the first time in his life, he felt alone. When he turned twelve, he received the invitation to Hogwarts. His parents were surprisingly calm about this, knowing that Ajax was always something special. When he was going to leave for Hogwarts, his dad looked him in the eye and said "AJ, don't worry okay? You'll be fine mate. It's a whole new world over there. Me and your mum always thought you were special. Now go out there and learn how to make card tricks!"

NPCs:

Aaron Leroufe-DeCroy (Father): A 5th generation New Zealander and a muggle, was a soldier in the NZDF and had military training. Aaron is a kind hearted man, wilful and honourable. He is almost what you would call a stereotypical Kiwi. He has a laid back attitude, a liking for fish and chips and a love for his home country. He always had a very down to earth attitude to things and always spoke his mind.

Erin Leroufe-DeCroy (Mother): Erin Leroufe, a full muggle of French descent and Ajax's mother, was a nuclear physicist and a graduate of Unitec. Erin was always a fierce hearted lady. Like Aaron, always spoke her mind on things. She was a woman that took lead and was a workaholic. She loved Ajax and would do anything to make him safe, just like any mother should.
