Leos Klien A gun to kill the past.

It turns out that the man who was to address the entirety of the hundreds of thousands who were assembled here was a man named Dr. Richard Queen... This surprised Victor a great deal, the successor to the Queen legacy, a tainted legacy with out a doubt. Elias Queen, the woman who founded/created Pure energy, not something to be taken lightly as she was idolised by all, and she quickly became someone of great power and influence, and with that came fear. As all humans fear that which is unknown, Pure energy was brand new to the world and already almost the entirety of it started to utilise it, it replaced almost all forms of energy, making the likes of coal and oil obsolete. She cost many people in the world their jobs... She made many enemies... And then, the consensual prayers of all her enemies were answered with the tragic event called the "Magical calamity", an entire nation, devoured by the throngs of Man-kinds dare to progress into the future on the back of an unknown creation. Victor pulled himself from his thoughts as he took another sip from his tea, and the announcement that the event was about to begin was called, Victor made his way to the balcony that showed the podium, and there stood a man, none other than Dr. Queen himself. His speech began and as he went on Victor began to suspect something, he was not a superstitous person, but it was true that some people were forever cursed, on some names and ideas were always destined to fail, something that will always end up in a calamitous event. And then Queen made his statement of someone who could control both time and space, or at least that's what he heard, Victor was a lawyer. Yes. But he knew that somethings were never to be tampered with, Time being one of them. The one thing that he believed kept the entire universe, and maybe reality itself connected was time, and in turn space as the two were inexorably linked. The faster you move through space, the slower time gets, as a result the two are always connected. Then, the doll named Truth Weiss appeared. This was enough for Victor, he glared at the doll and he knew fine well that, that thing would not be good news, it wasn't even human! At least humans are predictable, but Dr. Queen may as well have given an AI unlimited power! "This... Will not end well..." After the angelic speech, the demons started appearing... "Shit! Screams emanated all aroud him and the mass of people started fleeing away in a great crush, people being trampled in the process, but Victor noticed gunshots to the left of him, he didn't know much about demons, but he knew that bullets would do jack-shit. Pushing through the thinning crowd he grabbed a women by the forearm and shouted. "That will do nothing! We have to leave or we will die!"

Name: Masayume Yakuse Disaster, that is the only way to describe this situation. Truth Weiss, whose creation surrounded with mystery, are now taking form of the devil itself summoning countless lesser devil under its command. This 'doll' is totally different from the one he knows. While Yakuse still trying to short out his mind, the voice of his nephew snapped him back into reality. That's right, it's not the time for that. However the monsters' action caught his attention. It doesn't appear to be attacking indiscriminately, there's something this creatures trying to accomplish. "Principal, please take care of my students. Hurry up and go! I'll hold them back for now" He shouted, activating his bracelet Madou. Physical enchantment, a layer of [Pure Energy] is now on Yakuse's whole body, decreasing external forces that may harm him and enhance the output of power would deal. This kind of enemy... Yakuse had experienced dealing with creatures like them, hope his experience from back then will be useful now. One, two, Yakuse start skipping left and right resembling a boxer. One by one, Yakuse swiftly skip in front one of the monsters and... *SWOOSH* clash both of his arms together, creating a shock wave, dissolving the creatures into the air. Huh... but the creature soon revert back to its original from, completely unscratched. But at least its regeneration time took several seconds, maybe it's enough to hold them back at least.

It didn't take very long for the C2 building to become cram-full of foreigners like himself, especially considering its massive size. It was like a train back in Japan, or maybe more like an immensely popular muscian's sold-out concert. Fortunately Arata had arrived early enough not to be like one of the unfortunate late arrivals stuck in the cramped spaces near the entrance. The ESPer looked down and twiddled his fingers as he waited for Dr. Queen's presentation to start.

'I wonder what this assembly's all about...' the Japanese student thought as the doctor in question took to the stage. Arata listened to the doctor speak like the astute student he was. It looked like once more the Queen legacy would work another one of their miracles. However, as grand as this one was, one could only hope it wouldn't result in something akin to their other crowning achievement. This talk of 'refining the present to usher in an era of the future' seemed like it could go really, really badly. However, as the show went on, Arata had to express his doubts on his pessimism. Or perhaps just adopt a new thing to be pessimistic about, like this 'Truth Weiss' that supposedly embodied time and space - although Arata had to admit that, given his own existence, that such a thing should be possible, in theory at least. And was apparently made using the same doll plans as Elias Queen, the same woman who brought about the Magical Calamity a few decades ago.

Bode well, this did not.

The young man pushed his negative thoughts to the back of his head. If this was pulled off properly, the world would change for the better. Wasn't that something worth hoping for? A circuit opened up in Arata's head as the Truth Weiss spoke in its alien language, transmitting information into his brain. He didn't see what the big deal was, telepathy was a thing and this wasn't even future calculation; it was just regular old general knowledge of worldly science. Supposedly the 'embodiment of space-time' was going to show them all a 'refined version of their perspective'. That was fine and all, but when do both the space and time components come in? The Vessel of Magical Knowledge began chanting again, but this time it was... distorted? It was something like static in the space manipulator's brain. He barely registered the alarms sounding, designating the status of a Level 5 Emergency. People rushed past the ESPer, trying to escape the C2 building as a rift began opening, spawning demons in its wake.

He gazed into the abyss.

"----Ah....?"

A fragment of his mind breaks. He could not comprehend it no matter how hard he tried. His vision was fading, consumed and corrupted by the maelstrom. The eldritch world, the alien geometries, the incalculable vistas of that demonic realm.... His consciousness, his whole being was degenerating in the presence of this rabbit hole, this window into an incomprehensible reality. Static consumed his hearing. He couldn't stay here, or he'd die. Maybe it would be the demons, maybe it would be the building, maybe it would be that godforsaken breach... But he couldn't move, no matter how hard he tried. He twitched his fingers, trying to clench his fist with the entirety of his existence. If he could do that, he could hang on to his sanity.

"G...Gah-----!"

Strength returned to Arata. His limp hand was a fist. The ESPer forced his arm to obstruct his gaze from that dreadful rift. He moved his legs forward; there was nothing but air. His senses were returning to him. He registered the sounds of screams and gunfire, failing foundations and fiendish sounds. He was slumped against the wall, jolts of pain shooting through his legs. He stepped up onto the ground, bracing himself against the wall. He took a weak step forward, and then another. He stumbled down the stairwell from the balcony seating.

A shock ran through Arata's brain as he bore witness to the rift's malevolent radiance once more. He shielded his eyes from the sight before more damage could be done.

'D-Dammit, there's no exit on this side...' he thought, teeth grit as he glanced about the area. Leaving meant passing the battlefield, which meant exposing himself to demons. His body trembled as his sense of feeling had begun to return. Thus, there was only one way to leave here alive-- a visceral cracking noise came from his legs as pain of a thousand needles shoot up from his trampled shins ---and that was to stop these demons. Arata collapsed before his bones could snap in half. He couldn't send the demons back into their hellish domain or kill them outright. Not right now at least.

--But he could close the breach.

Arata propped himself up against the wall. He didn't trust his power under his current state, but he'd have to pour all his faith into this one action. He dropped his arm and faced the full force of the rift's effects head on. "Grrr..!" he growled gutterally as he resisted. He was going to break again. Nononono. He couldn't let himself break; he was the only one here who could close the rift.

'Designating points....'

'....Points set. Editing spatial parameters....'

....Parameters set. Execute function.

There was no fanfare, giant explosion, resounding boom, or any such theatrical nonsense. The rift was just gone, leaving an empty stage and an absolutely gigantic headache for the young ESPer who'd sealed it.

Jackson barely noticed that the rift had bee sealed, he was so absorbed in the task of fighting off the demons from attacking the innocent bystanders, An earth demon was going after a young girl, only to be flung up high into the sealing, then slammed down with twice as much force into the ground, soon it's body began to jerk around violently as a barrage of invisible blades began to repeatedly and forcefully stab into it.

A smoke demon approached Jackson from the left, but he created a telekinetic sphere around it,, condensing it to the size of a marble, then blasted against a far wall with great force, causing it to crack around the area of impact. JAckson would continue on in this way, decimating the solid demons and containing the smoke ones, until there were no more around. He wasn't sure if he had taken care of them all, or not, but he sat down in a chair with a sigh, tired and exhausted from the effort. The smoke demons were fighting the bonds of his mental prisons, and he'd only be able to hold them back for so long.
