I don't intend to suspend anybody unless it's something really egregious. These posts can always be retroactively edited, so unless someone were to just flat-out refuse to fix some sort of glaring issue (like if somebody deus-ex-machina'ed themselves a flamethrower and started Shock Trooping their way through VC while being magically untouched by bullets), there's no reason anybody should have to be suspended. This group doesn't seem like the sort who would do that anyway.

Looking forward to continuing this RP, it's a fun one.

Absolutely. Though truth be told, I don't know how much use they'll be. The last time they fought a jungle conflict they got their asses kicked by three-foot-tall bears armed with sticks and moxie. Though I suppose they'll be able to lay down quite a bit of (inaccurate) suppressing fire....Haha

The History Channel is actually showing history for a change (Shock, I know!) They've been airing their Vietnam in HD documentary series all through the evening. It's a good reference to people who might want to get a feel for the people who were effected by the war.

There's a third plot device downed chopper.

After that, any new comers will have to form as part of a theoretical relief or rescue force.

Things appear to be getting ugly. I'll write up my assault post here in a bit, wrap things up with this firefight, then start trying to put together a plan in my brain housing group that'll help them survive the inevitable contact with Hero Company (not that our boys know they exist yet; it'll just be for my personal use once they become active in the story.)

These motherfuckers better come out of this with some serious medals haha

There, I went with a submachinegun that Barnes doesn't recognize because there were a lot of Viet Cong weapons that were used in the war that, quite frankly, the average grunt might not immediately recognize.
