I have been a devoted PbP roleplayer some years ago, and have decided to test it as a complementary platform for my DnD group. As we get older, meetings become more and more scarce, and it is very easy to lose momentum.
But registering here has slowly woken an ancient hunger to write and imagine, so I am interested in joining a game or two here. Since you'd obviously like to know more about a stranger wishing to invade your game, here's some text about me:
I have started my RPing career in the PlanetBaldur'sGate forum of GameSpy about 15 years ago. After spending a few years in Freeform, I advanced to tabletop (online), some 3ed but mainly 3.5ed DnD. I have read most, maybe all of the expansions for 3.5ed, and consider myself mildly proficient in it. I am not an expert, simply because most of the games I was in were more about story than numbers, and we would seldom level if at all. I have also gained some proficiency in M&M. I have never touched 4ed or 5ed. These days I play Edge of the Empire with friends every odd month, with no PbP activity.
That's my proficiencies. They are kind of technical because it would be kind of challenging to demonstrate my writing style out of context, but if you insist I can do it.
What I like to play is anything high-magic or high-fantasy. My favorite setting is WoW D&D because it is ridiculously hi-magic, but anything down to classic DnD works. I'd like to join a casual game that requires an update twice a week at the most (with a chance to expand on weekends).
To sum up, I am glad to be here, and as the old Munchkin card says, "Pick Meeeeeee!!!"
