[IC] Orphanage for Supernatural Kids

Hunters morning was simple, get up, eat, find pants, lose shirt, find shirt at the last minute before he started to get to work. Well he was int he halls he noticed the cars in the parking lot. "Well then, new people? Lots of them. Madam isn't going to be to happy about this. Guess I should head to the gym, testing time is going to be soon."

Hunter went down to the gym, He always found it interesting to see what powers the new kids brought. Some were amazing like being able to move things with their minds! Others were closer to making flowers grow. Which was fine, but not as exciting to Hunter. He was interested to see what powers were being brought in today.

Hunter found a chair and sat down, waiting to meet the new people coming in.

Jordan, it would seem, was in a little bit of a confusing situation. He had come to the orphanage, as his... 'Friend', had suggested, but unfortunately he had absolutely no clue what was going on. What was worse is that it seemed as if he was late. There were several others, somewhat near to his age, already inside the main room when he had shown up however as he entered the house an old woman had come down and requested everyone follow her just as he entered. Should he follow them? Was he even in the right place? Quite honestly he was at a loss, but none the less he followed after them. After a moment, he suddenly reached forwards and touched one of the girls shoulders (Sarah) with a slight sigh. "I'm sorry, I uh .... I have no clue what's going on. Where is everyone going?"

Clíodhna walked around campus for a short while after class got out she had to stay here as long as possible till everyone left so she could change her appearance without notice. she looked around and when free and clear she would change to look a lil older the what she was her glamour washed over her slowly. she took one more look around then started to walk off passing a large mansion like home. she walked past not giving it a second thought until she saw the cop car drive off the grounds. she ducked ducked in as the gates open and read on a plaque that it was the orphanage the girls in school were talking about she looked around walked up the steps keeping out of sight and peeking in threw one of the front windows.

Alex looked down to Katherine and nodded his head again out of habit "It's...complicated" he said speaking to her as his mind wandered to his mother. She would be so excited to hear him speaking so much, always saying that he was to quite. Latino men are proud and passionate she would say. He was only half Mexican and he took more after his father, but his mother didn't seem to care. He smiled a bit as he walked fallowing. Hearing some one speaking behind him as she kept a good steady pace for the girl to fallow feeling that arm hook around his. He could feel the chill on her skin as he looked down to her with a bit of an inquisitive look, but said nothing as he thought about what he could do, as well as that other inside of him .

Felix turned to the housekeeper. "What are we going to do in the gym?" He was wondering what they would do. If it was controlling their powers, he hoped the gym was heavily protected. "Are we going to use our powers? I don't want to accidentally destroy this area." He wasn't boasting, he was afraid. Afraid for the people who were here. They had nowhere to go if this place was broken. He didn't want to do that.
(EDIT): "I'm not boasting or anything, I just.....I have a hard time controlling my powers."

Sarah felt something tap her on the shoulder and spun around. It was a boy who looked older than her sister. He asked where everyone was going. "Late huh? All the new people are going to the gym to be tested. Me and my sister are coming along to watch."
Sam did her best to stay out of sight of the stranger, and wished her sister did the same.
"So, what's your name? Mine's Sarah." She then pointed to her sister "And that's Samantha, my sister. She likes being called Sam though, don't know why, Sam sounds like a boys name."
Sam didn't look to pleased to be pointed out.

Jordan was thrown off by the sudden hyper speech of the girl, but somehow it managed to put him at ease, even if it was only slighly. "My names Jordan, pleased to meet you Sarah." He replied with a warm smile before looking over at Sam with the same warm smile, however he paused slightly. She was fairly close to his age, if only a little younger... He hadn't really expected much of that. "Sam. Nice to meet you too."

she saw no one in the front room so she open the door slowly and walked in closing it behind her and walked around just admiring how pretty it was. it was warm and cozy more then the last few places she has had to sleep lately. she herd voices and walked toward them keeping herself hidden around the corner just listening.

"Jordan...Jordan...Nice name" Sarah said with a smile.
Sam smiled a little when she was addressed. She took note of his little pause, it made her curious, he didn't seem shocked.
Sarah motioned forward "Come on, you need to do your test, and we need to find a seat." She turned around "Can't wait to see what you can do"
Sam observed Jordan for a few more seconds before moving on to find a seat to watch the tests.

Jordan held Sam's small stare for a moment, almost as if he didn't want to look away. When she turned to go find a seat, he blinked and frowned slightly before suddenly jogging after the pair, his eyes filled with that emotion he seemed to be feeling so much of today: confusion. "Hang on, what? Test? What test ?"

"The test housekeeper makes newcomers take. To make sure you should be here. It's easier than you think" Sam said as she slowed down and turned towards Jordan
"Yeah, don't worry. Can't wait to see what you do." spoke Sarah as she continued on to a seat.
Sam stared at Jordan again, this time her eyes were more piercing than observing "I'm sure you'll pass, it feels like you should be here" then pointed to the small group of others who were going to be tested "Go there, the testing should start soon." She turned around again and joined her sister.

"Alright children. Please take a seat on the benches." The housekeeper pointed to the bleachers that were on one side of the room. She wasn't a mean woman but she wasn't exactly patient either. She had been running the orphanage for a long time. "Now the first thing we have to do is that all of you can be here to do that I want you to demonstrate your power. Be reassured that this building was specially designed and has survived many kids with abilities like yours."

she looks at all the people sit down and slips in taking a seat in the back. powers she thought to herself could she mean like her glamour she looked around- they all looked like normal kids. but then again so did she.

Reiji followed the housekeeper to the gym, where she told the children to take a seat on the benches, and they're there to demonstrate their power, and she wants the children to demonstrate their powers. Reiji sat on the bench near the edge, still wondering what song to use.

Dante listened to instructions. She sat down at the back, though she was one of the first there. When she watched everyone come in, she realized that even more people had shown up! It was amazing how many people there were. So, she just sat back and waited for the woman to call her up, or ask for volunteers.

Alex walked into the gym with kat on his arm. Looking over to the older lady he lead her too the benches and helped her get seated. He him self choose to stand though as he took his bag off of his back and set it down and he put his hands into his pocket standing at the end. He wondered a bit what she would want, a simple "turn on your power" of if they would have to demenstrate them a bit as well.

Jordan gave Sam a quick nod of appreciaton before heading towards the benches, sitting front and center. Demonstrate powers huh? Well, he wasn't nervous about that .... Little did he know it, but Jordan had much more control over his abilities than most of the kids in this room. But how was he supposed to show it? There wasn't any earth in here...

"So," Felix asked. "Who goes first? Do we all go at the same time? Do we just go whenever we want?" He looked around him, wondering if anyone besides the housekeeper knew.

Hunter looked at the group of kids. "Damn...The Hausmeister is going to have to do a lot to test all these kids, Largest batch I'v seen in my life time." Hunter walked over tot he benches, he figured it was his job to help out where he could...Lots of kids, normally meant lots of help, or a punching bag was needed, either way Hunter made the best of it. "You kiddos ready for day one?" he would ask the crowd of new comers.

"would you like to demonstrate first? You will go one at a time. The idea is to prove that you belong here and to give the others a chance to see what you can do. We have a schedule most days but with so many new arrivals we will have to forgo that." the housekeeper commented. "you are right Hunter there is an unusual amount this time. We will need to make stew for lunch. Will you start that when we are done here?"
