In a certain city there is a dungeon, created by the gods. A dungeon that constantly grows as you advance floor by floor. It was in this city that the very gods that created it came down to earth to share the experiences of those who journey into it. They give their blessing to the adventurers who have faith in them. Their Familia. Journey new adventurer and bring your Familia to the top

The rules are simple
1.) No trolling
2.) No being rude
3.) Keep active
4.) 3 strikes and your out
5.) Be original
6.) Have fun
7.) Oh and any rare skills or magic must be checked with me and have at least one weakness. And your allowed one rare skill and one rare magic

Here are some explanations for some crucial points in developing your character and the rp:

The Dungeon: The dungeon is a magically created labyrinth made by the gods. It is all growing meaning the deeper you go the more floors it will have. Each floor is roughly the same size but in some area's are larger than others due to monsters that live in each floor. Adventures fight the monsters who live in the floors in order to acquire magics stones and item drops which can be sold for currency (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Copper) After Every 5 Floors there is a boss to fight.

The Gods/Goddesses: They created this city, and the dungeon within. Now you are able to play as one but you no longer have your godly power. Due to a law that all deities agreed to, they are unable to us their heavenly powers but the skills they had from when they are all powerful stay with them. (EX: Hephaestus is still a god like blacksmith. Freya is still has her otherworldly beauty.) If you play a goddess you are able to use your divine powers in one way. Your blessing to your Familia (PS Genderbending Deities is allowed)

Familia's: Familia's are groups of adventures that are under the blessing of one god or goddess. Just as long as a god/goddess has one adventure under their blessing they can have a Familia.

Blesssing: A Blessing is what makes an adventurer an adventurer. It is the core of their skills, magic and anything else that involves their status. The blessing will have different effects depending on the adventurer, resulting in different skills and statuses. Though each blessing is different there is usually one thing that connects a familia together whether it be a skill, spell, or stat

Status: Your status is a list of all your stats (Strength, speed, agility, etc), race, skills, magics, class(front lines, tank, vanguard, support etc) current level, and experience you gain. A status must constantly be updated by your god/goddess n order to level up and acquire skills. (Magic can be learned by reading a grimiore or by being a certain race or under the protection of a certain God/Goddess)

Where some of those Blessed by Persephone are adventuers, those that are not are often farmers, apothetcaries, animal trainers and alchemists.

Blessing

Persephone's Blessing centers mainly around enhancing adventurers physical prowess. She gives them protection and the ability to communicate with nature - even if it is on a rudimentary level. An animal companion as well if gifted to them, though it appears to them at a point in time that not even the Goddess herself can predict. Her gifts are stronger during the day, allowing some adventurers to even control the plants around them, though at night her Blessing dims and in the winter nature almost never responds.

Equipment

Oak Wood staff - engraved with magic runes that allow her to channel her power into her spells and cast them with more efficiency and accuracy.

Fire Rat Hide Cloak - Protects her from the effects of fire attacks and spells. Also reduces physical damage.

Talents

Herbalist; She is knowledgeable of plant life and it's properties, such as what is edible, healthy, poisonous and what helps heal what. She's a natural at cultivating plants and making flower arrangements when she is not assisting her Familia in the Dungeon.

Alchemy; She is adept at creating helpful potions and mixing things for different results.

Support Spells

Bramble Thorns
- String of brambles wrap around the target enemy and bind them in place, restricting their movements and dealing minimal damage to the target. Allies attacks will cause each vine to explode separately, dealing massive amounts of damage to the target. 30 Second [three post] cool down. -

Shield
- Casts on an ally to raise their defense, covering their body in transparent and weightless armor. This armor stops most physical damage and half magic attacks. May cast on multiple allies at a time, with decreased effectiveness -

Astral Bind
- Binds the target in place, does not restrict magic use. Deals no damage -

Keen Edge
- Raise attack power of ally for a limited time -

Sleep
- Cast on enemy. On hit applies sleep status, endcuing deep sleep on the target. May be attached to Electrical Fuzz -

Offensive Spells

Summon Familiar
- Summon an animal companion to assist in the situation. Lasts indefinitely or until the companion takes too much damage or a new familiar is summoned -

Electrical Fuzz
- Casts a small ball of electrical damage in the direction of cast, applies blind to enemies and lowers their accuracy. Very little damage output -

Sweet, Gentle and Kind

Protective, Merciful, Gracious

I'm thinking about making an adventures from, maybe... Ares (probably gender bent into a rather violent tsundere) familia? But I can change this depending on circunstances. I don't think that playing as a god is fun at all, since they can't do anything too out of the extraordinary anymore.

I don't think we're reserving player places so I think you're totally fine.


I kinda knew that, but that's just a way of saying that I'm interested. Anyway, don't guess that I can make it before tomorrow, or the day after, if it's not a bother, of course.

@MThePathSeeker The only thing I wanna ask is if I can do both an adventurer and a god(ess) or if I have to choose one or the other? I don't really think I'll be playing as a god(ess) too much, because they are rather uninteresting but it could be useful to have both characters under my disposal. If nothing else, this could help beef up my IC posts.

Greetings. Might I be welcomed into this group? This looks rather interesting indeed, and I'd love a dungoney adventure! I do have one question: How will combat be handled? Also, how strict is the Familia/"worship system"?

@tobiax well the combat system works like an rpg you have frontlinesmen, support, range, back lines support, what class you choose will not matter as it is your character. As for your familia question that also depends on what God you choose as it would depend on what attribute they are. But as its your character you can shape your gods personality. But if your asking what if you need a familia to start out you don't really but it is good to have one for living purposes.

@ViolentViolet I guess I won't be able to do it today (my today, at least) after all, 'cause I still have to go to college, sorry. I'll really try to work on it tomorrow since I have a day off from work.

Blessing:

-Familiars usually gain enhanced Agility and Wisdom growth.

-All Familiars are 20% more resistance the mental ailments(Taunted,confusion, Berserk etc)

-All Familiars gain the power to convert *Luna energy into mana.

-All Familiars will later gain a active which grant them night vision, this ability will however continuity drain a little mana until it user deactivates it. Mikoto himself has no idea of what require to learn this skill.

*Luna Energy: Pretty much solar power, except the energy came from the light of the moon.

Illusory Spells

Illusory Blast: - Fires a bright glowing projectile, anyone who hit by it will temporary loose there grip on reality(results may vary)

Illusory Veil: Uses Illusory magic to change one physical appearance.

Light Veil: Use Illusory Magic to make one invisible.
