In all honesty, i'm not going out of my way to harm your character or whatnot. I'm just RPing how i think a Chaplain and specifically a Black Templar at that would react. I think I've got a way that we can both continue on (for now, muhahaha), albeit at odds.

There's quite abit here that a Chaplain or indeed most astartes might find... troubling to say the least. From a terminator calling a witch "cute", to the face of Zethidis that brings to mind the work of Fabius Bile. Where the begin.

Nah, I liked the background, it wasn't wasted in my mind. It might have changed Aleros' view of the marine somewhat, even if he doesn't say it directly. I'll change the part about pysker powers, i'll think of something less restricting. Unless you want to keep it and try to hide the fact that you're using them from Aleros in a game of cat and mouse.

Yeah, 40k is not a universe where being 'unique' is not usually a good thing. So the fact that you are an enigmatic Legionnaire that shows up in the Imperium's darkest hour and sways the tide of battle, hosting significant psychic abilities (one of which is directly derived from the warp(time bubble)), and having an abominable face- you're not going to be welcomed to most dinner parties.

That is, in the standard 40k universe, GoW is bolstering a setting that is much more lax in it's 'master race' mentality. Now to Lone's credit, he is playing his chapter very well, and his chapter doesn't mesh well with what your character is and does. Such is the nature of 40k though. So you're liable to ruffle a few feathers, Rand just doesn't care because he's looking for the next fight. Space wolves have a much more liberal mentality (being one of the few chapters that aren't chem-gelded), have a history of being anti-authoritarian, and just generally want a good fight to honor the 'All-Father'.

So you're going to have some spats, but believe me... It could be much, much worse >_<

Why are you replying like that? It gives me the feeling that you think you're being persecuted for a lack of better term. Aleros isn't doing what he is doing for a kick, i'm simply role playing the role of a Black Templar Chaplain and responding as such. I'm not doing it because of any OOC reasons, I like your character OOC, just Aleros does not and that's completely IC.

You didn't really answer my question though; Would you like me to change the psyker threat or not? I'm fine either way, no problem for me.

Consider it a learning experience. You're fine playing your character as you wish, due to this not being a die-hard Warhammer universe.

Edit: Hell, if I were to bring up my Fan-dom Red Wolf lore to the 'codex thumpers' I'd be laughed out of the hobby shop. We're all taking liberties here... Well execept for @Lone Wanderer that codex thumper.

PRIP! SHUT UP AND STOP BEING SORRY FOR HAVING AN AWESOME CHARACTER!

*cough* Now, if we're done with that. Prip, never punish yourself for creativity. The Warhammer universe is full of quarrels and other problems (take the Horus Heresy for example). This is still an RP, and inspiration and indivuality is always encouraged. Fighting is just a Terminator's nature, and when you fit Terminators with other Terminators who are not from the other's chapter, your gonna get something like what Zethidis and Aleros has. Honestly, I think this rivalry gives the game some spicy flare. If you weren't playing Zethidis the way you do, we wouldn't have this drama that's giving the game it's realistic appeal.

In Short; Your doing great, don't question your Roleplaying skills.
