I'd argue it's actually better, it's lighter, covers all the vital areas fine, and has none of the weak spots at the joints that conventional armour has.

Well, speaking of vital areas and weak spots on joints. It doesn't cover the shins and knees at all and leaves his head exposed.

Are we using the specific custom clothing in the reference picture to make these assumptions then? When someone says cloak I think cloak, not custom cloak.

What vital areas?(keeping in mind he's undead) He has no living arteries, the important one is his heart which is unprotected in the front (along with all those stomach organs).... then there's his head which is unprotected...his legs... I don't know, I don't see how it's a hyper upgrade of protection over full plate mail.

Whatever, I'm not being drawn back into this argument again over technicalities and special circumstances, just continue to complain about my character until we come to some sort of conclusion and can get on with things.

Maybe once she stabs/cuts into a wound on her body it takes a turn for the spirit to properly edtablish itself so she'd had to wait until the next turn to use it. A spirit can deconnect and go back into her sword on a single turn, though.

I'll likely change her race name. She can just be known as an elf for the time being.

I was a tad worried about the cloak but she can be firin' her lazor or stab his face. Or just get in a cat fight and ignore him.

I think that should work, turn is another way of saying prep anyway.

Great coat. The picture is reference to where the coat protects.

[@Grevious Khan]

In regards to Tordor.

There are a few things that i'd like to be specified: what exact effects do the Blood Drinker's life drain, the Black Flame, the Screeching Widow's sonic attack and the Field Emitter have? How damaging are they?

Also, what do exactly mean by the bullets having no weight (and thus, kinetic energy) and being unable to be affected by outside forces - in other words, not interacting with matter?

Your space in my name seems to have messed up the link thing. For the sonic attack I'm thinking 200dB at most. Hard to calculate energy drain, I'd say anything from 1-2% for direct hits. Also keep in mind the guns are not going to be used in this battle, but nether bolts, much like light, do not have mass thus do not have weight to them.

Ahem. Light has mass, as it is composed of photons. The gravitational warping of light by black holes is an example of how their mass is affected by a physical force.

As for everything else, that seems fine. I assume the life drain applies to the Field Emitter and Black Flame as well, meaning that those two don't deal physical or heat damage as well?

Well that contradicts every source I've ever found. But I'm not a expert anyway.

Photons don't have mass though? They just have momentum, which from a wikipedia refresher seems to be the reason for physical interaction.

They don't damage physical objects aside from, causing them to corrode or rot more quickly, depending on the object.

I guess I'll post next, unless IN is particularly eager, I'll probably be an hour or so unless I forget and do it tomorrow morning instead.
