"Thank you. I am alright. I stopped when I heard the sound of electricity. That was you wasn't it?"She asked. She was almost certain that noise had been linked to Mark. "My name is Katherin Winter. I heard that they are having a welcoming gathering in the square. I figured I would be able to follow the noise but the school is oddly quiet. I think I am early. I appreciate any help you can give me."

"Yes, I promise to call every week and tell you how I am and- Mum, I'm pretty sure they have a doctor on campus, you don't have t- Dad, stop playing, I'm 18! Oh, ok fine then." Pat hugged his parents, received a kiss on the cheek from his mom, a high-5 from his dad, and waved goodbye as he watched them drive back the way they came.

He took a breath as he pulled his luggage towards the large white building. "Well, hello new home." To be honest, he was excited to meet the other students and see what they're like. "Maybe someone'll be like, I dunno, have fire powers, or maybe invisibility, or maybe they can fly- Aw man, this is gonna be so cool!"

The heir of the Shadow World girl waved again, her long silvery hair shining and her black amulet glowing black with mist around it. "Im Angel, Heir of the Shadow World!" She said, raising her arms and causing another tree to Turn black with shadows and have the leaves fall off.

“Dad always said to give a helping hand to anyone and everyone. He also said some other things I’m not repeating,” Mark said as he remembered everything his father taught him. He was about to say something when he noticed small sparks of lightning around his hand. Great, this again. Mark thought as he sighed and backed away from Katherin.

“I’m sorry about this Ms. Winter, I hope you’re not too scared after this, but,” Mark said before he was interrupted when he suddenly disappeared. There was a loud crackle of thunder before Mark reappeared and was slammed into a tree a few feet away from Katherin. He cursed under his breath before he got up. He stood there for a few seconds letting the pain go away before he walked back towards Katherin.

“Sorry about that, when I use my Lightning to teleport, there’s this backlash that sometimes happens where I’m sent flying in an opposite direction. I haven’t fully gotten use to my powers. Anyway, where did you need me to bring your bags? I’ll be more than happy to take them for you,” Mark said as he smiled. He was still feeling the pain of being flung into a tree but he just tried to ignore it.

He saw the waving girl and waved back with a smile, though his eyes widened as he saw the tree change to a dead black color. "H-Hi, I'm Pat, n-nice to see you...?
"I am way in over my head..." he thought to himself.

Katherin winced when she heard Mark crash into a tree. She wasn't sure what appended exactly but it sounded painful. "Don't worry about it. I don't have full control either. I can control ice."she explained. She tilted her head as she heard more people arriving. "I have been assigned to room A100 in the girls dorm.they thought having the room closest to Tesoro Woukd be easiest for me but I have my doubts.too much traffic.but I guess we will see."

“You can control Ice! that's so cool,” Mark said before he smacked his head and added, “sorry, No pun intended.” He sighed. He really didn’t think before he uttered the first word that came out of his mouth so as usual he made a very terrible joke.

“I’ll take your bags to your dorm for you if you like, it’s the least I could do after scaring you twice in one day,” Mark said before a thought popped into his head and he added, “How did you get assigned your room? All I got was an acceptance letter and some card. I really didn’t read the card so I just threw it out.” Please don’t tell me my dorm room was on that card. Mark thought.

The heir of the Shadow world leapt down from the tree, and walked over. Behind her was a long shadow, and a path of black mist. She smiled and bowed. She had long silvery hair, a black amulet, and blue crystal eyes. She wore a black long dress, telling she was from the Shadow world, in which once she learned, soon would control. But she still had a lot of stuff to learn.

Katherin laughed. "That woukd e great. Walking and carrying two bags isnt easy when you need one hand free to find your way. The orphanage requested that the information be included so that I could memorize the path. They told me it was included in everyone's packets. It was probably in the card. I'm sure the office can give you the number of your room." atleastshe was sure that they would give him that information. She coukdnt think of a reason why they wouldn't.

Wait... The hell...Jerome...couldn't of... He did. Jerome just had to get lost one the first day of collage. He knows that's possible but never would expect it to happen to him for real. Being a somewhat good thinker in a panoce like situation he just simply walked back the way he came. On his way he walked looking down most of the time to avoid eye contact with any passing by student. He was far to afraid to handle the reaction to his eyes.

Jerome made it to the door and opened it leaning against it as it closed shut. Now on the outside of the door he sat against it and unconsciously waited for someone to pass by so he could ask them were to go. He didn't know but that was the plan if someone did. It was a bit bright out so Jerome remove his hoodie and looked up at the sky totally forgetting the whole purpose of the hoodie and not drawing attention to his eyes.

“I knew I should have kept that card, oh well. I’ll visit the office after I help you,” Mark said as he picked up Katherin’s bags and said, “Lead on Ms. Winter.” Mark liked helping people, even though sometimes it came off as creepy since he would drop everything to help people.

“By the way, where’s the office again. I kind of lost my map of the collage,” Mark said. Lost, more like the dog decided to us it as a chew toy. Mark thought as he sighed. Mark looked back at his own bags and added, “They should be fine there for a while.” Mark trusted everyone in the courtyard to not take his things.

"Here you can take mine. It isn't going to do me any good. I can't see it."Katherin told him handing him the map she he'd in one hand. It had been sent with the other things she had recieved. "If I remember correctly the girl's dorm is this way." She headed in the north where she thought the dorms lay.

“Oh cool, thanks,” Mark said as he took the map before he followed Katherin. He looked around as he followed her and asked, “By the way, have you seen any professors here yet? I haven’t seen a single one. You don’t think we have to teach ourselves do you because I’m not the best person to teach History or English or Math.” He cringed at the thought. God I hate math. Mark thought.

" Well isn't this cosy" She muttered to herself, while stepping into the college, her hair behind her ears, she moved her head to the left and looked left Dammit, I'm late I don't know where the rest of them are. Sheb began to look around the college looking for a authority figure to ask where she was placed. Merrii wasn't usually this late for classes, and she felt embarrassed by the way everyone kept looking at her. After failing to find anyone. Merrii walked outside and walked to the girl who was apparently burning trees.

Angel didn't even look at the new girl. She was busy making trees turn to dark with shadows and the leaves went from a light pretty green, do a dark, shadowy green.. She was the heir of the Shadow world. She was strongest of the shadows there, maybe? She wondered that, but nobody else looked like they had shadow powers.

Katherin laughed. "Nope. I haven't seen anyone." she shook her head. If he hadn't figured out that she was blind he was ether not paying attention or none too bright. She didn't mind either way. She up needed the help to get to her dorm room. "I'm not the best person to ask. I believe they're going to have announcements soon."

“Ok, guess we must have just got here early,” Mark said as he noticed the dorms up ahead and said, “Looks like you were right. The dorms are just straight ahead.” Mark looked at her and smiled only to realize what she said and why she said it. He felt a pit in his stomach. Great, I just asked a Blind girl if she’s seen someone. Way to go Mark, why not make her feel even worse why don’t you. Mark thought as he sighed.

“Sorry about that,” Mark said before he added, "Didn't mean to." he tried to come up with the words to say so he didn't sound even more like an A-hole.
