That's a big maybe, considering toonforce can range from decently power to nigh omnipotence.

I decided to swap out Claudette with a new character I had a good idea for (I literally came up with her in five minutes!).

Kiri ''Kai'' Anaru

Basic Information

Appearance:

First thing that people see about Kai is that she's huge. Like way bigger than a seventeen year old should be. Like, the first things that people question about Kai is just what they've been feeding her, or if her mother just so happened to be an Amazon. She's over six-feet tall, and has a very wide build that looks nearly disproportionate to her head. She's a little chub. From her youth, she had a bit of, shall we say, "baby fat" that she was planning on outgrowing, but just so happened to stick with her. She has a belly, and her arms and legs are quite fat. Best way to describe her body is that she has an "apple" build, though she's far from morbidly obese. It's nothing that she's proud of, but it has blessed her in the curves area. Her boobs/butt are quite large. Naturally, she has plenty of stretch marks on her body. Most people say that her weight gives her a rather distinct appearance. Which is true in more ways than her size.

Kai is Polynesian, she has bits of Samoans, Native Hawaiians, and she's very distantly Maori. Being a native of Hawaii (I mean, she lived there). Her skin has a distinct tanned color that matches people of her ethnic group. So does her distinct facial shape, rounded and quite pronounced. Kai's facial shape is very rounded, with her cheeks easily being the most pronounced part of her body. They're called the most pinchable cheeks on the planet! Especially when the girl gets angry, or starts smiling. Her eyes are thin, shall we say. They're a thin almond shape, and they're a light brown color. People have described them as oddly striking... or very beady. Up to interpretation. Her eyelashes are very thin, and her eyebrows are rather bushy. Kai's nose is very round, and upturned, the tip is pointed up ever so slightly. Medium sized, of course - but her nostrils are large. Her lips are medium-sized - but her upper lip is quite thin. Her ears are round shaped, and a little too big for her liking. She'd just hate to be called dumbo. Kai's straight hair is a black color, and is actually well groomed. Her hair is tied into a neat bun on the back of her head.

In terms of outfits, Kiri dresses quite strangely. If Mountain Climber was a style, then Kai would be rocking it! That's because she wears a heavy wintercoat, heavy working boots, gloves, and matching large pants. The kind of heavy clothing that you'd expect someone to wear in the winter. When someone gets Kiri to dress normally, then she isn't no more standout than the average person you'd see on the streets. She'll wear jeans, T-shirts, leggings, etc. She'll never lose the boots. Though, she always likes to wear a jacket (or something with pockets) so that she can walk around with hands in her pockets. I should note that, due to her size, Kai wears boxers opposed to standard panties. Kai's eyes are behind large, thin-framed, glasses.

Skills/Talents:

Kai's main claim to fame would have to be in the water area. She's a very good swimmer for her build, and people have said that if she lost weight, and trained hard enough, she could compete in the Olympics. She just has that good of a talent at swimming. The other thing that the girl excelled at is surfing. She even won a few contests. It was challenge learning how to keep her balance with her weight and size in mind - but that should be a testament of her skill. The last beach skill I should note is that Kai has played Volleyball on the beaches.

Brief Backstory:

Kai was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to a, you guessed it, a Polynesian family. A big one. She has several brothers and sisters. Both her parents worked in a five-star resort, with her mother being a mere housekeeper, and her father being a teacher. They weren't exactly poor, but they struggled to make ends meat sometimes. Sometimes they had to go without some luxuries for awhile (Cable being one of them). However, the family stayed happy. Kai herself was very invested in the beach - their family didn't live too far away from one. Her father taught her how to swim, how to surf, and her siblings taught Kai how to play volleyball (She wrecked those tourists!). Swimming became one of Kai's passions. So much that the girl would challenge herself by swimming far out into the beaches, or swimming at night. It was a foolish thing to do, but Kai loved the challenge. However, one night, she decided to be a little... "adventurous" and swam out at night. She went out a little too deep, and the waves started carrying her away.

Kai immediately panicked, and this was enough to awaken something deep inside of her: superpowers. She immediately transformed into her element, and freeze enough of the water to climb back to shore. She transformed back, and immediately freaked out. Over the course of the next few days, she eventually figured out her power, and learned how to control it on her own. Starting by learning how to control her transformations. Kai kept this to herself, and practiced in secrecy, afraid of what her family would think if they find out that she's a Metahuman. She managed to keep this facade up well... until she realized that she was getting stronger. Rooms were being cooled by her mere presence, and one incident turned a pool cold as arctic waters. This put the Hawaii branch of NEST on her case - due to the low amount of Metahuman related crimes in the state. Kai had no idea, she just went on without a clue. However, one day on the beach Kai got into an argument with a racist tourist, and it, much to her irritation, escalated into fists. Kai got her ass kicked. It accidentally caused her to lose control of her powers, accidentally froze the girl's hand. Everyone started freaking out, and NEST got involved. Wracked with guilt, Kai admitted to keeping her power a secret. When, if she was more clever, she could have stated that her power just developed.

Now presented an interesting situation. Kai could be arrested for what she did - of course, they enrolled her in the growing ThinkerRock program (When there are far cooler Academies for her to go to). She never been to mainland America, even though she heard so much about this. Despite being arrested, she looked at this situation with a smile. Now she can meet people like herself, and learn about her power.

Ice-Mimicry.

When Kai manifested her ability, it came in the form of cyromancery. Except, Kai has the ability to selectively, or fully, transform her body into solid ice. In this form, her body will be anatomically the same as her human form. Except her flesh and bones will be made out of ice - her organs will still be visible through the ice. The advantages of this form come in many ways. For starters, Kai's body is extremely cold, she's sub-zero (Which means that she'll be invisible to all forms of heat detection). Turning into ice comes with a passive temperature manipulation ability that gradually cools the area around her. Second she changes, people will get the chills. While this ability is automatic, Kai can also adjust the rate an area cools. At the cost of expending energy, she can make a room absolutely frigid in a short amount of time. In terms of physical buffs, Kai will be extra durable (Try punching a glacier!), will not feel pain regardless of what attack she receives, and those dealing with biological abilities will find that she's a harder target. Her strength has also been increased to levels where she can lift quite a lot more. Kai can potentially lift up and throw a piano. Pack a lot much force behind her punches. She calls it... Glacier Strength. Heh. She won't be able to compete with a Metahuman dedicated to strength, however.

Time to move onto the more Cyrokinetic aspects of Kai's ability - the main abilities. Now, she isn't a dedicated cyrokinetic, but she has abilities from ice manipulation. First and foremost, Kai can generate ice. She can grow ice off her body in any shape that she can think of. Spikes, hammers, maces! This also extends to shaping her own body in the same way. She can turn her hand into a mace. However, by mixing both abilities together she can potentially create a large mace, or extend her limbs (Though, it's far from elasticity). This also comes with the ability to freeze objects on touch. She can snapfreeze just about anything on touch, and turn a puddle of water into a thin layer of ice. She can't really manipulate it beyond that. A ranged ability that Kai has is what she calls an "ice beam". This is a glowing beam that will freeze anything in it's path. Which will turn anyone stupid enough to stay in the way into a Human-shaped Popsicle (A cannibal's favorite)! Of course, it doesn't have to be a beam. She can shoot it out in orbs, snowflakes, shotgun blasts, etc. The last ability that Kai has is Cyrokinetic regeneration. She's not invincible - but her ability to grow ice can be used to repair damage done in her Ice form (And her ice form alone). She can quickly repair a cracked body, or even regrow a limb.

Several of these abilities also transfer to her human form (Or don't even require that she's ice). For starters, Kai is very, very, very, cold. Like, if you lick her, your god damn tongue is going to stick. She also produces that chilling aura when in human form (Not as quick or extreme, but it can make a room unbearable for other people should she stay in it long enough). Which is contained by the heavy winter clothing she wears. Kai, while in human form, can freeze objects, create ice, drop the area's temperature, and create ice-beams. Basically, she can do everything that doesn't involve turning into ice.

There's also one aspect to her power that's so "no-shit" that it's not even worth noting.

Limits:

The amount of ice Kai can create is limited by her stamina and the moisture of the area. Dryer areas make it much harder for her to produce her ice. Kai's regenerative abilities don't exactly extend to her human form. Now, if you let me explain, the girl can only really regenerate the wounds that she gets in Ice-form. If she's injured while human, then turns into ice, then she can't regenerate that since it'll be her "default". And if she does transform back while damaged, the wound will transfer to her human form. And she won't be able to switch and regenerate it. So, if she turns human while missing an arm, she'll need to visit the arm store.

Weaknesses/Drawbacks:

Heat is the primary counter to Kai's ability. It interferes with her abilities, and weakens her. Getting hit with a burst of flames can cancel every current usage of Kai's ability. It's her kryptonite, shall we say. Though, it's going to take a really hot flame to melt Kai into a puddle (You can pour lava on a block of ice, and it doesn't immediately vanish!). The other weakness is, pun totally intended, that Kai is the Mighty Glacier. She has a lot of defensive abilities, and strength, but she's really lacking in speed, and agility. She won't be able to really dodge attacks - more of block them. Nor will be she able to pursue an opponent as her top speed is someone's jog. Kai isn't invulnerable in her ice form, and obviously, strong attacks can break her. While she can repair the damage, her organs are still a viable weakspot. She can't regenerate her organs, and damaging them is a great way to murder Kai.

Appearance:
Rosie definetely has a Welsh/Gaelic background to her. She has almost perfect pale skin, black hair that she keeps short in what she considers a Pixie cut. She has a child like, pixy face, eyes that are a little slanted and a brilliant green. Her lips are full, and typically curved in a smile. Across her cheek, arms and chest she has a splattering of freckles, almost adorably so.

She stands at exactly five foot two, and is quite thin, tiny almost. Her body just seems small, which is misleading as she is quite strong, quite agile and has quite a good stamina.

Typically she wears dresses that shows off her body, or pants and a shirt, and boots. Or sandals. One her pinkie finger, on her right hand, she wears a silver patterned ring.

Skills/Talents:
Rosie has a good singing voice, able to match a tune quite well and quickly. She is also good at identify herbs, plants and using them for medicines. She's learning to play magical instruments, and she is a passable cook.

Brief Backstory:
Born to a hard done by family, and the youngest of seven, Rosie nevertheless didn't know that they didn't have much money. She had a fantastic childhood, and loved every moment of it with her siblings, her parents. They lived and worked together on a farm, and this was were Rosie had the time of her life, always. As her powers manifested, just before her second birthday, she was an asset to her family,, people able to nurture and grow plants enabled their farm to grow. Fearful that she would be known for what she was, her family kept her hidden from society, her parents homeschooling her, never really thinking she was missing out on anything.

So it was that when a fire spread through their farm, Rosie found herself orphaned, and her brothers and her were homeless. She didn't know what she did was wrong, as she formed them shelter, a house almost, out of earth, and plants, attracting the attention of the town around them.

THis attracted the attention of NEST, and Rosie was whisked away, torn from her family, and trapped. This led her to Camp Thinker Rock

Power Information

Power:
Supersystem/Elemental: Energy
rosie's powers primarily exist in the earth, using energy to manipulate earth, to encourage it to cry and to use it in a way that she typically wishes to shape it. Because fo the way her powers are, she can also provide minor healing, encouraging nature to fasten.

Her abilities typically consist of creating and increasing earthen materials. This includes encouraging natural deposits of elements to grow (e.g gold, silver), although she rarely uses this, as she feels that it is cheating. To be able to do this though, there needs to be a deposits of the element, even a speck, for her to grow it from. She can shape, compress and manipulate earth how she wishes, effecting its shape, density, hardness and sharpness, as well as repairing the earth itself from damage. This is possible, only based on how damaged the earth is-she can't repair earth that has been completely destroyed like a great big gapping hole, but cracks and similar things she can heal.

She can always create tunnels within the earth, cause earthquakes, mudslides and quicksand to form, all this is limited to her ability to use energy to do this-the more powerful the attack, the harder it is to do, and she can't use it all the time. Again, this needs energy. She can't flatten a building with an earthquake, or create rivers out of mudslides, it's merely an area of effect around her, anywhere between five and ten meters

For now, this is all that she knows she can do. She's unsure how she can do what she can do, but she does know it belongs in energy, as to make anything move, energy is required. Anything that grows needs energy, and for Rosie, using her abilities that energy comes from her. Everything needs balance-while she can bring a plant back from the dead, doing so with a tree is beyond her.

Typically though her abilities focus on the earth itself-dirt and plants essentially.

Limits:
It's limited to the amount of energy she has at a time, as well as her own strength, her own will and her own mind. She can't simply continue to use her abilities all the time, nor can she use them in quick succession.

If she goes beyond beyond her limits, this can seriously effect her, damaging her body and her health as well as risking the potential for death. This is a fine balance for Roise, as she doesn't really know her limits.

weaknesses and draw breaks:
Perhaps Rosie's biggest weakness with her abilities is lightening. Lightening attacks effect her greatly, and actually weaken her. She is also sensitive to the elements-heat and cold typically affect her in a way that may even interfere with her life itself, making her sluggish or just plain cranky.

She doesn't know why lightening/electricity effects her abilities-perhaps it's simple the fact that there's moisture in earth. Her abilities are also susceptible to water, which tends to weaken the strengthen she is able to put in, as it takes more to hold her creations together.

She also can't lift more then is humanly possible. For example, she can't lift a mountain, but can, with some difficulty, lift a boulder. This also effects how much she can actually do-she is bound by the laws of physics. She can't simply just grab something solid and break it into pieces, but rather she has to go through the process of breaking it down, into dirt itself.

Ben's and earthbender, Allen's NPC's an earthbender, and now we have Rosie the eath bender. Erryone's and earth bender.

We would like you to tell us what the scale is of which she can create mud slides, rock slides, and earthquakes. I'd also perosnally like an explaination for the weakness section. There's nothing wrong with it, but from my experience (and many years of being a pokemon master) most of the time earth abilities do the opposite and disappate lightning or electrical based attacks.

@Caits The sheet is overall fine. But I have to make a few observations about the power. There's a little bit of vagueness about the ability, because Earth can mean dirt, stone, or artificial stone like concrete. I kinda want to know what exactly she can control. Also, I'd like some more solidly defined limits, because I don't quite understand the limits you listed. In theory, your character can split the world in half. lol

Like, what is her range? How much dirt? Etc, etc. I also want some solid limits for her ability to grow materials. Since, she can probably something like uranium and make a dirty bomb. Personally, growing metals like iron/gold/platinum wouldn't be too bad since, in their raw form, they're virtually useless.

I do think that an interesting aspect to her ability.

Oh yeah, I don't know how her ability is really Energy. It's definitely an elemental ability.

I'm in the middle of making a character who can change into a cheetah and has feline abilities. However other powers and characters are coming to mind and I just don't know what to do. Sooooo it'll be awhile before I have a sheet up. I know you're just dying to see a well thought out detailed sheet like you usually like, Allen. ;D
