@Jangel13 Try reading what Ben did for her and relate to that. You have to step into her own shoes and become empathetic for her. Experience her own pain first hand and feel it inside of yourself.

Be careful if you're going to hug her. Make sure you get her to drop her shield and allow you to get closer to her otherwise I don't need to tell you what will happen.

@Jangel13 Someone who wants to actually get closer to her and understand who she is rather than say "everything is going to be all right just trust nisan here". She hates it when people talk like that, because her life never gets better where she gets even more pessimistic about it. You can always try a different approach. You cannot handle an existential nihilist the way you're doing it. Existential nihilists have lost their belief that life has any meaning and are known to be suicidal and some even sadistic. If you do it that way it will make them hate Angelo even more, because he's trying to force his way onto them. They have strong mental problems so you have to be very delicate on how to handle them.

Edit: She is also a misandry on top of that.

Well I'll have to try a different approach. Forgive me if something happens wrong or if I offend her again but I have never dealt with someone....this depressing to be around

Do keep in mind that you don't want to repeat the same insanity you tried with her so hopefully this something different might give her a different view of you. Remember, it's actions, emotions and words that can change her character. Just keep in mind that you don't want to come on too strong.

I think I'd rather not have her meet Ignia yet. Ignia is really creepy and it's hard to tell how she would react unless the two met.

That's all you can do. I know, Ethel is probably easier to deal with than Tsukiko. Yeah, that's his biggest problem and why he has so much of a problem with reading how girls work.

Congratulations, you managed to get closer to Tsukiko and become at least an acquaintance of hers but that is far from friendship. I'm very impressed that Angelo actually managed to reason with her despite her being so negative and repulsive. That is an accomplishment and I didn't think Angelo had the audacity to actually try to see things from her point of view and be empathetic but I guess I was wrong.

@Jangel13 It's not often Tsukiko actually does invite someone to walk with her. To be honest, it never has happened and the only reason she had Hayato sit near her is she wanted to gauge Hayato and her brother's relationship. He'd be a fool to turn it down, but he doesn't have to accept he doesn't want to. It may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to get closer to her and improve his status with her. Most boys would kill to get an offer like that, because one she doesn't like boys and two she doesn't like walking with people she doesn't know though she does make exceptions based on the conditions they made with her.

So what is he going to do? Accept her invitation or decline it?
