Stepney nearly choked on his own saliva, the brutality of the words Amaya chose were not exactly what he had been expecting considering her behavior on the trip here. Though to the rocker's credit he didn't seem so put out as Amaya might have hoped, reluctantly Stepney took his attention of the failed seduction before him and turned it back towards the discussion of travel. He calmly listened, not really minding one way or the other in what way they traveled. Though maybe they should have actually worked out an actual order for who decides what way the group travels, a rather perky tune cleared the haze of through as the musician made his way ahead.

"Well we better make a decision soon, before he decides for us and I'm pretty sure it’s not his turn to pick" he gestured for one of them to lead the way "you could always flip for it"

Griffin shrugged. If they wanted to take the slow way. He didnt care. He thought it was a waste of time. He doubted that they would find out much. "Fine. We'll walk. Let's get going. We have alot of distance to cover. We are wasting time." He saw no signs here. Now makings. Nothing damaged. It wasn't likely the creature had been here. The would need to move on if the wanted to find the beast.

Charles would look back at them he would chuckle some at a few of the comments he heard. "Reason why I say walk is because we can all be ready to fight if something happens, and not be possibly being dropped into the middle of a fight" he says before looking forward again. Already now walking into the tree-line as he was already moving, not really minding if they decide to follow or go their own way. He just knew he wasn't to keen on relying on another's ability to move around in a dangerous situation.

Stepeny could tell that how they traveled was going to be a point of debate no matter what method they took. He couldn't help but chuckle they sounded a bit like an old married couple, he probably should have been paying more attention to his surroundings but their little argument added some life to what would have been a dull stroll.

"It’s going to be fine Griff, what would happen if the monster's not as inland as you think?" He was more just fueling the fire of the argument then actually getting involved.

"The shadow realm isn't that different from the real world. We would have seen signs long before we saw the creature." If they knew what they were looking for. But he didn't point that out. It didn't matter. They had several miles to cover before they reached where the creature was. That could take all day if not longer.

"If you all keep waiting, the monster's gonna find US first." Gene said, getting a tad annoyed. "I vote we walk. I also vote you all follow me, as I'm the only one that seems to be ready to lead you guildies..." He said, the word guildies sounding almost..derogatorily, with how it slides off his tongue. He begins to vanish into the woods, him not stopping for the others, heading inland, with, or without them.
".....Hmph.....If it wasn't for the cute one, I'd just leave them all in the dust......but she is cute...so I'll stomach her friends for longer." Gene thinks. " Worst comes to worst, I could try..nah....I need to stop thinking bout that. It's not cool..."

Gene shakes his head, grumbling as he walked.

Charles was already out of sight heading towards the center of the island, since has was already walking when they was just talking. He would hum to himself as he made his way to the location not really having a care in the world if one would to look at him. He would get bored after a few minutes and summon a panther which he climbed onto and begun to ride through the forest instead of simply walking.

Griffin walked with the others. He had no idea how big the island was but they walked a good two hours before he noticed anything out of the ordinary. He didnt say anything. But he noticed a trail of slime. It wasnt on the path they were using though. He saw it through the shadows. It was close enough that he figured they were going the right direction. About ten minutes after he saw the trail he heard a strange sound. It sounded like a train and baby cry mixed together.

Stepney was quit happy being off in his own little world of wonderment, thoughts of steam and metal bending into many shapes and contraptions. The trail was easy enough to follow, their guide looked to know what he was doing and gave Stepney no reason to think he was being lead astray.

Suddenly the sound of a train in his mind was perhaps a little too real, and a whole lot more twisted then he had once thought. Now alert to his surroundings he looked around wildly hoping to catch a glance at whatever was making that horrendous noise.
