I don't see this version of Japan to be highly militaristic and expantionist. They just want to sit on their island, make new stuff and gain a monopoly on the world's entertainment industry from movies to anime to porn.

The Great Han are the main south pacific power, but right now that position is being contested by the Malagasy and the two nations have fought numerous times.

Using Hawaii and the (now far warmer) Aleutians as bases Cascadia is also a growing power coming from the other side of the pond.

Well, you'd need something like the internet for that to be plausible.
Early development of internet might be an interesting addition to the setting but I feel it might change too much.
Granted personal computers exist in many countries so perhaps you can adopt that between allied states.

On a different note, I introduce a new prototype artillery:

ML-K44 Nimród

It's basically a lightweight walker artillery. Even with the new completely rebuilt Tas there's an issue with transportability and lack of mobility. Nimród solves this an unique way. Basically it walks on four articulated spider-like legs which allows it to climb difficult terrain. Just like their new tank destroyers the Nimród also have no gun traverse whatsoever. Instead it relies on the legs to position the gun along with the rest of the hull. This simplifies things and also allows to run the gun through the entire length of the vehicle and simplifies the autoloader, allowing it to fire with yet unparalleled rate of fire. It's an all electric design using a diesel fuel cell instead of typical combustion engines which is also a plus. On the other hand all these inventions do make the Nimród quite expensive.

About? What sort of pact? In my history, Jodesia is s a sub-power with limited history at this point.

Feeling the push of the then rich and highly developed Jodesia.

At this point, I've not accounted for Joedia being either hugely rich or particularly well-developed. From my perspective, Jodesia's involvement in a Great War is opportunistic or duty-bound.

NAU would support both Jodesia and Franco-Iberia and make a good dollar out of it.

Definitely encourage this line of thought.

Given the fact the main point of contention is the treatment of abhumans

My recent iteration of Jodedia pretty much doesn't factor abhumans in; but there's definitely wiggle-room for allowing their participation of scapegoats in a forthcoming Jodesian holocaust scenario

Eventually Jodesia capitulates and loses a sizable portion of its territories to Franco-Iberia.

I've been pitching Jodesia as a newly-formed International nation whose colonies are new: while there's wiggle-room for Hungary/Franco-Iberia to encroach Westwards or Northwards respectively, I'd like to work out the actual territory changes and such. It might be neater for Jodesia to have its single (profitable) African colony to be removed from it, under the mutual stewardship of Franco-Iberia and the Hungarian League.

Meanwhile the Hungarian League takes the remaining East European nations

While I've not accounted for that, that's absolutely workable from my perspective.
