@Sophrus@Blackbeard@Hank Glad to have you all on board, friends (or potentially on board, in Blackbeard's case). I'm looking forward to seeing what you all come up with. As for the Perpetuals poll, it seems like the overall consensus so far is "they're fine for the setting, but we shouldn't let any PCs be a Perpetual", which is a reasonable enough solution in my mind.

To the people whom haven't yet posted characters. Can I get a quick 3-4 words that generally give me the just of your Primarchs? Just to avoid potential overlap.

So far I have Vellian Barbas, Primarch to the Doom Guard (Subject to change) he grew up on a swampy death-world.

Doom guard - Shock assault tactics, Blitzkrieg, quick precise strikes more often than not at opponents blind spots.

Just to avoid overlap I'm currently designing the Xth legion, focused on lightning war and fast attack style tactics.

As far as overlap, I don't really see too much a problem with it. Even in canon there were often parallels between Legions (usually between Traitor and Loyalists) in both style and tactics, so having overlap may provide some interesting interactions between Legions.

Oh, right, combat tactics. The Void Stalkers (XXth Legion) are highly competent in void warfare and are often responsible for engaging the enemy in outer space (in the form of space battles and boarding actions), dropping down onto the surface of the target world once void superiority is established. They are relentless and inexorable, and a favored tactic is to abduct enemy commanders so that Gorseval may break their mind personally to obtain crucial information.

I would expect some minor overlap to happen.

Which is why I do not feel bad that I'm using the feudal world idea even though it's been used before, but mine will be unique! Lol

Accepted:
I - Bloody Host, flexible, adaptable legion with an extremely grim Primarch.
IV - Desert Sons, sneaky sand loving bastards with a sneaky bastard Primarch.
V - Blazing Sisters, Relentless attackers who hit the weak point forever with a loyal Primarch.
IX - Iron Templars, traditional warfare with motorbike cavalry and a chivalrous Primarch.
