I find the best way to get through writer's block is just that— push through it. If I allow myself to wait for inspiration to strike I run the risk of losing interest entirely. Usually, if I start writing, even if the beginning of what I'm writing is uninspired crap, the writing flows more easily as I go along until I'm back in my grove.
