Critical Role? More like Crunchical Hole, haha. But yes, it's pretty uh... well, the Mercer Effect exists for the same reason people think porn is an accurate depiction of sex.

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

@Lugubrious I have posted as often as I can IC, of course. I shall post ASAP now I have the opportunity, too.
Alessa Heather: PRT Headquarters

So, in fairness, it wasn't usual for Alessa to freak out the way she was. However, keeping in mind the fact that she wasn't allowed to use her powers, and consciously reminding herself of that fact over and over again, was rather distracting her logical brain from the important business of not being terrified of the giant wolfman. This left her lizard brain in control, which was probably why, when informed that they weren't allowed to run away, her Krav Maga training kicked in, and immediately decided upon the least lethal move in the arsenal, reflexively side-kicking Protean in the snout quite firmly.

'...sorry!' she uttered, hands over her mouth, horrified once she realised what she'd done. Fortunately, she'd retained enough sense not to break anything, but she figured most people- wolf-hybrids- shapeshifting... most beings with snouts would have bruises after that. Whether shapeshifting helped mitigate that was a good question, but still, that had to have hurt. To his credit, he kind of just shrugged it off, and went on, as she and Ira continued running, to harass the teammates who were further ahead, before moving to the center of the room and turning into was he kidding right now? Nope, clearly not.

Okay, three riddles, the first one was fairly-

'Queue! Queue is the answer to the first riddle.'

Okay, the easy one was gone. Alessa cursed herself for never being great at them. Well, she wasn't sure about the second one, maybe she'd get back to that. So, if two coins made thirty cents, one of them wasn't a nickel... but you needed a nickel to make that amount, didn't you? No twenty cent coins existed at the moment...

'Hah! Achieved all on my lonesome. Google, where is thy sting? The answer is a stamp!'

Alright, well, that was kind of scary, wasn't it? She didn't want to dump Ira into a fight against Protean, but she also didn't want to fight Protean herself... well, maybe she should, actually, since she needed the experience, didn't she? But then so did Ira, and she was perhaps the weak link in their quin- oh, right, in their quartet... oh, wait a moment!

'The coin that's not a nickel is a quarter, and the other coin is the nickel!' she yelled, actually rather pleased with herself for that flash of inspiration. In a hushed tone, she then regretfully whispered 'Sorry, Ira,' to her partner, torn between accelerating ahead to avoid the inevitable lambasting or staying around to actually talk to her. She did not envy the person who had to fight Protean at any point, and least of all the non-fighter of the group.
@Raddum Stand cries aren't even a necessity within the series. Actually, not many Stands actually have their own vocalisations, come to think of it...

@Not So 0riginal Again, if all hope is lost, just PM me, and I can shoot you the deets.
@Not So 0riginal If he changes his mind about running a JJBA game after all, I do happen to have my own idea for one. Contact me if all hope is lost as far as Raze not being dead goes.
Of course, the Skayleigh hadn't given Sett his name when asked, so he'd still be "my friend the Skayleigh", no matter how much of a friend he really was. That said, Geredin the Dwarf did a much better job of doing things, charging ahead of the two, forcing Sett to follow at running pace, and even barging his way through much thick undergrowth behind whatever trail Mags had forged. Simple enough for even an overlarge Half-Giant to pass through, let alone a thin and much more agile human priest. He assumed he was more agile anyway, for Giants are rarely agile. He believed. They were Giants, after all.

Though honestly, he'd rather have stayed where Mags was. The village they'd found their way to was not exactly a sight for sore eyes, regardless of how many team members existed within its bound right now, and the imminent appearance of... Rogs, was it? Well, that just reeked of pain for the priest. He wasn't exactly a lover, but he was certainly no fighter at that. And whilst he'd rather avoid drawing his weapons, he knew practically when he came here that he'd have to give it a shot at some point in the future... besides, it wasn't like he could hide in any of those burnt-out ruins, so try to defend himself it was. And besides, it'd be combat practice for the Dark Elves when they finally got round to that.

With his offhand, he pulled his combat dagger, clean of rust and not easily damaged by time. And with his mainhand he drew forth his primary weapon, that item which had gotten him into this situation in the first place: the valdium shortsword, a weapon of great offensive power against magical beasts. Were Rogs counted as magical beasts? He didn't have a clue, but it'd certainly kill them as stone dead as any civilised being either way. Even as he drew his weapons, he could hear the creatures coming closer, and even some fighting going on, and readied himself for whatever might happen, keeping his weapons in what he figured was probably a good offensive stance, sword frontward and dagger back ready to fly forward at a moment's notice. Yeah, that would probably do the job just nicely, if he found himself assaulted by Rogs.

idk lmao

silver chariot would be coolio

I prefer Atom Heart Father. "I don't do anything special... I'm just invincible. Oh wait I also possess the last photograph I was in lololol"
@Not So 0riginal Okay, well, don't vanish, and all is well. Since you're here, what Stand would you take from the series go.
@Raddum I'm glad I helped. Bear in mind, I'm always down for a JoJo RP... it's just that I would rather it does go on for a while, rather than just collapsing to nothing in less than a week.
I like JoJo. I was not entirely convinced that Raze would do a good job with one, having coincidentally observed how rapidly his last Bleach RP ended, and considering that OP has been dead for three days. However, lots of people are interested, so maybe the thread won't die that quickly after all, in which case colour me intrigued.
It occurs to me that I can't really post as Settionne until @Fetzen posts as An-Hasst. This is important for him anyway, since he only has one day left before he runs out of time to post.
