@Cherrywitch Yoki grinned at the antics of the imp. Plus she was glad to have gained some knowledge of things she had never heard of. "Then we shall get this creamy ice!" Yoki declared, reaching into her cloak to pull out a few small silver orbs, and a rather large pearl. "Will this amount be enough to get us some?" Yoki asked Kric, biting her bottom lip worriedly. She wasn't sure if this place would take her payment, since it was so different than her own world. What she held in her hand would surely buy her at least 5 human huts filled with cream, if she had wanted that when she was alive. However, this ice cream seemed very spectacular, if Kric's reaction was anything for the wolf girl to go by.

The Demon Lord

Upon reaching her new room for the year, Aniel unlocked the door with her key marked #074, and stepped inside. It seemed like it was quite a nice size, and Aniel was happy to see some clothing provided for her. Her small duffel bag rested upon what she guessed was her bed, next to a letter she quickly read. Aniel then turned to her only other belonging, a large case filled with books. Some were spell books, some were ancient tomes written in dead languages, and a few were novels she had picked up since her arrival in this realm. She unpacked all of these books on the bookcase provided and placed her hands on her hips, satisfied. Grinning, she flung herself atop the soft comforter of the bed and sighed happily.
"If only brother could be here to enjoy this place as well!" Aniel mused aloud, staring at the ceiling. Idly waving her fingers above her face, she created patterns in the air, practicing a few spells she knew. Swirling lights appeared in the wake of her fingers, different spell seals glowing in the air before Aniel wiped them all away with her open palm. After a few minutes of silence, Aniel huffed and sat up, frowning as she glanced at the other side of the room. She wondered if she were to be receiving a roommate, and hoped if she was that they were pleasant to be around.

@Cherrywitch Yoki cocked her head to the side, staring intensely at the imp. In a very serious voice she asked, "What is ice cream?" Perhaps it was something the dead dined on? In fact, what did the dead eat? Yoki wondered silently if she would have to change her diet from human sacrifices to something completely different, which upset her quite a bit. She loved human sacrifices! "Ice is something I can make, it is a form of water. But cream...that is something that comes from the human's livestock, correct? Why would you eat ice?"

Aniel nodded politely at the older student and headed in the direction she was told to go. She didn't mind the instruction, as she really was not certain where she was supposed to be going. She did know all of her things should have been placed in whichever room was to be hers for the remainder of the year. It was very nice of the school to do this for them, Aniel thought to herself. Almost absentmindedly she was using her small orange wings to hover a few inches above the ground and glide down the hallway, often times she did this without even realizing she was using them. The young white haired demon mentally crossed her fingers, hoping that this would be a good year for her.

@LChris314@Cherrywitch The abrupt arrival of a strange looking creature caused Yoki to bare her teeth and snarl, slightly startled. Once she realized she was not being attacked, she calmed herself and blinked owlishly at the new arrival using the tabletop as a chair. "I am a deity." Yoki simply stated, then grinned in a manner resembling a blood thirsty beast, "Would you like to pledge yourself to me?" In all her 3,000+ years of life, most of Yoki's worshippers were human, but there were a few lesser deities who had pledged themselves to Yoki and worked in her name. As she lost followers and power, they gave their own life force to sustain her dwindling one. She would not have lived past 3,112 years if it were not for those few sacrifices. "And what are you?" Yoki asked curiously, since she had not seen anything quite like this being before.

@medalliah@Antioch "Well, we are in the afterlife. No where to go but here for us, it seems. Why be scared of something that can not kill you?" Yoki shrugged her shoulders, this was a pointless venture. She wouldn't be able to eat this human, and it seemed unlikely the human was gong to pledge herself to Yoki. The deity turned her gaze back to the tavern. "I suppose I'd rather be inside this place than outside in nothingness." The wolf-girl walked back towards the entrance, cloak rippling by her swift movements. Once inside, she returned to the table she had been seated at before, silently hoping she would be able to still eat some sort of flesh and raw meat in the afterlife. Resting her chin on her hand propped upon the table, Yoki let her eyes dance across the room.
