I don't know all the variables but I think it describes what happens if something moves faster than the speed of light. Do I have that right?

According to Newtonian mechanics, the momentum of a particle is equal to its mass multiplied by its velocity. Momentum is also a conserved quantity, which is true in all reference frames related by Galilean velocity transformations. However, the Galilean transformations are inconsistent with relativity. Say you're moving at 0.9c with respect to Earth, and then you shoot out an object that moves at 0.95c with respect to you; you'd expect the velocity of the object to be 1.85c with respect to the Earth, which is impossible because c, the speed of light in a vacuum, is the speed limit in all reference frames. But because you can't just throw the conservation of momentum out the window, however, you have to account for why it still works at significant fractions of c. It's an alright approximation when velocity "u" is small, but when you get big it starts going wonky. Instead, you'll have to use the "true time" measured by the particle itself.

You'll have to use the Lorentz transformations (except using the velocity of the particle rather than the reference frame) to get relativistic momentum.
For a Newtonian particle, with p = mu, the momentum is directly proportional to the velocity. The relativistic expression for momentum agrees with the Newtonian value if u ≪ c, but p approaches ∞ as u -> c.
@GarlandDaHero Would you want to start Suzune already in the drama club?
@SMS That's approved.

NPC: Iemasa Igarashi - Faculty Office, Saturday Morning

"Nice to meetcha, Izumo-kun," said the youthful teacher warmly, smile brightening upon confirmation that she was indeed the transfer mentioned in yesterday's staff meeting. He was right on the money there. That was pretty awesome. "Welcome to Uchima! Hope you can enjoy it here."

Even if Etsu wouldn't be in any of the classes he took, it was still good to get to know the students around campus. He didn't know for sure if the administrative staff would allocate her to one of his cohorts, but she wasn't going to be in his homeroom. The meeting had mentioned she was a third-year, after all. Hopefully that wouldn't be too much of an obstacle for her to settle in, but if it was, he'd definitely try and help out. She was already looking a bit shy and awkward already, with the reddening face, so he wanted to make sure it didn't affect her too much.

"You got most of the admin and paperwork sorted, right?" he asked warmly, relishing the last word on the tip of his tongue. "No problems there?"

I gave it some thought, and I think Temperance would be interesting to play. I'll see if I can whip up a character sheet by tomorrow.

Good to hear. I'll be waiting.
Hello. Do you guys still have room for one more player perhaps?

High Priestess and Temperance are open. Justice might be, given that the player who reserved it hasn't appeared in a while.

NPC: Hayate Sasaki - Uchima Senior High School Gates, Saturday Morning

"Whatever you say, kid," responded the older boy with a shrug, before shoving his hands back into his pockets once more. "And what, can't I just say hi?"

If Sasaki had noticed the sudden sweetness in Kimiko's tone, there was no sign that he felt that it was important enough to care about. Instead, he was merely watching his duo of fellow students in a relaxed and casual manner, hazel orbs darting from one to the other. However, a thought seemed to come to his mind, and a somewhat ponderous (and slightly irritated) expression found its way to his face.

"Though, guess the Drama Club's tryin' to grab some dudes," he mused in his beautifully powerful voice, hands leaving his pockets so that he could cross his arms. "They still got trouble with the performance. Want inspiration or whatever. Yamamoto's been bustin' my balls real hard today to help out, so you wanna tag along?"
@Crimmy Oh absolutely. It would practically be his duty to abandon his responsibilities at that point, much to the vice president's chagrin.

Well, he'll certainly be having fun.
@Crimmy Well, he should spend the day getting paperwork for the club done, but it would be quite easy to tear him away from it.

Say, if a teacher asked him to help out with something, or if something exciting happened?
