Current No point posting your writing online if you don't care about praise.

Is the rioting and BLM brought up yet?

Honestly, I don't get the grief given to SAO when there's stuff like Mushoku Tensei where the MC actively lusts for underaged girls. And it's the most popular isekai in Japan.

Also, it's kinda annoying going back and forth writing short replies since I got other stuff to do and that just interrupts my rythm.

You can just edit in Asa's response to Freyja's question.
Freyja Leden

"Wonderful. Then, let us depart right away," Frejya said, smiling to Jonathan after hearing his response.

The way to the assessment ground wasn't that far away, but it might be a little difficult to find since the institute's grounds were huge and you might be not sure which part of the grounds you were supposed to go to.

When she arrived at the scene, she saw that there were already a couple of students there, including her pupil Ryuuto. She saw how he was eagerly conversing with some of the other students, so she decided she would leave him alone for now. She also found that Asa was already there, and she seemed to be angry with something. The matter seemed to have been settled though so she didn't have to worry about that.

Metel sighed in relief. Finally, she thought. She had been waiting long enough.

She then took the form the man handed over and immediately read its content. Some information about the stages of the test, a place to enter your name and occupation, reason why you enter, and... in 2 million words explain why you want to be the hero of Jaded Wilds?

What's this? Everything is normal except for the last question.

She quickly returned to the man handing out the forms and said, "Excuse me, but it seems there's been a mistake. There's no way we're being told to write a 2 million words essay. We'll be here for a month writing it." She tried to be as polite as possible but there was definitely a streak of annoyance written on her face.

I imagine Freyja will be interested in seeing Ryousei and Clarabelle's abilities, since they're going to her class after all.

She gotta learn about weaponsmithing and dollmaking first though

@tipssyCalibrator
It's alright. Just have her stop their fight before they kill each other.

Oh god, are you flirting with Ako?
I think I'm not a fan of fourth-wall breaker as well.

"Thank you Jonathan." Freyja smiled at his compliment. "It's nothing special though. An Architect has to understand the objects she created throughoutly after all. And you have mastered creating the standard version of your object, you can expand and evolve your power by finding out new ways to create said object. I create bombs so I study the various chemical reactions that can be used to make a bomb. I find the concept easier to understand when I try making it myself instead of just reading it off a book."

"So yes, please do not touch any of the equipment there. They're really quite volatile."

She then bend down a little to look at Jonathan's broken nose, her face hovering right in front of his face. "Hmm, doesn't seem like it's anything that serious. I believe you can participate in the assesment test just fine."

She then took out the cooling bandage from her pocket and put it on the wounded nose. "There, the wound should sting less now." Straightening herself once more, she then took out the anti-inflammatory pills and handed it over to the young man. "Take these three times a day and you should be fine. Make sure to contact me or Asa if you still feel sick afterwards though."

She glanced at the clock on the wall. 8:45. She should get going to the assesment test as well as she would be supervising the students there.

"How about I escort you to the testing grounds? Unless, that is, if you have something else to do first before going there," she offered to the boy.

Freyja Leden

After the opening ceremony was over, Freyja returned back to her office. The institute was generous enough to grant her a large office, so she could store her research equipment there. If a student were to enter, they would see a normal office at the front only to be amazed at all the chemistry lab equipment in the back. There was also a bed available if a student wanted to rest. It actually doubled as her bed too as often she would sleep in her office instead of her provided room. She was just the assistant nurse however so there was only one bed. It was still more of an office than an infirmary.

When she arrived, she immediately took out the necessary medicines for Jonathan, mainly some anti-inflammatory and a cooling bandage. She then heard a knock on the door. She surmised it must be him.

Opening the door, she greeted him with "Ah, here you are. Please, come on in." She gestured at him to sit on the bed.

Victoria Luxemberg

She didn't know whether it was her threatening smile that did it, but the rude lady did end up being provoked to attack them. She caught the strange phase she uttered before she was suddenly thrown onto the alley wall by some strong force that suddenly came out from the lady's direction. A spell, she thought. This just confirmed that this world was really a fantasy world.

The lady then taunted them, egging them on to attack her. Well, she would happily comply with her wishes if not for her desire not to make a ruckus. The bandaged man she saw before certainly agreed with her thought, as he interrupted their conversation by telling them not to fight back so that they wouldn't alert the guards.

Unfortunately, it was quite late for that as Youmu already drew her blades from their sheats, fully intending to attack back at the lady's provocation. Knowing her type, she wouldn't listen even if she told her to stop.

Well, she simply had to end this fight as quickly and silently as she could then.

She quickly turned her entire body into water, before leaping towards the arrogant lady. She was an Undine, so such techniques weren't unfamiliar for her kind. She was also capable of shaping water into soild things, as the clothes she wore was made out of water as well. If she had wore an actual dress, it would've fallen off her body when she transformed into her water form. It would be really bothersome to put it on back afterwards.

She made sure most of her body mass was heading towards her, while she sent off a little part of herself to the sides, unnoticeable by the lady. She expected her to cast the same spell she cast before to repel her. Her true attack came afterwards, with the little bit of water latching onto her right when she wouldn't expect it. She intended to quickly cover her mouth, stopping her from screaming for help from the guards while simultaneously asphyxiating her. Of course, she didn't intend to kill her, only to teach her a lesson she wouldn't forget.

Lilac de Blanc

Lilac rose from her bed sluggishly when she heard the knock from the other side of the wall. It was Marth again. What did he want this time?

She groaned inwardly when she heard that he had left his elective sheet in her room. She looked at the nearby desk and found it right away, thankfully.

She remembered that she hadn't selected her electives either. With monster hunting now becoming mandatory, she only had a choice for one other elective.

That would be drawing, she thought. She could just sit there and not say anything for the entire class, which seemed like the ideal learning environment for her.

Taking her own sheet, seeing how the volunteer collecting the sheets must be on his side of the room, she opened the sliding door.

"Here it is." She gave his sheet to his hand. "And give him my sheet too," she continued, handing over her sheet as well.

After that, without another word to her partner, she went back to her side of the room and slid the door close once more.
