Honestly, I don't get the grief given to SAO when there's stuff like Mushoku Tensei where the MC actively lusts for underaged girls. And it's the most popular isekai in Japan.

Also, it's kinda annoying going back and forth writing short replies since I got other stuff to do and that just interrupts my rythm.

Oh yeah, Freyja is going your "hardcore shonen teacher" route.
Freyja Leden

Freyja smiled when she saw the redhead regrouping with her teammates, no doubt with the intent of formulating a plan. Finally, she was starting to learn how important teamwork would be in this match. It would be like that in the real world too, as a team of channellers had to compliment each other's abilities.

Meanwhile, another pair of students was locked in a melee combat, with one of them holding a broadsword in his hand. She noticed how he just created it out of thin air. Most likely he would be an Architect then, she thought. Maybe he would be in his class, so she paid extra attention to him.

Hmm, so far the broadsword he summoned seemed to be an ordinary one. So his mastery was still at a basic level, she thought. She guessed he only had learned the structure of a broadsword, without really understanding how you could improve on it. He still had a lot to learn. If he were to be in her class, she had to start learning about swordmaking herself. There were a couple of books talking about that in the library, if she remembered correctly.

Her gaze than fell upon a boy charging towards one of the flags, his body glowing brightly. She saw on the other team a boy who looked like a panda ninja throwing some shurikens at the boy in an attempt to stop his charge. Ignoring the obvious oddness of his outfit, she wondered if those shurikens would be effective. Well, it turned out that they were, somewhat, as it halted the boy, who gave a flipping off to the ninja in response before running again, slower this time. She didn't understand why he had to be angry. It was a competition after all.

Back to the swordsman, she saw the blade connecting a bit against the opponent, making him cringe in pain a little. It didn't stop him however, as he still went for his tackle against the swordsman. It failed to bring him down, which made Freyja sigh in relief. Without her knowing, she had been rooting for the swordsman, perhaps thanks to the fact that he was an architect like her.

She looked back at the glowing boy, and now he had fell down to the ground. That meant he was out, and he had to return to the other side, to his team's flag. The ninja really did get him now, it seemed. But his opponents weren't finsihed, as the redhead went in, aiming for his head. Oh boy, she was pretty sure that was against the rules. And if her hit were to connect, the boy would certainly take major damage, enough to even make him lose consciousness, she presumed. And if that were to happen, the teachers had to stop the match momentarily to carry him away from the field, with his team losing one player.

The boy didn't just give up however, as he sent a heat beam towards the ninja as a counterattack.

One boy on the opposing team quickly realized the incoming danger and dragged the ninja and the girl with him down to dodge the beam. However, it seemed the beam was nothing more than just a warm air. Nothing dangerous at all.

Freyja sighed in relief. She had reflectively made an ice bomb in response but she was unsure she could throw it fast enough before the heat reached them.

Well, the institute was no stranger to wounds caused by battle. Even if the wave had been actually dangerous, the students affected could be cured handily thanks to the healing abilities of Asa and Alexis. And it would be a good thing for the new students to realize just how dangerous fights between channelers could be.

But now, they had to learn why it would be a bad idea to disobey the rules.

"Stop! Stop this match now!" Freyja shouted as she approached them.

She glared at the redhead before saying, "What were you thinking? He was out and you still attacked him?"

She then glared at the fallen down boy. "And you! You're already out! You're not supposed to attack anymore!" Even with him being down there didn't deter Freyja from bestowing her wrath upon him.

Freyja then pulled the boy up in his arm, cringing a bit at the sight of puke and mucus on his face, before asking, "Are you alright? Do you still want to continue?" Here, she was back to her usual tone, as if she hadn't been angry just a second ago.

"If you still can, then we shall continue the match. But you and you--she glared back at the redhead girl--will receive punishment for disobeying the rules."

Before Metel could hear the reply to her (and the centaur woman's) question, a blond guy suddenly barged in and grabbed the man giving the sheeets by his shirt, demanding to know what the hell he meant by telling them to write the 2 million word essay. He had the same question as them but he went asking for the answer in a far different, and less polite, manner. Before Metel could tell him to drop the act, a girl took her place, begging the man to stop fighting or at least to fight outside instead of here. She also handed her sheet back, saying that the trial wasn't for her. Maybe she just decided to give up after looking at the essay question.

Of course, the blond guy responded rudely to her plead. Metel had already expected this, to be honest. He seemed like the arrogant type to her.

To make matters even worse, the inquisitor woman joined in on the fun, as she took her badge out and ordered the blond man to stand down and leave the old man alone. Metel noticed however how she was standing uncomfortably close to the man, with her chest pressing against his and her staring right into his eyes. It was a dangerous position to be in, she thought, but the inquisitor lady seemed to be too angry to notice.

That is, until the orc man pushed the blond towards her, making them have an accidental kiss.

Unlike the centaur woman, Metel was both horrified and embarrassed by the display. A blush crept onto her cheeks. She had no experience in lovemaking, so a simple accidental kiss caught her by surprise, making her heart beat faster. She averted her gaze, trying to regain her composure.
Yeah, I'm still waiting for this matter to be settled before posting, since Freyja would definitely react to something like that happening.
Yeah, I'm just waiting for the others to reply.
Victoria Luxemberg

Victoria lunged forward in her water form towards the arrogant lady. A stone wall suddenly appeared between them, no doubt another magic cast by her. However, the wall wasn't entirely solid as she could see little cracks that her liquid body could slip through. It seemed she hadn't really mastered her magic yet.

And so she did, and she quickly took her chance to latch on the lady's mouth like she had planned before. Her hands futilely tried to pry the water off but everyone knew you couldn't really grab water.

"Luxemberg-san, what are you doing?!"

Hmm, was that Youmu's voice she just heard, she wondered. Oh my, could she think that she was aiming to kill her? Oh, she should've told her her plan before. She simply wanted to teach the arrogant lady a little lesson with fear. Fear of drowning was one of the most common fears everyone had after all. This, she knew instinctively as an undine ever since she was born.

However, the lady didn't give up so easily, as she breathed a strong gust of wind that blew her off her mouth. Tcth, she thought she wouldn't be capable of casting spells without a chant.

She gathered her liquid self, reforming into her human form once more. She then saw another person stepping out of the carriage, asking whether or not the lady was alright.

"... Are you well?" Youmu asked the first magician, first, before quickly transitioning to explaining herself to the second girl who had appeared. "I wish to challenge your friend, Rielle-san, to a duel."

"Hmm, it seemed you want to do this the honorable way, Youmu-chan," she said to her partner with a smile. "I am no warrior like you so I prefer to end the fight right away. That's why I tried to drown the good lady like that. I didn't plan to kill her of course, only to scare her a little. I am an undine so I know very well the fear of drowning all land creatures possess."

"Very well, it's your turn now, Youmu-chan. Go show them what you can do. I'll just stand here and watch," she continued, still smiling. She was curious on what the little swordswoman could do.

Freyja Leden

The match finally began, and the redhead who punched Jonathan earlier started it by rushing straight towards the enemy's flag. Not really a smart move, in her opinion, but it certainly suited her hot-tempered "think later act now" personality. And as she had predicted, her attack was immediately repelled by the opposing team, a blue-haired boy, with a strong kick using both of his legs and all the weight of his body. The girl was flung away, landing face floor to the ground.

That must have hurt, she thought.

As the battles were unfolding, she noticed some of the non-participating students scribbling away like mad, no doubt taking notes of all the powers in display. She herself didn't understand the point. She could remember all the powers being displayed just fine without writing it down. She usually only used notes during her research, where she had to write down a complicated chemical reaction to really understand it without confusing it with a similar yet very different reaction. Compared to that, this was quite simple to remember.

Well, as a teacher, she wouldn't scold a student for taking notes. But still, she felt it was quite rude to the ones in combat. She wouldn't be happy if she were to receive the similar treatment. She would feel like a lab rat.

What are you trying to insinuate here?
Freyja Leden

After she split up with Jonathan, she joined the other teachers who would be supervising the assessment test. She looked at Asa explaining the test to the new students. The rules of the game should be simple enough, she thought. This would be a test on how well their control on their abilities were. It wouldn't be just a test about raw strength, or else they would've simply made them fight each other. And besides, it would be unfair to some students whose abilities weren't exactly meant for direct combat. Freyja considered herself to be one of those channelers. Her ability to create bombs would be most effective when she was paired with a front line fighter, someone who could distract the opponent while she laid her bomb traps.

After the explanation was over, the students quickly talked among themselves, discussing who would do offense and who would do defense. She supposed this test could also be seen as a test of teamwork. But she herself was more interested in what abilities the students possessed and how they would employ said abilities.

Speaking of being interested in their abilities, she noticed her pupil Ryuuto up in the trees taking notes with his smartphone. Really, she didn't understand why he needed to be up there to watch. They could just watch nicely from the sidelines like she's doing now. Maybe he just really wanted a close up view on their upcoming match.
