Refreshed and glowing from a passionate nest building, Kerry strode out of the temple, flicking the invitation letters to the sky as she made her way to the grounds. Instead of falling to the ground, the letters poofed in a cloud of glittering silver, true to Alice's word that they were delivered to the name of the invited guest, no matter where they were.

"This one's for Xena. Doubt that mantis will dress up for this shindig, but one can hope.....Oh gods, Clara and Fara? Those two kobolds had better behave themselves....One for Shane Maros, daddy dearest.....And the last one goes to........Mom."

The final invitation held in her chitinous hands, the name Pandora Maros written elegantly on the parchment. The hornet took a deep breath before toss the letter into the air, disappearing and sent to its recipient.

"It's done. Invitations sent. No turning back now.", Kerry spoke, dusting her hands. "Heh....wow. I'm actually getting married. This.....this is r-really happening......Hehehe...."

As she giggled at what the prospective future held, Kerry would notice the rest of the taskforce finally returning from their quests. And judging from smiles and captured Varjans, the liberation of Komatsu Bay was a success. Obviously, with the winds now in their favor, Takeshi was eager to finally make an offensive push, starting with rescuing his father, Hideo Oja.

About time the winds shifted in our favor., she thought to herself as she approached to greet and congratulate her teammates, when she remembered one crucial detail. Actually, two.

Alice's return......and their little miracle.

"Uuuuh, hey guys.", Kerry announced herself, now unsure of how to go about breaking this news. "I see y'all are back taking back Komatsu Bay. Awesome. Maybe now, we can start taking it to those Varjan asshats. And while you were gone...

Alice, Carroll and Eula just walked out of the temple when Kerry gestured with her thumb back toward the trio.

"....Guess who came back to us?"

As Rayne blink dashed back to town to reassure the locals that nothing was amiss, Fran turned her attention back to the unconscious cows....which have now become quite the sizeable bovine pile-up.

Huh....Every time she comes up with a solution, a new problem instantly rears its head afterwards. Oh well, at least this issue is more manageable. Dismissing her weapon, Fran approached the cow, bent down and, once she had a good grip on the animal...

"Hyup!"

....lifted the cow onto her shoulder as if it was a measly bag of carrots. The berserker then walked all the way to the big barn that was still intact and gently put the animal down inside. As she strode back out, Fran stopped near a farmhand, who was still frozen from her screaming earlier. It only took the Servant a moment to find a remedy to this problem. With just one finger...

*BZZZT*

"OW!"

There. Got the human moving again.

And so began Fran's task of going and froth, picking up cows one by one and depositing them in the barn, all the while zapping a farmhand on the way. Hopefully, enough of them can get started on building a new fence to keep the cows contained once they wake up. As she walked with another cow in tow, Fran notices Rayne glancing over to her. With a neutral expression that heavily contrasted with everything she has done so far, the Servant gave the witch knight a thumbs up before resuming her task.

As such, any who do encounter a Gellers are met with uncanny wit, esoteric magecraft and modern worldviews. Quill is no exception and when the Chaldea Security Organization offer a slot to the family, it was Quill who was sent to fill the need.

With a family as reclusive as Quill's, it seemed only fitting that he would be matched with the "Evil Wind" ninja himself, Fuuma Kotarou.

Quill gains Kotarou's kunai(normal and explosive) and throwing stars, as well as the speed and agility of a true ninja. He also gains the trademark abilites of the shinobi, such as running on water and walls, standing on various surfaces including ceilings and being able to move without a sound. Upon Install, Quill receives the full arsenal of a veteran shinobi, including a wakizashi, a kusarigama, windmill shurikens and bombs(smoke and explosive). He also gains the ability to produce shadow clones and substitution(swap himself with a wooden log or dummy). The install completely replaces Quill's current outfit with Kotarou's signature shinobi grab(Ascension 2).

Kazenosuke, unsteady and damaged, got back on his feet and pointed his sword at the trio.

"You... think it's over...? I've still got some fight left in me..."

The mouse's statement trailed off as noticed something very odd amongst the surrounding trees:

Crows. Murder upon murder of crows, perched on the branches. Watching. And judging from the magical energy she was sensing from these birds, they were anything but normal.

“Please tell me you have a plan to get them to stop!”

"...Eh?"

Ah......so that's why Fran felt something was missing from her idea. Probably would've been wise to think of something to stop the cows after she corralled them. As such, without a substantial block to impede them, the stampeding cows tore through the fence with ease and continued running east. Hastened to correct this gaffe, Fran jumped ahead of the herd and turned on the lightshow again, keeping it on as she directed the herd until they circled back toward the farm.

This time, Fran had an idea on how to get them to stop.

"Cover....ears!", the Servant yelled to Rayne and the other farmhands, it was the only warning they will get as Fran once more leapt in front of the herd. She stood her ground as the stampede bared down on her, but she did not cower or fidget in fear.

Instead, she took a deep breath and....

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

As she used Wail of the Falsely Living, the scream being so loud that even the town and the surrounding forest can hear it, the stampede would indeed stop, less by choice and more on the fact that the screaming was so fear-inducing and debilitating that the cows couldn't breathe properly and as such...

Thud.....Thud,Thud.....Thud....

After thirty seconds, Fran ceased her wail and saw the cows had fallen to the ground, passed out due to lack of oxygen. She walked up to one and kneeled down, pressing two fingers on the cows neck, feeling a pulse. With a satisfactory nod, Fran stood and turned to Rayne.

"Cows.....stopped."

Personality: Playful, brash, clever, preceptive and not afraid to speak her mind. Will do the right thing, but HER way. Has a soft and caring side that only those close to her know about, but is often hidden from others under a tough exterior. A chaotic good tomboy.

Nowadays, Kerry is beginning to wonder if her dad knew early on where her life was headed.

Born to a human father and a Echidna mother, Kerry Maros wasn't like most hornets. She wasn't like most mamono kids either, where most girls would busy themselves with finding prospective husbands in their childhood youth or go into career paths in order to find their dream man, Kerry would dream of what adventures and tales laid beyond her quiet village home in the Lozagon Forest. A dream that held strong as she grew into a beautiful young woman, traveling the lands as a skilled lancer for hire. From odd jobs such as bodyguard and convoy escort to participating in fighting tournaments, Kerry lived that dream and lived it well. So when rumors of a Inari in need of brave volunteers to investigate of far off Zipangunese island in the midst of a potential war with Varjo reached the hornet's ears, well...

And so, Kerry set her sights to Shizuyama, eager to see if this adventure will her best one ever.......oh, and maybe find a man to bring home. Her mom is really getting on her case about that.

Ace Of The Lance- Carries two enchanted metal spears on her back, one black and one silver. Skilled enough to dual wield both and fight effectively. The black spear, named Dusk, is made of Demon Realm steel and saps spirit energy. The silver spear, named Mort, is made of regular steel and Kerry's more lethal weapon that she only uses as a last resort. Kerry also has two bracelets, black and silver as well, that magically attuned to the spears, meaning if she were to ever lose a spear, she can just reach her hand out and the corresponding spear will fly back to her hand.

Wind Element- Due to her unique birth, Kerry gained her mother's affinity to magic and found wind to be her most effective element. Combined with her skills with the spear and her ability to fly, this increases Kerry's speed and combat prowess to levels that make her a very challenging opponent.

Personality: To those who don't know him, Conner would most likely come off as "lone wolf". He's quiet, reserved and mostly keeps to himself most of time. Hell, he'll rarely interact with anyone he doesn't know. And he DOES interact with others, he's polite and professional. However, this side of him is known to strangers and the public, in general. To his family and friends(and, by extension, Servant), he is a kind, friendly and intelligent young man.
He is also known to be quite observant, seeing things people would usually either dismiss or ignore and noticing moments others have when they think no one is looking. This rather nosy quirk of his was often the source of joking and chagrin to those close to him, the phrase "Conner is always watching." was something he often heard from others throughout his life yet he always took it in stride. Not his fault people are careless about what they're doing around other folks. Conner is also known to be reliable and trustworthy, especially when trouble rears it's ugly head. He knows he's not the strongest or the best, but he's not afraid to do the right thing.

History: Conner is the eldest of six in the fourth generation of the Griggs magus family. Hailing from a long line engineers and inventors, upon discovering their aptitude for magecraft, the family quickly became acclimated in a world they didn't even think existed. Utilizing the mechanical know-how from their industrious past, the Griggs garnered a reputation of being of producing various magecraft tools and equipment, one of these being their closely-guarded Armis de Superbia.

When word of a recently established organization in need of new mages reached the family's ears, the opportunity to expand their influence and gain a new consumer base was all too enticing. Being the most promising of his generation, his parents sent Conner off to Chaldea. The evaluations and tests he performed once he got there were some of the hardest he's every taken, but the young man stuck to it and didn't quit. Sure enough, he passed and was assigned to second team. While not the best or strongest, Conner's persistence and observant nature proved that he can be quite the capable mage.

Personality: Due to being a Berserker-class Servant, the inherent Madness Enchantment robs most of her speech, limiting her to broken sentences, one-word answers, head gestures and grunts. Shy and quiet yet highly intelligent and empathetic. Prefers peaceful activities such flower picking and sky watching. Dislikes pushy and exuberant people. Shows uncanny stewardship when it comes to energy conservation.

Brief History:
An artificial being created by Victor Frankenstein.
Made as an Eve to be a partner to Adam, but she lacked the ability to express her emotions and was deemed a failure. Victor intended from the start to create an Adam and Eve...the original couple.
Different from the Bible, he first created Eve and then thought of having Eve give birth to Adam. However, his Eve...an artificial life form created from sewn together corpses, was a failure.
She was unable to control or connect her emotions, and after brutally murdering wild dogs and offering their intestines as a present, Victor fled in fear. However, after being left behind, Frankenstein's knowledge and emotional capacity grew as she got in contact with the outside world.
Eventually, she felt anger towards Victor for abandoning her.
Getting tired of her persistently chasing him all the way to the South Pole, Victor chose his own death. With the man she had looked up to gone and without anyone to hate, she parted from Walton, the man who watched over Frankenstein's final moment, and traveled to the uttermost north. She built herself a pyre, allowing herself to be consumed by the flames while thinking, "May my ashes be scattered across the seas..." That was the end of the monster born from the delusions of Frankenstein.

Universe of Origin: Fate (Apocrypha)

Equipment:
Bridal Chest- One of her two Noble Phantasms, this large war hammer (battle mace) that discharges electricity with the appearance of tree branches when used as a striking weapon. Kept on her at all times even while not in battle to power her, the large, spherical orb on the top contains her reactor core, her heart. Although used as a bludgeoning weapon against enemies, particularly effective against armored enemies, it can be considered only a secondary use to its primary function of absorbing excess magical energy from the environment. The "fin" on the opposite end of the mace remotely transfers electrical energy to her main body by means of the similar fin on the side of her head. It is a high-efficiency implement that continuously gathers and recycles energy wasted by her and gathers energy present in her surroundings to continuously power her by flowing it through her heart and into her Magic Circuits.

Abilities:
Galvanism- Unrestricted conversion and accumulation of magical energy and bioelectricity. Energy-based or magical projectiles can be converted to electricity and discharged into the environment, nullified. Also, depending on the amount of stored electricity it can be put to use strengthening Fran's body and rapidly repair damage.

Wail of the Falsely Living- A shrill shout that can’t be known when will end and that increases while on Mad Enhancement. It deprives enemies and allies without distinction of their ability to think, and those without the capacity to resist will panic and become unable to breathe.

Overload- An intentional boost up while being aware of suffering damage. Fran converts the mana accumulated with Galvanism into more electricity than the maximum permissible level and bounces the attack power of her Noble Phantasm up by outputting all of it. She suffers damage from this ability and when used with her second Noble Phantasm, it will deal fatal damage to Fran.

Blasted Tree: The Lightning Tree of Crucifixion - Fran's second Noble Phantasm and only used as a final resort. By planting the fin of Bridal Chest into the ground as her reactor's limiters are completely released, she creates a twister of energy with her at the center, the fins on the tail end of Bridal Chest begin to spin at high speeds. All the electricity is discharged into the surrounding environment as an area of effect attack, taking on the silhouette of a towering tree that "rains down like a waterfall" and scatters homing thunder throughout the surrounding area.

Other: Due to her mindful energy conservation, Fran will turn off any light in any room that's not being used.

Medusa and her sisters were born from the wishes of mankind for ideal idols, the embodiment of the yearning hearts of men. As "perfect goddesses", their "divine essence" was to remain the same from the moment of their creation to their destruction. Medusa was an exception who was a failure from birth, growing older over time. Though they should have all been copies, or even as close as clones, resulting from the deification of the same phenomenon, a mistake in her birth or something of deeper significance caused her to be copied imperfectly. While she did not embody "forever young and immortal", she gained abilities in compensation compared to her sisters' inability to even care for themselves. With divine powers, her Mystic Eyes, indispensable in protecting her sisters who could not live in the world on their own, this caused the previously united sisters to become three separate individuals. Although Medusa was different from the start, even the other two showed irregularities, their sadistic nature, from interacting with her.[8]

She was originally considered to be a princess loved by humans, but Athena, jealous of their beauty, cursed Medusa alone, taking away her "faith from each and every person" and exiling her to the Shapeless Isle. Their love for her turned to hatred, and she was banished by those who had adored her. The island had nothing to offer compared to her days of luxury, and she prayed that none of the humans that now frightened her with their unwarranted resentment would tread on the island. Weeping in loneliness, she had no idea as to her sin that forced her to be exiled. Although her sisters were not affected and still greatly loved, they too accompanied her there out of caring for their younger sister. She was happy even on the barren island due to their company, and only had to fear the coming humans.[8]

While they became rumored as monsters, her sisters were still revered by nearby men, while she was feared as a monster. Humans sought to kill that which had been branded as a monster and take away the goddesses, and after they began to also target her sisters, she decided to protect them while taking her revenge on the humans. Although littered with statues that had been warriors, they were harmonious for a time on the island, at one point receiving her Pegasus from Poseidon. Though bullied by her sisters daily, she simply moved about the island on days humans did not appear, hoping for the peace to continue. Repaying them in the same manner as they treated her, she killed many humans, simply hoping to be left alone on the only place she could exist with the company of her sisters.

Though she was protecting them from the foolish humans who sought their own deaths, her sisters warned her not to take pleasure in killing them. Using her eyes that were only a deterrent to sow terror in humans, she began to experiment in ways of killing them more quickly. Deciding to become a trap against those who would take her sisters, even they who had always been full of joy began to fear her after she started drinking their blood instead of simply petrifying them. The humans continued to journey the island no matter the infamy surrounding her, and she eventually became too ashamed of her slowly disfiguring self to appear before her sisters. Leaving them, she once again found herself alone, hungering for new sacrifices to replace her sadness and loneliness.

She grew into the Gorgon each day as her body, heart, and very being decayed, all backed by the thought of becoming stronger for the sake of protecting her sisters. Even that reached a point where her sisters instead became nuisances who were intruding upon her lair. They appeared before her after her full descent into a monster, lamenting that they had not asked for her protection and were just letting her enjoy what had seemed fun to her. Saddened by her state, they sacrificed themselves to the Gorgon because the sister who protected them was no longer there. Consumed by countless snakes without any trace of joy or sadness, they were ground into pulp and absorbed into the beast while still alive. Without leaving a trace, they became its flesh and blood, and it continued to thrive as the Gorgon sisters became monsters of nightmares and legends.

The Gorgon's notoriety continued until Perseus decided to bring back its head for his own fame. Granted five Noble Phantasms, he boldly traveled to the Shapeless Isle without any hesitation, only realizing his folly upon seeing the state of the island. He despaired upon encountering it, having decided that there is no victory to be found against the demon god, with his Noble Phantasms only acting as lifesaving equipment in the best scenario. Avoiding her gaze by focusing on his Mirror shield, he desperately fought to survive. Tired of toying with him, it used Breaker Gorgon, and he used the only possible method of defeating it, using Kibisis to have it encage itself.

Reversing the nightmare of the Bounded Field upon it, it suffered as Medusa as the nightmare reflected upon it instead of Perseus. While it was a "nightmare beyond nightmares", it was not an evil vision that caused excruciating pain, but a pleasant dream of her sisters, paralyzing her with the joy of seeing those she thought she would never again meet. Despairing upon the reflection of itself from when it was still self-aware, this allowed Perseus to have his single counterattack, severing its head with Harpe. The monster, out of its own will, became Medusa again and let itself be struck down. Perseus used Kibisis to hold its head, later going on to become a successful hero.

Effect: It is utilized on a beast from the Age of Gods; a physical attack that pulverizes the enemies by means of a super charge. Despite Pegasus displaying overwhelming ability, it is a docile being unfit for combat. It is with this Noble Phantasm that all of Pegasus's abilities are drastically increased by one rank for a limited time. Furthermore, thanks to the Pegasus’s Divine Protection, the armor class is also increased by 100, granting this Noble Phantasm of the highest level in terms of combination of offense and defense.

Breaker Gorgon, Self Seal-Dark Temple

Range: Small

Effect: It can seal the target's consciousness within Medusa's mind, preventing them from activating any of their abilities. Medusa primarily uses this rather weak Noble Phantasm not on others, but on herself to seal her Mystic Eyes of Petrification. While this keeps her blindfolded, she perceives the world through hearing, touch, smell, and magic-detection to have an even more precise outlook than with sight.

Effect: A counterpart to Breaker Gorgon. It takes the form of magic circles placed as predetermined points and people within the affected area will have their life force lightly sapped. However, in case it is fully activated, regular people without the Magic Resistance skill will be quickly dissolved unless they possess knowledge of thaumaturgy, in which case it will be difficult to affect them. Even Heroic Spirits will have their life force plundered as long as they are inside the barrier. Thus, it is not a Noble Phantasm to be used for combat, but rather a Bounded Field created by Medusa to efficiently gather blood to drink mana.

As is common knowledge in the Moonlit World, mages seek to hone their magecraft in order to reach the Root and obtain the True Magic. However, the Root is not the only goal of magecraft. Legend tells of the existence of a colossal, mechanized god of almighty power. A divine being existing outside time and space, capable of observing and overseeing countless possibilities and timelines of our world. So powerful is this deity that it has concluded that any interference on its part would cause massive, irreparable harm on our world, regardless of its noble intent. Therefore, it has remained on the sidelines, ever watching our past, present and future play out naturally.

This being is known as Bastion, The Flawless One....and it was the Ullser family that were the first and only mages to have succeeded in reaching this glorious fusion of magic and technology.

Reginald, prefers to be called Reggie, Ullser comes from a relatively old line of secretive mages, the origins of the family dating back to the birth of the Industrial Revolution. As a family that began right as Mystery began to decline, this peculiar group of mages uses modern technology alongside their magecraft, as way to augment and fine-tune their abilities. Unsurprisingly, this earned the family a rather low reputation of not being "real mages" among the more ancient and traditional mage families. The dreams of the Ullser family were mocked and ridiculed, regarded as a "wild goose chase for a thing that doesn't exist."

However, through decades and centuries of research, failures, trials and bloody wars, the Ullsers did reach their goal: Bastion. Upon learning and understanding this enigmatic god, the family made a wise decision. Realizing the catastrophic ruin that would come from Bastion's mere presence in the world, the Ullsers would go into hiding, ensuring the existence of Bastion would never see the light of day. The mage world would go on to assume the Ullsers had reached the end of their magecraft and simply faded into obscurity.

Years later, on rare happenstance, a woman, by the name of Ritsuka Fujimaru, sent a letter of invitation to the Ullsers, offering one of their number to be a member of the Security Organization, Chaldea. Not believing this to be mere coincidence, the family turned to Bastion for guidence.....and were revealed a grim vision:

A dark fate was set to befall on Humanity, in all timelines. One that, if not met and deterred, would require Bastion's interference.

Knowing that such an occurrence would spell disaster, the Ullsers would send their oldest son, Reginald. Kind yet guarded, crude yet wise beyond his years, the 20 year old was the most prospective of his generation, as well as the most talented. Hopefully, his talents and skills, along with the teachings of Bastion, will be of great help in averting this looming crisis.

Minor Magecraft

• Bright Bolts: Small projectiles that can be fired from Reggie's hands. Fast, but weak.
• Flash: A quick spell where intense light bursts from Reggie's body, blinding those within range.
• Bright Beam: A concentrated beam of light. Stronger than Light Bolts, but requires focus.
• Bright Cannon: A large projectile using both hands. Slower and more taxing than Light Bolts and Bright Beam, but is stronger than both.
• Swords of the Divine: Blade-shaped constructs of light that hover near Reggie. Can be used as projectiles or melee weapons. Up to 5 can appear.
• Beacon/Light-port: A tactical spell where Reggie conjures a floating ball of light and puts it down at a location. At any point and as long as he has the mana, Reggie can teleport back to where the ball is placed.

Major Magecraft

• Seekers of Bastion: Reggie creates an ephemeral copy of Bastion behind him, which will then unleash an array of streaming light missiles, homing in on any targets. Can only be casted twice per Singularity.
• Fist of the Flawless: Reggie reels his fist back, a ghostly image of Bastion's arm doing the same behind him before launching his fist forward. The arm becomes a corporeal construct of light as Bastion's fist strikes its target. Can only be casted three times per Singularity.
• Bastion's Decree: The spectral depiction of Bastion appears in front of Reggie, charging a very powerful beam of light before firing it in a bright line along the ground, erupting in a tremendous explosion. Can only be used once per Singularity.

Primary Mystic Code

Bastion's Embrace:


The teachings of Bastion, along with the Ullser's technological origins, have resulted in the creation of the family's signature Mystic Code, Bastion's Embrace. Essentially, it is suit of armor, made of material both magical and mechanical. It is exclusively tied to the family's Magic Crest which only activates when invoked by an incantation. When equipped, the wearer's magic circuits become augmented, heightening senses and enhancing physical capabilities. Plus, it also boosts the effectiveness of the wearer's magecraft, in terms of power, mana mangagement and mana output.

Non-Magecraft Abilities/Items

Given the nature of his magecraft, as well as what was to come in Chaldea's mission, it was pretty imperative that Reggie learn how to defend himself against various threats. As such, he has learned various martial arts, both with and without weapons. His favorites are karate and sword fighting.
