I read through the posts in the IC. Any ideas on where they are retreating to? Is there a base nearby?My character is a doctor, so I learned last night that she would be a good 15km behind the front at a battalion aid station, but I'm not sure if you even have one considering this was just a "look around to see if they are there" operation. Mostly, I just need a good place to come in.

She might be a doctor in civilian practice but perhaps still a medic as far as the PAF is concerned; especially if she was a medic when she was conscripted. In which case, she'd be with an infantry unit and closer to the actual line. It'd be more convenient if she started out as a medic in an infantry unit, no matter what subsequent medical training, and not be an active duty type. Then the case could be made that the military never shifted her to a new role that reflected her qualifications and there she was, an overqualified field medic.
