The Doctor lay back against his pillows "I had a bath before I'd left the TARDIS today." he explained. He curled up in his blankets and closed his eyes, he smiled when she brought him books to read.
"Ah thank you." he smiled. It was nice having something to do. He did like reading. He chuckled "Yes probably , I Have a big library in my TARDIS, can show you once I am well."
He smiled and picked up one of the books and reads a bit. He could hear her talking with her flatmates. He was shivering a bit and he curled up in his blankets more.
The Doctor began thinking for awhile, he seemed to be lost in thought, he put the book aside when he coughed a bit. He hated coughing as it did wear him out.

Caitlyn was looking forward to going inside the TARDIS a smile on her lips and looked up at hearing his coughing. Henry's eyebrow raised.
"Someone here sick?" He asked Caitlyn.
"Yeah. A family friend of Jackie and Rose's. John Smith. I wasn't sure it was him when I saw him though when I saw him passed out sick, as he called me to try and get in Rose's life again. But I realised it was him I took him home from the hospital for I wasn't sure his return would be received with open arms. Cause Rose and he had a falling out." She answered with a look of worry. "Please don't tell them he's here. I'm not sure that would be best for his health as it is. I would like him to be fine as Jackie comes in like a righteous warrior. And that isn't something I would wish even against my worse enemy." She said with a laugh.

The Doctor coughed hard and then lay down and sighed, he seemed more relaxed because the medicine was helping, he knew he would need more later. Though he hated flu's , never having the energy to do much and always wanting to sleep was annoying. He curled up in blankets and closed his eyes. Not sleeping but mainly just resting his eyes.
He was glad the medicine had helped his headache, he sits up again to drink some of his water. The Doctor hoped he wasn't going to be in bed too long he wanted to get back to saving people and chasing aliens. He knew that even if he wasn't well things could still happen.

"Fine I will keep quiet." Henry agreed and Caitlyn hugged him with a smile as she got the ready food onto the table biting her lip as she debated eating in her room or not. It might be strange for her to do, to keep an eye on the Doctor as she wanted to, to make sure he would be alright. She was always teased that she would make a wonderful mother since she worried about everyone in her own way. She knew when to back off and let things happen, and when it was alright to come into war, guns blazing. She only rolled her eyes and retorted, "Yeah that will only happen when I'm twenty-four almost twenty five, and I have plenty of money. Not to mention a boyfriend who I want to or am about to be married to. Those are my qualifications. Besides from the obvious have to graduate from school, who doesn't mind that I like silence or being by myself from time to time. An accent wouldn't hurt. Especially if its bone meltingly sexy. And maybe not hard on the eyes would be nice although not too hard." She giggles softly as that thought came to mind and Selena came home smiling.
"So what's so funny?" She asks putting the keys on the hook.
"I was just thinking that you have a nice boyfriend. I wouldn't mind one like him. Just not exactly so." Both women laugh as Henry rolls his eyes and kisses Selena's cheek.
"Gee love you two too."
"I know. We're just too awesome to despise." Selena placed a package on the table.
"This came in the mail."
"Aww. Mom sent the birthday gifts early. She can never guess if they are going to come early or late so hopes its early every time this comes along." Caitlyn said excited. She was going to be a year older by tomorrow.

The Doctor was getting rather bored laying in bed, he sighed and wondered if he should just get up, he almost wished that their would be an alien attack. Even if he was sick he needed something to do. He didn't care if he was having to chase aliens when he wasn't feeling well. The Doctor would cope if he had to.
His throat still rather hurt as well.

The Doctor was laying there, He sneezed again and uses tissue, After awhile the Doctor can't take laying down, and he shakily gets to his feet and walked out to where her friends were.
He felt too alone in the bedroom. "Hello," he coughed and smiled weakly at her friends. He looked rather sick and was sweating from being out of bed.He though couldn't stand being in the room too long. He had his sonic screwdriver in his hand as well. It was like he was also keeping alert for something.
"I know I should be in bed, but its too hard," he replied.

"Yeah too used to being up and about. It is hard, but you need to get better. However, I see no harm in your joining us." Caitlyn said pulling out a chair for him knowing just how hard it must be for him to sit and relax. Too used to being chased after, almost killed, and regenerated. Selena looks at the stranger then to Caitlyn a look of confusion. "Oh, John meet Selena Jefferies. Selena, meet John Smith. He was in a relationship with Rose before they had a falling out. He's sick and had gone back on surprising Jackie and Rose with his return until he gets better. So could you keep him our little secret? Only Mickey, Henry, yourself, and I know that he's here. How is your head? Feeling any better?" She asked the Doctor curiously.

"Yeah I don't like doing nothing, even if I am ill Id still do stuff" The Doctor knew he would still save the universe even if he was ill. He sits down by them and smiled a bit "Nice to meet you all." he said seeming in a good mood despite his flu.
He was shivering a bit. "Ohh medicine is helping my headache yeah."
The Doctor was feeling rather miserable and he was glad the medicine helped a little at least.
He coughed a bit and leaned back.

Caitlyn stood and got something warm for him and wrapped it around his shoulders. "There we go." She said with a smile. Selena giggles.
"Going a bit over board in making sure he's okay, aren't you?" She teases. Caitlyn sighs.
"No I'm not. I'd do this for anyone sick." She said with an exasperated look at Selena.
"Its nice to meet you too. Ah, THAT John Smith?" Selena asked finally putting two and two together. Caitlyn laughs softly.
"Of course that John. Did you think I meant the explorer?" Caitlyn asked rhetorically a raised eyebrow. She shook her head a smile on her lips. She enjoyed these little quips between her and Selena.

The Doctor smiled weakly, he curled up in the seat he was on, his eyes closed a bit as he relaxed. It was hard for him to relax though. He felt his stomach was still churning. He knew medicine couldn't always stop him from throwing up. He sat for awhile hoping the feeling would pass and that he would have to run to bathroom.
He though couldn't help but chuckle at Selena's comment. He though suddenly leaped up and ran to the bathroom. He coughed and threw up in the toilet, he knew soothing a stomach ache was sometimes hard.

Caitlyn stood up and stood outside the bathroom yawning suddenly tired. Although it was a Friday and she would stay up til the wee hours of the morning, she was exhausted as if she had worked overtime, and worked out at the gym. She went to her room to change seeing something there before something was placed onto her head and she felt like a spectator in her own body. Like she could watch but had no control, seeing the strange looking thing as it messed with some sort of electric device. It garbled in some sort of strange language. An alien? What is this though? She wondered curiously. It played with the device again.
"Can you understand human?" The alien asked softly knowing better than to draw attention to what was going on. She blinks in an answer. Its lips stretched in a strange way of a smile, sharp looking teeth showing. It had huge looking purple eyes. "Good. You were chosen, and should feel honored." It said. If she were to guess it was a guy but she didn't know. "When we get home, you will change into this." He said giving her a dress to hold. Why would I want to do that? She thought but just blinked in response with a small nod to show she understood. He then went to her bed working on the device again seeming to do something. Well if I were to kidnap a person I would make a doppelgänger to take their place. Come on Doctor, I don't want to enlist your help, but I don't have anyone else to turn to!

The Doctor was unaware she was captured right now, he was feeling drained and like he wanted to go back to bed, He had attempted to go to bed for awhile. Though he had heard noise and gets up again. He coughed and grabbed his sonic screwdriver. Yeah no sleep, and saving people from aliens. That sounded more like his day.
He gets up and scanned around with his sonic scewdriver. He somehow could hear her pleas in his mind. He ran out the door and was panting a bit and gasped.

Caitlyn continued to stand there, her posture perfect as she seemed to stare listlessly at her room, only moving to breathe and blink and move her eyes. There was a brief flash of recognition in her eyes as she looked at the door but that was it. The alien, whatever it was went over to her done with the duplicating process. It seemed to notice that the newly acquired 'doll' had its attention elsewhere and looked to see a man there.
"Who is this then?" He asked quietly.
"He calls himself John Smith here. But that's not his real name." Caitlyn answered her tone a bit dull. Oh no! If the alien gets too curious I could spill the fact that he's a Time Lord! I can't seem to stop myself! She thought worried. She saw some sort of button on the device and fought with every fiber in her to reach out and touch it making the two of them begin to disappear. I might not know what they did with my will, but damn if I will allow them to hurt those I care about. And besides, I have faith that he'll find me. She thought with a small smile on her lips that was barely there as the room became empty but for the doppelgänger.
"How did you do that?" The alien asked once on the spaceship.
"I felt that my friend was in trouble. So to protect him, I made myself do so." She answered once more truthfully.

The Doctor was coughing. He really wasn't feeling at all very well. He was sweating and knew he would have to go and rescue her, even if he wanted to rest. Seemed he was always saving the day even if he needed to be in bed. He could feel his head pounding again as he attempted to think.
Where would the aliens have taken here. He groaned and doubled over from pain in his stomach. He was sweating. Gritting his teeth in pain the Doctor dashes off and looked around.
"Caitlyn!!" He dashed over once he found her, he had his screwdriver ready.

The alien looked at the hallway seeing the man with the sonic screwdriver curiously. "How'd he get here?" He asked a bit shocked.
"Well it could have something to do with that device you have. Or the TARDIS helped." Caitlyn answered looking at the Doctor Thank you for small miracles. And I never heard her engines so the device totally helped. She thought still standing there, wanting to go towards him but couldn't.

The Doctor sneezed and then looked at the alien "Let her go," he didn't sound well, but he wasn't going to let these aliens have her "What do you want with her." he narrowed his eyes angrily at it.
He was sweating, but he knew Caitlyn was counting on him to rescue her. He wasn't going to let the flu beat him from doing that as well. His hearts were beating faster and he was indeed very pale.
I can do this, must keep focused he was trying hard to ignore his bodies protests.

"Well, every so often a human is chosen to be a companion of sorts to one of our children. And before today every one of them has become amicable and unable to fight the system." The alien answered. Well I doubt this controlling system never really met someone like me. Could we get passed the point where the Doctor saves me? He's sick and I don't want him to continue being on his feet. Caitlyn thought. "Let her go?" It started to laugh. "Why should I, not John Smith?" Because he's the Doctor. A Time Lord, you stupid alien. She thought amused to think that this alien didn't have any idea who he was messing with.

The Doctor coughed, His body was shaking, he seemed unsure how he was going to do this. He was listening to what they had to say. But he really didn't feel well. It showed, but he was trying to be strong. His body was begging for rest. "I'm a Time Lord and I can't let you take my friend here, Also I'm going to make sure this ends quickly." Because I really don't feel well.
He looked around the room for anything he could use to slow the alien down. "And Because I am the Doctor," His eyes locked onto them. He hoped they would fear him enough to just let her go. If not he would need a plan.

The alien pondered the Doctor having heard of the Time Lords of course but had thought they had all been killed. Well, obviously not. "You look as if you can barely stand Time Lord. How do you plan to take her?" Well, he could always use his sonic screwdriver on the ship overriding its system freeing all humans on board and allowing me to break free, take that thing and go home. As I think that is the only thing that can take me home. Caitlyn thought looking at the doctor as if to convey that to him to use the screwdriver.

The Doctor didn't feel well, he was hoping he wouldn't vomit again. He knew that he was clever and could do this. He lifted his sonic screwdriver to override the system and clicked the button on his screwdriver smirking.
"Now you were saying?" he told the alien.
He was coughing again and he could feel his head was spinning.

Caitlyn took the device and ran to the Doctor looking him over. She worried that he wouldn't be able to stand much longer. "I think this could take us back to Earth and then you're going to bed. But I'm not sure which button does it." She admits handing it over so he could look at it.
