"The Mafia isn’t blonde!"
"It is now.”

“We report today that Mafia don Bobby Baratheon has been found dead in his house. His wife Cersei's family, her younger brothers Tyrion and Jaime as well as her father Tywin have taken over the illegal gambling bars of the Baratheon Family, as well as the rest of Vegas’s organized crime. We also report that Commisioner Edward Stark received a threat this morning, finding the head of a horse in his bedroom. Police believes that the Lannisters have wanted to send a message to Vegas’s chief of police — that’s it for now, and here is Lisa with the weather.

It seems like the families of Las Vegas have always been at war. For many years, the Targaryen family ran Las Vegas with an Iron fist from their Hotel and Casino, Kings Landing. When Rhaegar Targaryen kidnapped Lyanna Stark, her brother Ned and his best friend Robert Baratheon, whom also loved Lyanna, gathered their family allies and launched an assault against the Targaryen family. Many were involved in the bloody fights, the Tyrells, the Martells, the Tullys and the Lannisters to name a few. Every mob family became embroiled in the war for the streets, which lasted just over one year.

By the end of the war, the Targaryens had all but fallen, Rhaegar was dead as was his father and much of his family. Unfortunately, Lyanna had also been killed in the skirmishes and although Robert had won the town, he had also lost so much. To settle differences, Robert married the powerful Tywin Lannister’s young daughter, Cersei. Ned, devastated by the loss of his sister, gave up the mob life and turned his head towards protecting Las Vegas from further bloodshed, installing himself as Chief of Police and operating from the halls of his estate, Winterfell. He continued to raise his children there whilst holding a gentleman’s agreement with Robert to turn a blind eye to some of his more illegal dealings.

Fast forward to present day and the news as reported that Robert Baratheon has been found dead at his home at the Kings Landing. A week earlier, his close friend Jon Arryn died of a short illness. Upon their deaths, it has become obvious that the Lannister’s now control Las Vegas and this worries Commissioner Stark. That family had always been ambitious and with Robert out of the way, Tywin can do whatever he wants…

Based in the city of Sin, the Lannisters have always been a family to be respected, admired and above all feared. Crime and money is all they know. That, and family. If you mess with one Lannisters, you mess with them all. They might not like each other, but the family name means too much for any one member to fall as someone else’s prey. This Pride is unbreakable.
The gritty crime culture is masked by corporate stages, multi-million dollar businesses that act as a distraction from the illegal activities that most of these families are taking part in.

“I couldn’t love a motherless child” – Catelyn Stark about Jon Snow

Name:
Jon Snow

Affiliation:
Stark
Night’s Watch

Age:
24

Occupation/Position:
Police Officer

Personality:
Jon was raised as a Stark and in many ways took to their values of honour, to which he tries to conform even when faced with complex and morally ambiguous decisions. He idolizes his father, Eddard, but is wounded by his refusal to discuss or name his mother. He has a perceptive and observant outlook, a man who can sit quiet in a room and understand everyone else in seconds. He often displays bravery, resourcefulness and quick thinking during his time as an officer, eventually becoming a natural leader and mentor in the Night's Watch despite his youthful age.
While he was close to the Stark children, Jon once stated that, as a bastard, he "grew up quicker" than them, and he is shown to be a great deal more solemn than his siblings; the experience of maturing with an illegitimate status made him bitter and with a desire to prove himself, thus, he chooses a life of hard duty in the Night's Watch to earn his own honour. Despite his sombre demeanour, however, he is compassionate towards those he views as fellow outcasts and rejects.

Family:
Mother – Unknown - Deceased
Father – Ned Stark
Sister(s) – Sansa and Arya – Half Sisters
Brother(s) – Robb, Bran and Rickon – Half Brothers
Child(ren) – N/A

Short History:

Life was never going to be easy for the boy that would come to be known as Jon Snow. A bastard born during a time of great upheaval, Jon arrived on the doorsteps of Winterfell nestled in the arms of Ned Stark. No mention of his mother ever made to him, his parentage has often been the talk of the Winterfell estate. With some believing that he is the son of a whore, whilst others believe him to be the son of Eddard’s sister Lyanna and a member of a rival family. The truth however has never been revealed. Jon was given the name Snow as he was not, nor ever could be a true Stark. Raised alongside, Eddard and Catelyn’s true children, Jon although never wanting for anything felt very much like an outsider. The way Catelyn would look at her children would always break his heart because he knew that no one would ever look at him like that.
As he matured, it became obvious to many that Jon was desperate to strike out on his own and make his own path in the world. Leaving home at seventeen, he joined the police force as both a dedication to his father but also as a way to prove something to himself. Jon was not a Stark by name but he was one by blood and the ideals of justice ran deep within him. Upon completing his training, he started off as a beat cop patrolling the streets of Las Vegas before eventually, finding his way onto an elite squad of detectives that were nicknamed the Night’s Watch and based in an old run down building called The Wall.

Name: Sansa Stark

Affiliation: Stark

Age: 18

Occupation/Position: Barista

"My skin has gone from porcelain, to ivory, to steel."

Personality:

Are they a daredevil or cautious?:
Sansa lacks the bravery of her other siblings - well, the bravery that they possess. Sansa has her own form of bravery, a little weak and hard to see, of course, but definitely brave. What she doesn't like though, is risks or gambles; which is rather weird for her living in the gambling capital of the world. No, Sansa prefers everything to go along as planned: her school, her love life, her entire life. Sansa is the type of girl that would have her wedding planned before she's even engaged, she doesn't even have a boyfriend yet but she's working on it.

Do they act the same alone as when with someone?:
It's when she's amongst people, she comes alive. Her shielded upbringing and the constant examples set by her mother were enough to drive the ideas of manners, etiquette and lady-like tendencies, deep into her mind. One would even go so far as to say that Sansa works best when she's surrounded by people; even though she is rather shy. Whether it be chatting mindlessly with her friends or making polite conversation with customers at her workplace, Sansa subconsciously uses her innocent looks and kind mannerisms to cast a smile onto most people's face.

Habits:
Habits? The entire backbone of Sansa's everyday life is based off habits. She gets up, takes a shower and does her make up before eating breakfast and rushing to school. After school, she heads to the coffee shop and works her shift before heading home and collapsing onto bed. This is repeated every working day. On the weekends her timetable is a little more liberated and she makes a lot more time for her family or friends.

In terms of bad habits, she has a few. She had gone through a phase of biting her nails when she was little before her brother was hired to tell her a story of how her finger nails would fall off. Now, she's picked up one habit that she can't really rid herself of - curling her hair. If she was trying to think, then one would usually find Sansa curling a lock of hair and staring into empty space.
Drinks:
Sansa takes a special concern in her looks and thus, this affects mostly everything she does. Even though she loves drinking various forms of coffee, she tries to keep it to a bare minimum so she won't stay up half the night.

Alcohol-wise, she's not very experienced - her dad is rather strict and going to parties was outlawed a long time ago but she does have the occasional drink with her friends; now that she's eighteen. When she is drunk (this doesn't take very long), it's really rather noticeable as she has a far-off look and tends to be a lot more adorable.
Greatest Strength:
One of Sansa's greatest strengths is the fact that she very rarely looks at the negative side of things - much preferring to add a pinch of sugar to everything. Although this isn't always the greatest thing, it really holds her above the abyss when it comes to dealing with stress, among other things. It also causes her to be in a general pleasant mood most of the time.

Another of her great strengths is the ability to persist, no matter what. This will probably be tested rather drastically in the coming months of her life but so far she hasn't particularly shown it. Even if life throws everything it has at her, she can hold on by the tips of her fingers, something that couldn't be said for most people. However, her life is quite comfortable and she doesn't have a lot of financial strain. Her father is the Commissioner and a healthy salary follows with the title. She's well-liked and people can't help but cave in to her charm unless they completely hate her or are a lot more mentally capable.

Greatest Weakness:
In Sansa's world, very little people are classified as 'evil'. Not only that but her innocence and naivety prohibits her from seeing the bad side of people when it's on show. This causes her to actively seek friendship in people that she shouldn't be seeking friendship with. More than likely, this will change as her story develops but as of now she could be friends with a psychopath.

In fact, one of Sansa's main weaknesses is innocence itself. She believes that as long as she's good and pious then she'll get everything in life - a nice job, a good husband, some children. That's really all she wants from life but she has yet to learn that life doesn't typically give you all you want and love can hurt you as much as it can help you.
Soft spot:
Sansa has a huge soft spot for romance films, she adores the idea of finding your one true love and these movies usually make her break out in torrents of tears. Not a very ideal soft spot but it's hard to see unless you watch these things with her.

Is their soft spot obvious, why/why not:
Her soft spot is slightly obvious, you can see it if you watch any movie that has some sort of sad twist in it. This won't really arise a lot in her life but if you become good friends with her then you must accept the plethora of emotions that follow it.
Biggest Vulnerability:
Sansa's biggest vulnerability is probably how she will easily trust someone she has only met and has yet to get to know. In a city run by crime and gangs, this weakness could spell the end of her but so far in her life, she has been shielded and has yet to feel the bitterness of Vegas. Another vulnerability is her constant need for people around her to do well. Sansa doesn't work very well alone and this could be very bad for her as well.
Family:
Mother: Catelyn Stark
Father: Ned Stark
Brothers: Robb Stark, Bran Stark, Rickon Stark
Sister: Arya Stark.
Half brother: Jon Snow

Short History:
Sansa was the second child of the Stark family and the very first daughter. Unlike her father, Sansa was devoid of any of the traditional Stark features such as the dark hair and the grey eyes. Instead, she possessed the Tully Auburn curls, high cheek bones and bright blue eyes. Her young life went remarkably well - her father was rich and could easily support any demands and her mother never had to work so she would always have attention. Her older brother and her half brother (whom her father apparently got from a short fling) would treat her like royalty and she never had no one to play with.

As she grew, she became a lot more beautiful, much like her mother. When she was twelve, she was sent to an elite private school for girls were Sansa was in her element. She quickly rise on the social ladder and eventually became another popular girl, fitting into certain cliques rather excellently. This period of her life was probably the hardest in some terms yet the easiest in others. She had yet to deal with boys but she found herself becoming more womanly everyday. When she finally did leave to go to college she found herself rather inexperienced in the whole spectrum.

Even though her dad could easily pay all the funds she needed, she still started working in a small coffee shop to pay for herself. Sansa was always the one who depended on people but could pave her way in life if need be. So she settled down a little, allowing her dad to buy her an apartment and generally doing pretty well in life. She wasn't always the smartest but she was smart enough to get good grades; however she still holds onto the childhood dream that she could have a big wedding and a dashing husband.
Other: Due to having 20/80 vision, Sansa requires glasses for mostly everything and keeps them on most of the day.
She has yet to be in a relationship and has avoided sleeping with someone.
Hates being alone with no one to talk to.
Has a husky named Lady.

"If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention."

Name: Ramsay Bolton

Affiliation: Bolton

Age: 23

Occupation/Position: Underboss of the Bolton Crime Syndicate

Personality: To describe Ramsay as abrasive would be putting it lightly. He doesn't abide by the rules, he doesn't play fairly, and he certainly doesn't let anyone think they can get one up on him. Ramsay considers himself the alpha dog in any situation he's in, but when faced with truly confident or successful people, he can become flustered and defensive, lashing out with increasingly nonsensical insults. Despite that, Ramsay is a capable manipulator and has a knack for controlling people to get what he wants. While he might not be the brightest, or the most knowledgeable, he is a good judge of character, and it takes little time for him to classify a person. He is particularly good at thinking on his feet, but doesn't often give much thought to long-term consequences.

Ramsay is very possessive over his belongings, even with trinkets of little value. Sadistic. Sarcastic. Snarky. Insolent. He's spoiled and venemous with the bite and attitude to go along with it. He’s very often obsessive about the things he does, the things he thinks about, and the people he chooses to follow. Ramsay doesn’t always show emotion, but when he does, it is strong. His determination could move mountains, and his fury is deadly.

Family:
Mother - Bethany Ryswell (stepmother, deceased), unnamed biological mother
Father - Roose Bolton
Sister(s) - n/a
Brother(s) - Domeric Bolton (half-brother, deceased)
Child(ren) - n/a

Short History: When Ramsay was born, Roose had quietly paid child support to shut his mother up. She knew he was well off, and spent months begging for his favour. Every year on Ramsay’s birthday she'd pitch a great fuss, about some other thing their son needed, to try and wheedle more money out of him. Growing up, Ramsay was the kind of kid who cut people's hair in school while they weren't looking or caught bugs just to burn them under a magnifying glass. He even set fire to one of his classmates' lockers - by accident, of course, and no one was injured. Just by flashing those doe eyes of his, Ramsay got out of a lot of trouble as a child. By the time he got to middle school, however, his propensity for violence had all but spiralled out of control.

The final straw came the first week of 6th grade when Ramsay stabbed an older kid three times in the neck with a drawing compass for calling him a fairy. Sitting in the dean’s office with his still-bloody hands folded in his lap, he had done his best to look contrite while his mother did all the talking. In the end, all she could do was drive from Salt Lake City to Vegas and drop him off at Roose Bolton's doorstep. She said his father was a mobster, ran some big operation, that he was dangerous and powerful and Ramsay didn’t believe her at first. Because, if Roose Bolton was such a big deal, why had he never heard of him? Big time mobsters made headlines. But his mother said that Roose Bolton never let anyone live who knew the truth and Ramsay liked the sound of that.

Standing outside the massive, dark door of his father’s house, Ramsay had nothing but a paper grocery bag full of clothes cradled in his arms. Roose's expression was nigh unreadable, but instead of putting a bullet through his head like he was tempted to, he placed a hand on his shoulder and led him to his new room. The Dreadfort was just a sofa and a flat-screen homier than a crypt, but to Ramsay it had always been a castle, having spent his whole life sharing a tiny studio apartment with his mother and a broken-down heating system.

Years passed, and while Domeric, Ramsay's half-brother tried to form a sibling bond with him, Ramsay had always been ambitious and he wasn't about to settle for being second-choice. And thus, he set about planning his demise. Poor, unfortunate Domeric never saw it coming, and before anyone knew it, his corpse was being sent away to the morgue. The autopsy revealed the cause of death to be acute cyanide poisoning, but because Domeric was the successor of the Bolton crime syndicate, no one was surprised when he was murdered. In the end, the investigation was halted when no one could find any solid evidence.

Now, Ramsay is looking at becoming the new head of the Bolton family. Granted, most of their power is concentrated around the Midwest, but their influence over their part of the Vegas remains strong, now that the Starks are no longer in the business. And despite having a number of lackeys to boss around, Ramsay prefers to do his own dirty work. Flaying and sawing off limbs isn't exactly the most glamorous job, but what can he say? He loves it.

Other: Ramsay has four dogs, all of them female mutts named Helicent, Kyra, Alison and Sara.

Just popping in to tell everyone I'm out of the house and won't be able to finish Oberyn until later tonight or tomorrow.

And might I add, I look forward to getting the Red Viper and the Bastard of Bolton in the same room.

Somehow.

Even if it makes absolutely no sense.

Tensai, don't worry about not putting it up yet, I'm not too sure when I'll get Cersei's up.
Can I get a vote? Baby Joffrey or leave Joffrey open??
Since we don't have a Margeary yet, @NarcassisticPotato, I'm posing this mainly to you since Joffrey and Sansa would probably have a lot of interaction if someone took over his character.

I think we should leave Joffrey open. After all, what mayhem can he cause if he's only a baby?

That's very true. In that case, I may create a new child, or maybe use Tommen, because Joffrey can't be Cersei and Jaime's son if he's going to be played; they're 27 :P

You could be Ned Stark, unless he is going to be an NPC or Arya? Just some ideas.

Which family do you see yourself being apart of? :/

Ned is playable. But Silver Carrot, you have absolutely free reign. No character is an NPC - but characaters people want can be ghosted if there's no one to play them/someone takes them up later.

"Tell your father I am here, and that the Lannisters aren't the only ones that pay their debts."
Oberyn Martell to Tyrion Lannister upon his arrival at Las Vegas.

Name: Oberyn Martell, "The Red Viper"

Affiliation: The Martell Cartel

Age: 40

Position: Acting head of operations

Personality: To be written

(Please note that the links are for visual aids or face-claims or whatever you choose to call them, outside of maybe Doran and Ellaria, they most likely won't be heavily involved, unless they become another player's PCs, of course.)
Family:

Doran Martell, Oberyn's elder brother and founder of the Martell drug Empire, Doran's health has taken a turn for the worst and he now spends the majority of his days at home, operating through his most trusted confidants.

Elia Martell, Oberyn's only sister, raped and murdered along with her children Aegon and Rhaenys by Gregor Clegane.

Ellaria, with whom Oberyn bore the youngest of his eight daughters; Elia, Obella, Dorea, and Loreza.

Obara, Nymeria, Tyene, and Sarella, the infamous "Sand Snakes".

Arianne, Doran's eldest child and only daughter, Arianne and her siblings have not yet been introduced to the criminal operations of their family.

Quentyn and Trystane, Oberyn's two nephews by Doran and Mellario.

History: Born in San Diego California ten years after his elder brother and a scarce one separating him and his sister, the Matriarch of the Martells always used to say Oberyn's birth was a miracle. During childhood and even into his criminal career, Oberyn remained fiercely close to his elder sister, Elia, and has jokingly stated that if not for her, he would've died by the age of twelve. One particularly memorable instance of Oberyn's knack for finding trouble was at the age of sixteen, when he was found in bed with Edgar Yronwood's (Doran's business associate.) mistress, two weeks later Edgar succumbed to a fever under mysterious circumstances. Ever since, Oberyn has been nicknamed the Red Viper.

In order to placate his peers, Doran sent his younger brother into faux-exile, and while many would think Oberyn would see this as an insult, the young Martell took it in stride, going so far as to study at the storied university known as the Citadel for an entire year before becoming bored and starting various stints as a professional fighter, musician, and poet. Years later, Oberyn would learn he had fathered several children along the way. Rather than use his family's resources to simply dismiss the children with child support and so on, Oberyn took full responsibility for the birth of his first four daughters, even raising them in the Martell's personal residence of Sunspear in San Diego. A loving and generally admirable father, Oberyn spared no expense to make his children happy, whether it be supporting Obara's athletic pursuits to paying Sarella's admission fee into the Citadel. Unlike what many would expect, the Sand Snakes are fully aware of Oberyn's life in the criminal underworld, and while they're theoretically uninvolved, no one has quite been able to dismiss the Viper's brood as harmless. It was also during this time that Oberyn met and fell in love with his mistress, Ellaria.

Oberyn saw his family for the first time in many years during the wedding of Elia Martell and Rhaegar Targaryen in Las Vegas, though his entourage of four young daughters and a woman who was mother to none of them gathered some odd glances and stares, Oberyn thoroughly enjoyed his time in the City of Sin and was even brought back into his brother's inner circle, where he remained for the next several years, earning a reputation for himself and his family within Las Vegas, and while many of their competitors saw the Martells instant rise to prominence with jealousy and disdain, Oberyn, along with the madness of his sister's father in law, ensured the more threatening of the Las Vegas families did not maneuver against the Targaryens' newest allies.

For a while, all was good in the world of the Martell family, but during the street wars culminating from Rhaegar's kidnapping of Lyanna Stark, Oberyn was unable to protect his sister when she was all but confined in Kings Landing. While Oberyn was furious and wanted to continue the conflict as long as possible to obtain vengeance, his brother stepped in and reached a diplomatic solution with the Lannister patriarch. Soon after, Oberyn abandoned Las Vegas and returned to San Diego, where he remained for some time before hearing the news of one Robert Baratheon's death and Tywin Lannister's rise to power. Seeing his opportunity to avenge his sister and her children, Oberyn, along with Ellaria made the trip to Las Vegas under the guise of taking over operations due to Doran's poor health.

Notes:

The Martells mainly operate out of Mexico and Southern California along the Baja Peninsula

Elia was uninvolved with her family's criminal operations, her marriage to Rhaegar was pure coincidence.
