Samuel took another bite out of his apple. "Anyway I hope no one's got any plans today. Taya called and she needs us to help her out with something after school." He finished eating the rest of the apple and tossed it in the trashcan. "I need to head out a bit early, anybody who wants a ride should speak up now."

Kiara looked up from her work at the familiar name, her brown eyes wide. "Wait, what?" she asked. "Taya called and you're offering rides? What'd she say? Why's she want our help?"

Samuel shrugged ad he picked up his bag and guitar case. "She needs help killing some monsters that are posing a danger to a play her school's holding. ." He held his keys in his free hand as he stepped to front door. " I don't know why you're so shocked about me offering rides? I'll give you a ride anytime you need it Ki, all you have to do is ask."

Matilda rushed over to Samuel and patted his back. "Hey! So, your sure that Taya was on the phone? Because it could've been a doppelganger, you know. A death spirit." She laughed and grabbed ber bags, running outside to her motorcycle and hopping on.

Nathan heard Samuel announce that they had another mission, and closed his book. He picked up Digo-Fami and set him on his shoulder, putting the books up and walking out his room and down the stairs. "So, we got to fight some more monsters?" he said when he arrived downstairs. he didn't wait for a response, but instead walked out of the house and hopping on his motorcycle, turning it on.

"No, I'm surprised that she called and yet you're offering rides like it's any other day," Kiara corrected. She watched as Matila dashed out and sighed. "And of course I need a ride," she added, hopping up to throw away the banana peel. She would follow her brother out the door, stuffing the..finished enough homework in her bag.

Samuel merely rolled his eyes at Matilda's comment. "I worry about you sometimes Mat." He unlocked his car and held the door open for Kiara and Anita. "Anyway I'm treating it likes its normal because it should be. She's our sister no matter what and we've got her back. Even if we haven't spoken in awhile that's still true." He laughed. "Plus she's probably really outta practice which should be interesting to see."

Kiara slipped into the car first, resting the book bag on her lap. At his explanation, she just sighed and rolled her eyes a bit. "It doesn't feel normal," she complained, hugging her bag and resting her head on its top. She left us, she thought, careful not to voice it as she pouted a bit.

Kor was riding down the highway when he got a text. =Kor meet us at Taya's school later need help= from: Sam. "What?!" Kor hasn't heard about Tay since the time she left them to fight on their own. Kor thought about it, she was still his sister and is she needed help, he would be there.

Samuel shut the car door and put his guitar in the trunk.. He made his way back to the drivers seat and started up the car. He adjusted his mirror to look at Kiara. "You're never going to get a boyfriend with all that pouting you do Ki." He smiled lightly as he started the car and drove off.

Lin had almost forgotten about the day Taya left, in all honesty he tried to forget about the whole thing. " Sister or no, it's our job right? So we don't have much of a choice." He said to Sam getting on his bike. Lin tried not to think about their sister leaving and the reason behind it "Better to leave the past in the past" He thought to himself while resting his head on the handlebars.

"That was different." Samuel replied back. He remembered the incident well, when they had to hunt down Taya's boyfriend. Even though he felt bad that it made Taya leave he didn't regret his part in it in the slightest. The wolf knew the proper channels to go through and he didn't care. By killing him they had saved lives. He drove the rest of the way in silence only muttering
"When did we become so jaded?"
