You only have to take damage if you get hit, it makes contact, or you try and defend against it.

If you have the potential to escape then you can, though most people use pretty wide range attacks when they've charged so much, which makes escaping pretty difficult. I don't know if Khan's character has the ability to eat away the ground or whatever, but if he does it's a more than legitimate escape for an attack which relies on floaty elemental damage.

Getting creative would have been the better option, I like to see charges like characters special abilities in fighting games. They're OP as fuck, but if you unleash them willy-nilly on a character completely prepared for them they just get blocked. It's all in the set-up.

He should not have wasted 4 turns of prep on a cannon, like I said some time ago, I've almost never seen anyone get hit by a perp, mostly due to people treating it like a charge up rather then a prep, for that many turns he could have created a stage changing effect worth the energy. Like a winter wonder land, or a ongoing blizzard, instead he put it in a cannon that he literally could have done anyway for like a single turn prepping it.

Just pointing this out, the only thing the machine is doing right now is compensating for the lack of his word of power.

Kanitah in base form has average abilities.
Kanitah with Darligrov has three times that.
Kanitah with JUST the engine, like he is now has the same abilities as he would with just Darligrov.
Kanitah with both the engine and Darligrov is a high tier.

If I'd known you were so angsty to get on I'd have let you know, but alerting my RP partners to my short absence wasn't first in my list of priorities when moving things to a new house, ya'know.

In case it wasn't clear, I'm leaving the fight.

Didn't really like how you capitalised on my absence, it left a sour taste in my mouth that was going to effect the rest of the battle anyway, and honestly I'm getting a little bored of Arena fighting and post by post as a whole.
